So I'm watching ESPN and I find Matt Millen really annoying...his jokes, his know-it-all attitude and the way he *knew* Favre was the real deal right away. Well you'd think this hotshot who knows so much would've figured out Harrington couldn't cut it or knew the risk of drafting Mike Williams...

Detroit's Calvin Johnson caught eight passes for 133 yards -- all but 14 of them in the first half, when he ran by Zack Bowman. The Bears put Charles Tillman on him in the second half and that helped before Johnson left late in the game with...
Yea I know he missed the first 2 games, but he's averaging over 100 receiving yards per game in the 6 games he's played in which is crazy. He's also got 4 TDs to boot. Yea he might not be on the same pace as his 2005 season, but it doesn't look like he's too far off that pace either. It wouldn't...

Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips has decided to have the NFC's Super Bowl favorite open the playoffs with a different look on offense. According to Cowboys sources, Pro Bowl running back Marion Barber will replace season-long starter Julius...
When I think of a backup RB with the most value, the first name that pops into my head is Marion Barber. I can't believe he wasn't mentioned...any staff explanations out there for why MB3 didn't make the list?
I saw the tail end of NFL live on ESPN. They showed a few clips of "All Day" running drills and catching passes. Anybody have any in-depth info on how he looked or how he did in the drills?
Meanwhile, we applaud Cleveland for inking Jamal Lewis to a one year deal.
He's better than Reuben Droughns and has an enormous chip on his shoulder.
Lewis, who rushed for a whopping 500 total yards against the Browns in 2003 in two games, told us on Thursday that he cannot wait to be in...
From PFT:
JETS CONSIDERING A TRADE UP?
We're hearing that the New York Jets are considering an effort to trade up from the No. 25 spot in round one to the top of the draft.
The Jets would like to get in position to draft either receiver Calvin Johnson or running back Adrian Peterson.
To...
I have been thinking long and hard about taking this guy at the 1.02 pick in a dynasty rookie draft. I haven't had a chance to see this guy in game action, but I have seen quite a few highlights of him and he reminds me a lot of Steven Jackson. Can any folks chime in on this guy? Does he have...
A reader tipped us off on Tuesday to the possibility that Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer emerged from Monday night's loss to the Colts with an injury. Per the tipster, Palmer has a shoulder injury, possibly a torn rotator cuff.
We've poked around a bit via our network of sources, and we've...
Just wanted to know if anyone has heard anything about Stallworth's hamstring? I know he played in the last game before the bye (albeit in limited fashion). Is he close to 100% now and ready to go full speed?
Rogers, who was the second overall draft pick in 2003, was cut by the Lions in training camp. He has worked out for the Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but hasn't been signed by another team.
The Lions are still trying to seek a return of $10 million of Rogers' signing bonus because...
From Rotoworld:
Redskins RB Clinton Portis is skeptical whether he'll be able to play Monday night.
Portis called himself 75% Thursday and said he wouldn't be able to play if the game was today. Portis talked about the "long-term" and the Washington Post reports that he probably won't play...
anybody know if the USC pro-day will be covered on NFL Network or anything? if it is can folks who have nfl network share info on how Bush/Leinart/White perform?
Chris Mortenson said yesterday that had the Packers themselves signed TO, Favre would've announced he was coming back to play in 2k6 today.
Obviously the guy still wants to play. What do you guys think? Do you think the way he is avoiding the decision of "play/not play" is ultimately to force...
