RB Le'Veon Bell, FA - 9.6.21 Workout For Baltimore

Steelers latest offer is the franchise tag, which is what the whole NFLPA agrees that Bell is worth. Bell doesn't want the $15 million, so he's holding out for more. That's only thinking clearly on Bell's part if he ends up making more money in the long run because of it. As long as Conner is...

ESPN Article on Brady & Kraft Sabotaging the Future for Brady's Ego

I believe that Wickersham was on WEEI this morning and they discredited some of his sourcing. Wickersham reported that he talked to multiple players who gave him his info on Brady. But he wouldn't answer how many players he talked to. Not even anything as simple as 'more than one'.

    NE RB Competition 2017

It's not even a contest to choose between Gilleslee or Hyde. Gilly has all the scoring opportunities on a high-scoring team, PLUS he gets carries outside red zone. Touches last week by Gilleslee: 15 rushes Touches last week by Hyde: 9 rushes 6 receptions

    Darren McFadden

I read today that McFadden was kept inactive to preserve him in case Elliot is suspended. Morris also did nothing with his few carries. I wouldn't drop McFadden unless you can pick up something significant. Elliot may still end up missing 6 games this season.

Anyone remember Pete Carroll getting chewed out by Boston reporter?

I'm trying to find a video of Carroll as the head coach of the Patriots getting chewed out by one of the local reporters. I think it was a Herald reporter. This was during an open press conference. The reporter was really laying into Carroll, screaming at him about bad decisions. Carroll had the...

**Streaming Defense 2015** Week 15 - Playoffs: No time to get cute

Chargers are tops in yardage, but 15th in points scored.

    Will the Falcons go undefeated?

That would be bogus. I understand letting every division winner get into the playoffs, but seeding should be based off your win loss record. An 11 win wildcard should host a 10 win division winner.

2021 Buffalo Bills - Same as it ever was***

Patriots fan here. Always had fun up in Buffalo for the games. Bills fans have always been cool when travelling up there and I've had many a beer with random Bills fans at the tailgate. I wonder if its all different this year with Rex Ryan. I rarely hear players say that they hate the other team...

Patriots being investigated after Colts game

I wasn't sure if he was innocent or not. His initial interview looked really bad back in February or so. It's only after the appeals process allowed for the transcript of his interview to be released that made up my mind. People were saying that Brady needed to say categorically that he didn't...

Patriots being investigated after Colts game

Even judge Berman thought that the 'gate' suffix was stupid: Berman also told NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Nash that Brady played better in the second half of the New England Patriots 45-7 romp over the Indianapolis Colts on Jan. 18 than in the first — when the balls used were found to...

Patriots being investigated after Colts game

I have no expectation that the judge has made up his mind, but I believe that he is inclined to rule for Brady. The judge has to overturn an existing arbitration, and he has to have a legal reason to do so. Especially in such a high-profile case where any ruling is almost certain to be appealed...

Patriots being investigated after Colts game

Here's another opinion by an attorney: The CBA requires that the arbitration be 'fair and consistent.' Berman is showing that the NFLPA has legitimate grounds here, SPECIFICALLY stating that a witness was not called. He even says that arbitration awards have been vacated for that. I don't know...

What legal experts are these that you are referencing? Everything I've read since court discussions began have been saying that this is more and more favorable for Brady. Are you getting information from NFL.com?

Patriots being investigated after Colts game

I already posted this in the thread. Berman has specifically said that he sees legal ground to vacate the arbitration. From Stephens Twitter: My impression: Berman tipped his hand a bit to NFL in an effort to make the sides settle. Berman: "There are some basic procedures of fairness that have...

Patriots being investigated after Colts game

If the balls test out in the same PSI range next year, under scrutiny, it totally exonerates the Patriots. It is possible that they did nothing wrong. If the balls never come in below 12.5 PSI (unlikely due to science) it suggests that the Pats really were doctoring balls. Basing your whole...
