Week 1 Questions for Bloom (1 Viewer)

Have you noticed that Dez has underperformed every single opening game? I'm pretty sure you guys have brought it up in the past but I just noticed the other day while doing some research. 

Seriouly though , take a quick peek at his opening day stats and let me know if I should consider benching him for my other WRs - OBJ, K Allen, Ginn, Cobb?

What do you think about the prospects of Ted Ginn as a replacement for Odell Beckham if he doesn't play?  Thanks Bloom.

Hi Sig.  Would you start Hyde over Crabtree, with the caveat that RBs in this league get 2 points for every 10 receiving yards (1 point for every 10 rushing yards).  Also, it's 0.5 PPR.  Thank you!

Hey sig. Marshall, Watkins, or Abdullah in flex spot? Ppr.

Also, what do you think about trading Watkins for hogan after this week givin Watkins tough CB matchups in the upcoming weeks.

In a pickle as I am in my first season playing .5 ppr. Background-Its a 12 team keeper league, where you can keep up top three players. We do an auction draft and I came into the season pretty stacked with my WR keepers however whiffed on the draft as I waited on better values that never came to fruition. I am not feeling too confident with my RBs... 

Now to the point, would you trade Baldwin and Gronk for Kareem and Terrelle Pryor given the rest of my roster or am I undervaluing my players to much? If so, what RB would be a good trade for Gronk and Baldwin? OR would you sit tight and not trade?

Roster--

QB- Brady

RB(s)- Lynch, D.Martin, Gore, Forte, Burkhead, C. West

WR(s)- OBJ, Baldwin, Fitzgerald, C.Davis, Zay Jones, Mike Williams

TE- Gronk

Worth gambling that I can start both Beckham and Diggs this week, or should I play Allen Robinson and just have Diggs ready to go on Monday night if Beckham sits?  I love Diggs' matchup against the Saints...

1) Emmanuel Sanders, Matt Forte, or Tedd Ginn in flex?

2) Manning, Hoyer, Flacco, or Bradford?  I need Winston cover and can grab any of these guys off the WW. (Was gonna go Manning but without ODB...)

3) Better Bench Stash - Wendell Smallwood or Cooper Kupp?

In a 10-team .5PPR league with the following starting spots:

QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, Flex, K, DST

current roster:

  • QB: Winston, Palmer
  • RB: Zeke, Cook, Lynch, T. West, Duke Johnson, Lacy
  • AB, Demariyus, D. Parker, Thielen, Tyrell Williams
  • TE: Olsen
I have 2 questions:

  1. would you roll with Palmer this week or swap him for: Dalton or Taylor?
  2. would you drop either Duke or Lacy for one of the following
  • Ginn
  • Marvin Jones
  • Moncrief
Edit, 2nd league question:

12-team, standard scoring, 3-player keeper league (can only keep players drafted after the 5th round). 

  • Would you drop Robby Anderson for Evan Ingram?
Current WR/TE's: AB, Jordy, Diggs, J. Matthews, Corey Davis, Robby Anderson. TE: Gronk

Hey Bloom,

Thoughts on Odell this week? Worth the risk or sub him out for Theo Riddick, Mike Wallace, or Corey Coleman?

Note: Projected to win after opponent's gronk laid a huge egg.

Note 2: RBs get 1 pt per 4 rushing attempts in this scoring system.

* A. Thielan vs NO -- Great matchup, but moving to slot. A bit of an unknown.

* D. Woodhead @CINC -- Could get some receptions, but Flacco been out. Could see this offense being  a bit dysfunctional.

* R. Kelley vs PHI -- Not flashy, but at home, decent history last year against PHI.

Also, std league got offered CJ Anderson for Hyde.  Who would you rather have?

League 2:  With OBJ unlikely to play, need flex in FFPC:

Welcome back Sig... two standard leagues

1) Start Abdullah, Woodhead or Joe Mixon @ RB #2?

2) Elliott on our waiver wire (we have no bench players)...so drop which one: McCoy (not), so D Cook or C Hyde? I really like these 3 RB's, but Elliott has got to be a huge upgrade since it looks like he'll play the whole season?

i wouldnt bench him but i wont be surprised if the Giants limit him to a meager fantasy output. allen, cobb, and ginn also have limiting factors

good boom bust play and should get plenty of short targets, but MIN D will be strong at home. definitely one of best WRs to play Monday night
