Well the investigation has been flawless to date. It’s *possible there is criminality here, but my guess is if it arises it would be about Cohen and would be handled like John Edwards, by the US Attorney where Cohen is, in NYC. There is still an FEC issue to play out so that’s a long way away.

Trust me I know. I’ve read a lot of the 1600+ page conspiracy theory thread on this forum that rivals the tin foil doomsday nuts. Everyday something new comes out that will indict Trump the next day but the next day turns into something else blah blah blah. If Mueller finds Russian collusion I will 100% accept his findings and seek appropriate justice.
If it all ends up that Trump screwed a porn star and hid some money twenty years ago, well I would call him a typical billionaire.

I’d say proof of salacious & verified allegations that Trump was susceptible to sexmail in 2 instances would be relevant to one particular salacious & unverified claim of the same in the Russia investigation at least.

If this investigation ended today it has been a success. 20 indictments. Plus forced Trump to finally admit that Russia hacked our election. Anything from this point on is just gravy. If they end up finding there was collusion, then that's great. If they find nothing that proves collusion, that's fine too. Personally, I hope they find collusion. I hope they find tax evasion. and I hope they find obstruction of justice. I would love nothing more than to see that disgusting piece of #### sit in a jail cell. But that's just my personal feelings toward anyone who is as crooked and deceiving As Trump. I just hate him as a person and went to see him punished. The fact that I doubt he ever sees a jail cell or gets impeached, doesn't mean that this investigation has been a huge success. If nothing else, it's showing how immoral the GOP is and puts a big yellow highlighter on all those who didn't have the guts to speak out about Trump and his wrongdoings. And the long-term political ramifications of that cannot even Be Imagined at this point.

I agree with that as far as their president didn't get impeached. But you have to realize how low the bar is for the Republicans right now. From a nation Viewpoint, the fact that 13 Russians were proven to have tampered with this election is a Monumental Discovery and made possible by this investigation. Also, seeing 4 or 5 key members of Trump's Administration admit guilt on a series of crimes is a major hit to the GOP.

I respectfully disagree but I can respect that point of view. I think a lot of Democrats feel anything short of indicting Trump for Russian collusion would be a loss. Much like what you said earlier, there is an enormous amount of hate people have for Trump and they want to see him rot in prison, much like Republicans wanted to see Hillary rot in prison not long ago/still do.
