I am not saying he is fast but he is smooth.  Many QBs that tall move like they are wounded giraffes.

Give it a few years until he gets a bit older and takes a few hits from NFL DLinemen haha.

But ya I guess you could say he's smooth.  Mobility numbers at the combine were some of the lowest for a QB they've seen though.

He has a chance to be solid though, I'd love to see him become a starter.

They just traded their latest to the Ravens, who selected SMU WR James Proche.

I guess they rather dominate the 7th round.  WTF.

Proche to Ravens. Interesting.

Who do the Packers take at 208/209? Gotta be an WR for one of them.

Same guy, he's making a comeback.

Blue Thunder just said it's his son, and I heard ESPN refer to him as Jon Runyan Jr.

Yeah, probably would have been a bigger story if a 50 year old guy was in the NFL draft.

Any idea what Baltimore gave up? Was it another PK who had zero chance of making the team?

Musical performances: why?

Does ESPN really think people who are still watching (round 6/7) want to see this crap?

Jaguars just selected Oregon State QB Jake Luton.  Any background on him?

Rotoworld:

Quote

Jaguars selected Oregon State QB Jake Luton with the No. 189 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Luton (6'6/224) started in 20 of 23 career games for the Beavers, joining Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Fields as one of only three FBS quarterbacks with 21-plus touchdown passes and three or fewer interceptions in 2019. While Luton's gangly frame includes large hands (10 3/8") and sufficient mobility to extend plays outside the pocket, he peaked with 7.6 yards per attempt in coach Jonathan Smith’s pro-style offense due to his conservative nature as a game manager and checkdown artist. Luton shows the willingness to stand behind the line of scrimmage and take shots, but he completed just 35.8 percent of his passes under pressure in three years at Oregon State (via Pro Football Focus). His medicals will be crucial after suffering a thoracic spine fracture in September 2017 and missing the final game of his college career with a forearm injury last November. A 24-year-old prospect who seemingly prevents explosive plays, Luton projects to be fighting for his life on an active roster throughout his career.

Not since 2015, when the Broncos did it according to ESPN.

PFF favorites WR Jauan Jennings & S Geno Stone are as slow to get drafted as they are on the field. They go in the early 7th to SF & BAL, respectively.

Jauan Jennings just got home from the Combine. If he starts now, he should get to camp on time.

Rotoworld take:

Quote

Titans traded up to select Hawaii QB Cole McDonald with the No. 224 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

A two-year starter in coach Nick Rolovich's run-and-shoot offense, McDonald (6'3/215) tossed for 40-plus touchdowns in each of the last two seasons, joining Timmy Chang and Colt Brennan as the only players in school history with multiple 3,000-yard campaigns. He also led the nation with nine completions 40-plus yards downfield in the Rainbow Warriors' designed empty backfield. He's a challenging evaluation due to Hawaii's voluminous up-tempo attack but does offer accurate timing and touch, not to mention the mobility and speed (4.58 40) to escape most backfield pursuits. He'll have to take better care of the football at the next level as he did fumble 12 times over his career, getting benched twice in his last two seasons due to inconsistent performance. His toughness and nonchalant attitude in playing through pain will be noticed, however, as he projects as a backup with great character for any team willing to have patience with his development.

Mobile guy, live arm, not the most accurate.  Took some big hits while scrambling.

Like the bad Mariota.

Not drafted yet. Only guy left in the virtual green room out of the 58 who they originally announced.

Kind of rude to invite him honestly. He's not much of a prospect.

It must be awesome being the QB in Hawaii.  Even if you're no good, you're still the QB in Hawaii.

Spotty accuracy, live arm, questionable mechanics and decision making, likes to steal picnic baskets.

I had UDFA grade on him
