Probably not. This will not be Dallas’s best roster, but it’s not like he hasn’t had many chances with really good talent.
He either leads the team to, at a minimum conference title game appearance, or he can get paid $300 million plus to lose in the playoffs somewhere else.
How is his reputation as a playoff loser unfair in any way? 2-5 is 2-5. Couple that with terrible, poorly timed picks. There is not an evidence based way to conclude that his reputation as a playoff loser is unfair. Just sayin…it’s not directed at you, it’s directed at the Dak defenders.
Perhaps they’ve actually learned something. Make Dak show he can actually win in the playoffs before he gets the bag. If he does, he should be paid in the top of the range. Another year like the past several- let him go and lose in the playoffs somewhere else.
While he’s not the best QB in this draft, from a risk/reward scenario, coupled with anticipated draft position, makes him my favorite prospect in this class.

The caveat here is that the WR class is incredibly deep, we are looking at 15 guys that could earn legitimate roles this season, and that is not an exaggeration.
If he goes to the Vikings in round #2, I think that makes him 1.05 in many leagues. But, if he goes to Denver in round #3 (Payton drafted Kamara and the comp is reasonable), that might be an even better fit. He’d be a great tandem with Javonte and I could see Denver having an Ingram/Kamara style...
