Messi versus Neymar at 8pm. And some Brazilians want Argentina to win so Messi can finally win one for his country.

In the consolation match, Luis Diaz of Colombia had 2 impressive goals, including the game winner as time was running out. Both goalies had great long passes to help their teams score goals.

Yeah...crazy last second goal (as the clock hit 93 of 3 extra minutes).

Diaz was a guy that really popped for me- looked great against Argentina (forcing them to kick the crap out of him to try to slow him down), and again here. knew nothing about him before this.

 
What another great weekend for soccer. Love that I lived long enough to see soccer explode in this country. 

 
I’m 1/3 through a three-game Copa weekend parlay:

Colombia win in regulation ✅ (barely)

Argentina win in regulation

Messi goal in regulation

need the Messi narrative to win out tonight

 
No matter how good he is, I never have and will never enjoy watching Neymar play. I just can't stand his theatrics. Just such an unlikable player for me.

It's crazy watching Arg swarm Neymar, and Bra swarm Messi every time each gets the ball. 2-4 guys beeline for them.

Yeah. And his commentary is usually somewhat game related. Twellman seems to oscillate between spouting random takes that sound like they're from Twitter and being almost completely silent.

Hes been getting absolutely mauled all copa. People understandably hate his diving and overacting...but blood man, hes getting the #### kicked out of him too.

It's kind of amazing to watch these games at the same time as the Euros.  The Europeans generally let you play.  South American football is a freakin' knife fight.  Reminds me of the rec league I joined right after college.  Just 60 minutes of 5'5" guys snapping at my ankles.

Both are oblivious how much the talk during live action, you know, when the announcer should be announcing.
