That's gonna be fun to read.
It was. Interesting take here by Imperioli:
I thought it was a great ending. A lot of people hated it and thought it was a cop-out, but I thought it was the proper way. Knowing David Chase, he never liked to wrap things up neatly. I never expected it to be either a cliffhanger so people would wait for the movie or wait for another season or just some like really final thing. But I think he’s dead, is what I think. David was trying to put us in the place of the last things you see before you die. You remember some little details and something catches your eye and that’s it. You don’t know the aftermath because you’re gone.
Very few cast members or crew have dared to offer an opinion on the finale.

I don't wanna smell your piss!

#### you, Paulie.

What'd you say?

You heard me.

Don't make me pull rank on you, kid!

#### you, Paulie! Captain or no captain, right now we're just two ###holes lost in the woods.

Cablevision recently finally got access to HBOGO, so I started watching the show from episode 1.

When it was actually on, I kinda fell in and out of it. Awesome to watch from the beginning.

Just watched the episode where Junior put the hit out on Tony. Man, the actress that played Livia was unreal.

Nancy Marchand was a fine actress indeed. I remember her way back when on Lou Grant. You have to be a good actress to inspire such emotion in viewers. I hated Livia. If Marchand wasn't so good at her craft, I'd be indifferent. Whereas I hate "Janice" mainly because I can't stand looking at Aida Turturro.

On a sidenote, I noticed the date for the first post.It was five years ago last Sunday. This has to be one of the longest running threads on the site.
It's up there, but there are still some from '06 going strong. The drunk thread, for instance.

Mix it with the relish.

"When I came in to open up one morning there you were with your head half in the toilet, your hair was in the toilet water. Disgusting."

:lmao: :lmao:

The look on Paulie's face when Ade says how Chrissy can no longer function as a man is still one of the single greatest moments in the entire series. :lmao:

"How 'bout the fact that I hate my son? I come home, he's sittin' on the computer in his underwear...wastin' his time in some chitchat room goin' back an' forth with some other ####in' jerkoff... gigglin' like a little school girl. I wanna ####in' smash his ####in' face in."

One of the awesome, underrated lines was when Chrissy is in the hotel room doing blow with the hooker.

He looks at her and says "Those are some GREAT t#ts!" :lmao:

Watching the final season the past week or so. I really loved the final scene between Junior and Tony. Thought that was perfect.

Absolutely love this....cracks me up every time I see it. He says it with such disgust and venom.

Almost the same way he described Paulie humming commercials."And he hums."

What are some of the best insults from the show?

Chrissy calling Vito a "parade float"

Tony talking to Uncle Joon about his long-lost uncle: "Ma talked about a slow brother--but I always thought she was talking about you"

Chrissy: My point... our babies. They're the future. You realize by the time Caitlin's outta college it'll be like the year 2027 or somethin?

Paulie: She takes after you and she won't be outta fourth grade by then. 'Course by that time she'll be workin' here so who gives a shit.

"Ya hear that, T? I asked him, 'Do you remember you first blowjob?' He says yeah. So I says, 'How long did it take for da guy to cum? Heheheheh..."

Good one.The insult that almost ignited a war: "Ginny Sack had a ninety five pound mole surgically taken off her ###"

I still chuckle at this insult:

Ralphie: Where's Tony?

Gigi: (while wiping off of his face since Ralphie's kiss came a little too close to his mouth  ): He's getting his wheel greased.

Ralphie: Oh, your kid brother's here.

How many people did Tony have a direct hand in killing?

Rat he kills when going to visit colleges with Meadow

Bevalaqua

Ralphie

Chrissy

I think there was someone else on a boat but I might be confusing that with Big #####. Who else am I missing?

Chucky Signore, one of Junior's soldiers. The infamous "pulling a gun out of the fish" whacking.

That scene with that doctor is awesome. When he calls her out for being an enabler instead of an accomplice..wow. Great stuff. I have long said that Second Opinion is not only one of the best episodes of Season 3, but of the entire series. Edie Falco puts on acting clinic in it.

The scene where Ralphie beats that stripper to death is probably the worst thing I've ever seen in a film or TV show :(
Yep. Interesting timing on the bump. I was just about to do the same.Love this scene with Sully Boyar. He died not longer after this was filmed.

Carmela: "My priest said I should work with him; help him to be a better man."

Dr. Krakower: "How's that going?"
The psychiatrist / Carmella scene is one of the best scenes in any series.

Just saw the scene in Boardwalk Empire where Pearl (the hooker Jimmy Darmody takes a shine to when he first arrives in Chicago) gets her face sliced up. That and her rapid downward spiral into suicide was heartwrenching to watch. Such a sweet, lovely gal.

Fabian "Febby" Petrullio is the guy Tony kills in the "College" episode.Willie Overall is some bookie that was Tony's first hit. They showed it in a flashback. It was in season 6 I think.
