I disagree. I think Ralphie wanted to see Jackie crash and burn. He is the one who ultimately decided to whack him.

I could have sworn the idea was if he did not whack Jackie he was going to lose respect.

 
Wasn't the conversation about whacking Jackie a dig by Tony in regards to a previous conversation about leadership that Tony and Ralph had? I thought that Tony kind of painted Ralph into a similar corner that Ralph had painted Tony into earlier in the season.

Yeah, I left the word out. But yeah, Tony was incredible with his manipulation in that scene. I love their scene in the next episode...."More important than the particular decision is that it happen in a timely fashion. But you know that already; that's why I made you captain."

Tony wanted Ralphie to "make the decision" so that he didn't look like he killed his friends son and also to avoid guilt. He told Ralph to do it though basically.

 
I always thought it was a shame that Jackie Jr never got the chance to further explore his interest in fashion design, he could have been the next Hugo Boss

I just came in to post this today.

You know, I don't even care that Tony lived or died. It's more interesting not knowing. What I do care about is that people posted in this very thread stating declaratives that sounded something like, "He's dead. There's no debate on this matter."

 
Saw Carmine in an old Law and Order the other day as a boxing trainer. no lines.

I guess I forgot that Gigi was an ancillary detective on L & O in the old days also.

 
The Paulie/Johnny Sac defection storyline.

Who would have suffered the most if that had ever gotten out? I used to think it would be Paulie--an automatic death sentence. But, Johnny would not have come out unscathed. He was operating without Carmine's consent (or knowledge), jeopardizing the relationship with New Jersey, and possibly igniting a war.

Your father was run over by a trolley, right?

 
The first doctor; the "You've got a mustard stain" doctor, was he the one sitting with Kennedy, discussing Walt's recovery protocol?

Saw Meadow in Whole Foods the other day. She was behind me in the checkout line with a baby and some surfer dude looking boyfriend. I wanted to ask her if she ever got over Jackie Jr. She's aging pretty well.
