Maguire and Rashford look so bad.  Ronaldo is getting so pissy when the pass doesn't come.  And he's right to be most of the time.  Rashford nor Fred can play him a good ball.

To bad Jones is on the bench instead of Bailly, something i don't understand.    Get Sancho on for Rashford please.

Ralf better get a holding MF in January

To be fair, they have had maybe a week of actual on field training since Ralf came in.  Covid and the fixture congestion all mean they haven't been training long in his system.  They also had to shut down for the last 2 weeks.  Sure they should be better, but some of it is circumstance.

Did the ref also book the ghost that touched Wilson?  I mean how do you call a foul when no one is around him?

Ok with Fred coming off, and I knew Greenwood would be off despite playing better than Rashford

Damn Rashford has been bad.  Again.

Its 1-1 so lets have Maguire slow the game down.  Then bring in Matic to help Maguire slow the game down.

Yeah, I think you need to take those homer glasses off. There is no chance he flips that fast and that significantly hitting a foot. Just watch Fraser's body. That's impossible without significant contact.

I could be wrong but its not his swinging foot that gets him.  And they do collide, sure.

But regardless, I am sure we can all agree that Harry Maguire sucks.  And has since he returned from injury vs Leicester.  At some point someone has to see it and say, lets try Varane and Bailly out there.

LFC looked tired...some big misses. But full credit to LC- huge win for them after getting run off the field vs MC, and coming in with so many injuries. all guts.

 
The end of an ERA...

Today’s Man United-Burnley match is the last Premier League match ever on NBCSN. Tomorrow the network signs off at 11:59 PT.

NBC will continue to broadcast EPL games on USA Network, and streaming on Peacock.

Things I have heard:
A better start than previous games.
Matic and Maguire poor for the goal (what a surprise)

Really was hoping Bailly and Varane would get the start.  Glad to see Bailly did.  At some point Maguire needs to be sat.  He has been crap since LCFC.

Glad to see Rashford was sat and Greenwood and Sancho played.

Confused as to why even when Bruno is suspended VdB can't get a start?

I wouldn't put it on them.

there was a break, Lennon found a seam and attacked it at pace (more than either of them)... but was forced into taking a shot with two guys between him and the goal. not sure if it was either of them, but I didn't see anybody look "poor" defensively on that. they forced a speedy guy on the break to take a shot rather than attack the goal- he just took it really well back across the goal and through legs (IIRC).

See, I don't even think they looked good in the first half.  A lot of possession - but Watford were giving them that.  Spurs did nothing with that possession.

 
I'm surprised how good Matip has looked lately. I'm sure they have cover for him, but he and Alisson in particular are big losses. at least they won't have to deal with Lukaku.

He's been great since he came to Liverpool, but has had consistent health issues.  Signed on a free too -- one of the best signings under FSG.
