Barcelona relies on fullbacks for width so that would be Alba mostly. Coutinho joins as an attacking midfielder when he plays. When Dembele plays, he typically is more of a wide-forward on the right. But, he will make runs on either side. It is a very fluid approach.

Per OPTA: Ashley Young gave the ball away 30 times vs Barcalona
I hope Dalot is, but they keep pushing him forward on the left wing or right wing. He has done well but need to get him games at RB.
And based on the above from Young, yes, get Young out of there and let Dalot play. And Young has been crap all season and getting worse.

One specific thing that United has been poor at since SAF and Gill left is allowing aging vets to hang around and get critical minutes. I was hopeful Ole would remedy that with his handling of Young but he hasn't shown the willingness to make a big decision there. That's just one instance for him so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now. And SAF had his soft spots too. He gave Scholes way too much playing time towards the end - one of the reasons Pogba left - but overall he seemed to have a good handle on when to mix fresh blood in. The bigger problem may be, as you point out, they don't have the players that demand the time. Dalot could be that guy but they don't have somebody pushing him out to help make the decision easier.
The result from yesterday was just one team being better than the other. I said the same thing after the first leg against PSG and Ole pulled off a miracle. Seems unlikely to happen again but we'll see.

I think the soft spot is correct since Ole has shown he will cut bait on those that don't fit (fellaini). But also Ole trying to settle the team and push the tactics and image he wants means no radical changes. It would surprise me more if Young was still the starter going into next season.
With Shaw and Young suspended for the West Ham game this weekend, I expect we will get Dalot on the right and either Rojo or Darmien on the left. Since Shaw is out 3 games, could then lead to Dalot and Young on the outsides and a good run of games for Dalot to show he deserves it.
Barca isn't as dominant as they have been in the past and are susceptible to the counter. A 2-1 win isnt out of the realm of possibility for United. But also neither is a 3-0 win for Barca.

That strike by Salah was insane.
United fans have no clue what to root for when they play City. Possibly give Pool the opening they need while trying to get top-4 or most likely lose out on top-4 but keep Liverpool knocked off their perch?

2 is simple - just root for Totts to hold on and even if they get a Treble it's inferior and would be a letdown. Unfortunately, nobody gives a #### about the FA Cup any more, especially those of us outside England. The only consolation for Pool winning the title would be if City only won the Caraboa Cup. I think it's important for Ole to be in CL next year to attract the players he wants - for that reason I think making top-4 has to be the priority. If Jose was still around we'd be rooting for City to beat us and finishing 5th to get rid of him.So many different angles to look at and its killing me.

Yeah, Tottenham needs to come up huge. Sadly I could handle Liverpool winning the CL just to keep City from doing it. But City needs the CL more and Liverpool needs the EPL more.

Watford's keeper takes too long on the ball and it deflects off Aubameyang and in. 3 mins later Troy Deeney is sent off with a straight red.

In what I saw, Deeney runs by the Arsenal player and smacks him on the face. Hard to tell if it was an elbow or hand that got him. Deliberate and off the ball though. I can see why they gave the red. I do think that if he had simply booked him, no one would complain. Video on twitter so it was hard to tell though.
ETA both friends that are Arsenal supporters agreed that it was a harsh red and should be yellow.

Depends on if Woodward brings in the right players or not. Need a new right side, a centerback and depth behind Dalot and Shaw at outside back.
I think he will make to next summer. I think Woodward will be sacked by christmas for giving OGS the contract...
