Its sad when you are happy to see your team score an away goal, win away for the first time since March, and keep a clean sheet....
Is he still on totts books? It has taken a while - but Edwards finally got a goal in North London
No - he was finally sold in the summer. I think Spurs have a decent sell-on percentage though. Is he still on totts books?
#### losing at home should be fun
Still picking myself up off the floor after that second goal. Not even a mention of this: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7mzkho or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VIclGDi50s (second goal)?
(I can't be arsed to find another link. I'm sure there are more.)
it really was a nice flowing move, start to finish.Great team goal though.
here is the reverse angle. That got in by a pubic hair
Tfc didn't look very good, tbh. They just didn't look like amateurish clowns, like their previous opponentAtlanta moves on to host Toronto. I think that’s a good matchup for Atlanta.
I could hear an argument for it being the biggest playoff game ever. But his job his to hype whether he believes it or not.Twellman pimping this LA derby as the biggest game in MLS history. I don’t go way back with MLS but really??
Was a comedy of errors right down to the howler.Lol. I could have saved that
8 goals, multiple hit posts, 2 goals called back, numerous nice saves, certainly not a game for people who like defenseJFC - how are those defenders considered professionals? What an embarrassment.
I thought when Bradley turned to look for him, he was going to charge himHoly hell, Bradley almost killed that reporter![]()
After he put himself in rehab or something not long ago, really nice to see him tear it up.Bunch of fun goals tonight but Diamonde acting like he is MBappe was my favorite

It may be coincidental, but the format change seems to have led to a bunch of high intensity, attacking games. What a game.
And what a playoffs so far (NYC teams excluded)...some fun soccer with tons of drama. Hope it keeps going into the semis
It's.certainly favored the brave, tactics-wise...a good thingNewlyRetired said:It may be coincidental, but the format change seems to have led to a bunch of high intensity, attacking games.
I am pretty sure the moment he signs with another team, assuming he does not retire, he is going to light the entire league on fire with his comments and they are likely to be pretty nasty, not Zlatanish, like this one above."I have another two months [on my contract]," Ibrahimovic said after the match. "We'll see what happens. ... [If I stay], then MLS is good, because the whole world will watch it. If I don't stay, nobody will remember what MLS is."
I think his crotch grab leaving the field would have been the perfect "end scene" to his MLS career.I am pretty sure the moment he signs with another team, assuming he does not retire, he is going to light the entire league on fire with his comments and they are likely to be pretty nasty, not Zlatanish, like this one above"I have another two months [on my contract]," Ibrahimovic said after the match. That’s what concerned me about Atlanta- FDB seems content to try and win 1-0. Problem is I have little confidence in our defense and we have 2 CBs out last night. We eventually got that second goal last night but that game was far from easy - Philly had plenty of good possession and some chances.It's.certainly favored the brave, tactics-wise...a good thing
I think he's done in MLS. And despite his goals, not sure he has enough left in the tank physically or mentally to play in a league where he'd have to actual...tryEl Floppo said:even if the zlat looked like his mind and body was elsewhere
Tfc should be easier, imo. Defense not as good, so as long as you put in the goals or should be fine. Or just aim for the bald kid and run past him. That’s what concerned me about Atlanta- FDB seems content to try and win 1-0. That was and is my thought too. Of the 3 teams that were left heading in to this week I saw it NYCFC > Philly > Toronto - obviously that's not going out on a limb as that was the seeding but Atlanta wanted no part of going to NY to play in that (potential) weather and more importantly on that pitch. Our defense looked like they had never played together but I give them credit for keeping the clean sheet. With Miles and Parkhurst out FDB was forced to play a back 4 and it was obvious that we were not comfortable with it. I hate to blast Ambrose but I will be disappointed if he starts against Toronto - he's pretty much worthless - slow, small and provides nothing in attack. With the Bello and Shea injuries Atlanta has not had a LB they can depend on for a while.Tfc should be easier, imo. Defense not as good, so as long as you put in the goals or should be fine. VAR in EPL would have ruled that back for offside after drawing all their lines to see his knee (and prob shoulder) were off. We can debate it as right or wrong per the rules all we want, but IMO MLS did this right and is the spirit of the rule, if not the letter. If you have to draw lines to find his toe off, there is no way a ref can be asked to call him off at full speed. And that make it even which is onside.NewlyRetired said:
Would have preferred him go out with that great strike for a goal at the end but the ref inexplicable called a foul and denied it.TLEF316 said:The demigod grabs his junk on the way out. Not the classiest way to exit but that's just who he is
