that PK was the classic example of taking a play that had a xG of .05 and turning it instantly into a play that has a xG of .75. 

 Most broken rule in all of sports :)

As good as City has been and as much as they've dominated the EPL the last few years, the fact that they've made only 1 UCL finals during that time (and ever) and lost has to be a reflection on him, right?

Sure if you don't count the laws covering handball, NFL rules covering a "catch", or how the NBA calls fouls....

I should clarify that there is a difference to me in poorly worded rules (like offside in soccer and the catch in the NFL), from just broken rules like the PK in terms of game deciding decisions.

 
I was looking forward with chatting with whom ever stayed up for the CCL Finals tonight here but it looks like the forums will be down during the game.

Just landed in Manchester. When this plane full of #LFC fans took off from Valencia, all the talk was about facing Manchester City in the Champions League final in Paris. There were two minutes left in Madrid.

Because yeah...I'm watching it.

But my stupid meeting just ended. I had the phone going with the game next to my lap top, but I was literally leading the ownership team via zoom through design changes (camera and sound on) and couldn't stop to watch. All I know is at some point I looked down and noticed it was 3-1 ... and I literally LOLed, to the teams confusion.

I must have read it wrong.  I thought he was saying the the forums would not be effected after the maintenance was complete.

I was confused by the "Thanks and apologies in advance for being down. "
 

I will check in here during the game so that we can discuss history or another face plant.

 
I just checked the Liverpool roster and see Loris Karius is still in the team. Surely Kloppo must give him a chance to right previous wrongs in another CL final against Real Madrid.

Haha, similar mistake here..  Just caught the remainder and just wow.  Those saves on Grealish late in regulation were huge.  Glad we're not getting another Premiership final.   

 
If you'd told me 5 years ago that Liverpool would be deserved favorites in a Champions League final and looking to crush the dreams of the never-say-die, plucky underdogs, Real Madrid, I'm not sure I'd have believed you.

 
Sea defensive shape too deep for my liking.

Don't need to press high, but can't let them walk the ball into the attacking third either.

 
I yell you what...Morris has looked good. That receive, turn and shot were absolute class.

Lodeiro, clearly on another level compared to anybody else on the field.

If every one is healthy AND roster is only 23, it is going to be razor close.  If any of the wingers hurt or larger roster size, he is definitely on the roster.
