****ing hate that rule so much. IMO they got it right this time, but you routinely see that ignored. Just get rid of the subjectivity. "Out of the play" means literally nowhere near the ****ing ball. Everything else? Off.
 
Not sure I've ever seen a team that simultaneously that so deserved to be two down and also so unlucky to be two down. PK aside neither team has created very many big threats.

(ETA: non-PK xG: City .41 - .14 LFC)
 
Gabon equalized but Osimhen missed a breakaway goal in the final minute of stoppage time. His shot must have been 5 feet wide of goal.

Headed to extra time.

Norway, Hungary and Iceland did their jobs in the early Euro quali games so Italy must win in Moldova right now

Huge derby day tomorrow. Us against the Pigs at 7am EST, then North London derby at 11:30 (split screen with the St Pauli v Union Berlin hipster derby anyone?), then the Milan derby at 2:45

Soooo glad you could enjoy that match. ;)

Spurs have improved a little, but they aren't going to be able to hang with the big boys until they replace a few players or start landing more players like Eze. Been a fan of this team/sport for a whole year or so and I get angry when I see Richarlison starting.

They get to follow this with a match vs. PSG on Wednesday.
 
So Everton goes Roy Kent vs Jaime Tartt and gets shown red as one Everton player slaps his teammate. Then they score to make it 0-1 at the half.
Also not sure how Tarkowski is still on for Everton. Blatant off the ball stomp on Zirkzee's foot no card, then a hip check on Zirkzee at the top of the Everton box with not even a foul called.

Even then, United have no urgency, playing hospital balls, can't pass to a teammate. So ugly. That kid may never get his haircut....

These 40 minutes since Gana went off is probably the worst I’ve seen any team in the league play this season. United have been utter garbage and they deserve nothing from this game.

Bruno was the worst and should be sitting. But he can't be for some reason.

This game they decide to serve their 6'7 striker not remembering he's out.

Can't beat 10 men Everton. What a joke.

Hard to pick the worst but probably Zirkzee for me. He was totally worthless - I think they could have taken him off without replacing him and played 10v10 and been better.

Hard to pick the worst but probably Zirkzee for me. He was totally worthless - I think they could have taken him off without replacing him and played 10v10 and been better.

I disagree, I thought he had some solid moments overall and wasn't bad for having not played. Had some nice passes and hold up play. Definitely not a striker though, Not sure if one of the kids on the bench was a striker, but maybe send him on. Bruno with so many bad decisions, bad passes and missed opportunities was worse.

They missed Cunha. He (and Sesko) is going to have to step up with Mbuemo and Amad at AFCON.

Mostly they couldn't pass, didn't get to any second balls, and couldn't score. I would rather have seen Mainoo start with Bruno pushed to the 10 behind Zirkzee with Mbuemo. Leave Amad on the right. I would expect Cunha back next match.
