i thought that was me?

You’re my 2nd favorite lol

😘

.... and this also explains why we didn't get any paddock reports from you - that filly has TWO (luscious) legs 😅 we needed you glancing the four legged gals 😉

I’ve mentioned before I think that I’ve never been to a thoroughbred track.
Is it normal to be able to blunder over to the paddock and be this close to the best jockeys in the world getting a leg up?

Nice!

great access, great vid 👏

RIDERS - UP!
Is this normal? Is it like this everywhere?

I ask because I don’t know

all of the flat tracks i've visited allow it, yes ... best is Belmont, easiest is Aqueduct ... most intimate being Monmouth.

aside ... what took ya so long to finally hit a track?

Closest tracks to us are 4+ hours away.
Kids, grandkids, life always were more important. Wife and I are empty nesting now and trying to do the things we never really could before

Great stuff! 👍

14/1 shot, ten booted a 9/1 home in the 2nd ... the DD DD paid handsomely.

****ing weather at Saratoga all meet long. What a bummer

has not been the best of meets up there this summer, tbh - hoping this back end tightens up ... the weather is always a thorn, it is the rainy season up there, Mother Nature is nothing if not consistent.

has thrown the 'capping off a bit more than usual, though - tougher time this meet. we had some monster scores early on (Becky's Joker was a straight  haul and the highlight of the year) - focused more on the horizontals afterwards, with minimal r.o.i - without our early cushion it woulda been brutal.

Del Mar has had a very goodt run thus far - 'capping buddy is handling most of that end of our summer, and doing ok - head is above water there, at least ... but the Spa has been much more unforgiving, sans the early hits.

anyways ...

some fine Stakes action today - we are unloading on the #1 Mondego in the Spa Stakes Inv, race 9 on the spinach - STAY. DRY. FAST. FIRM.

The Whitney follows that one - Codys Wish 1/2 ml fave, but i loved what i saw outta Charge It in his last out ... CW will prolly occupy a ton of free parking squares on the spreads, but if he gonna falter, Charge It is very capable and in the finest form of his career - also got Zandy & White Abby up in there, who i hope take enuff ancillary money to possibly gimme better than the 5/1 ml on Charge It ... gonna take the swing.

gonna load up on that #1/#2 Stakes double and hope for some bingo.

Hambletonian Day out at the 'dowlands in the Jersey Swamp - for the Standardbred players - will be getting hold of the program shortly, will be looking to plunk some on the sulkys and breakers today.

Ya, looking forward to the card at the Big M today myself.

Really poured yesterday afternoon on an already saturated Saratoga. I don’t think it will be firm today even if it doesn’t rain, hope I’m wrong

my ONE trusted angle with the Standardbreds, especially at the 'dowlands:

they consistently run 10 entry fields ... what i look for to pound are a horse who in their previous outing came home in the last panel at a sub :28 from an outside post (7,8,9,10) - if said entrant draws honest (1-5 holes, i never play the #6), then i two fist it - if there are multiple options in a race that fit my criteria, i pass. i try to get the one horse that is prolly sitting on a yuuuge one, not interested in spreading at this oval.

love to see that :27.2 final panel from the 10 hole last out on the #3 horse, e.g.

it has served me well.

ETA: horse gotta be at least 4/1 to seal the deal.

Wasn’t thinking this morning…free pps at thebigm.com every day

Miller breaks the #7 out into the American Dream Mall and never threatened. as sh1t a ride as i've seen in this circuit in years ... the 6 dove right in to the engine, and Miller never asked the 7 to lift a f****** hoof.

awful. absolute trash.

interesting that in race 2 here 4 of the 5 entrants have the same sire, Captaintreacherous - all stepsisters runnin' against each other, except the big favorite, who is outta Always B Miki
