OK it sounds more like it's one guy now, not 2 or 3. Came into a conference room and started firing. Assault rifle, bullet proof vest.

I'm not seeing that anywhere? Where did you get that info?OK it sounds more like it's one guy now, not 2 or 3. Came into a conference room and started firing. Assault rifle, bullet proof vest.

That's gonna hurt the CNN NYPD expert saying this is something "we've never seen before in the United States" narrative.OK it sounds more like it's one guy now, not 2 or 3. Came into a conference room and started firing. Assault rifle, bullet proof vest.

Apparently the conference room was being rented for the day by an outside group.OK it sounds more like it's one guy now, not 2 or 3. Came into a conference room and started firing. Assault rifle, bullet proof vest.

yeah, I am listening to it too. The name was the witness who said someone was acting oddly. Don't think he wants that known to everyone listening. It is still mind boggling to me that police scanners are public. There's 85k people listening to the one I'm on and they just read a witness name and driver's license number over the air. Witness said he had a name and rough age of possible suspect who was at the Center "acting weird", left 20-30 mins before shooting, matches description of shooter.

So you think we should torture people to get info?I wouldnt be against it.....of course, I doubt Mr. Manback and I would agree on much.Of course people would be, and should be.Say they hypothetically detained one of the shooters (as some are reporting), would anyone be against immediate torture to identify the others and where they may be?![]()
That's the witness name, not the suspect. They read his DL# and phone number over the scanner... poor guy.XXXX is the suspect name on radio.
Just heard that too. So maybe this has nothing to do with the disabled, but is related to whoever rented the space.Apparently the conference room was being rented for the day by an outside group.OK it sounds more like it's one guy now, not 2 or 3. Why? If someone had information that could save dozens of other lives (after they just killed some innocent people), you would be opposed to sticking his balls in a vice until he shared? I personally don't understand this line of thinking.Of course people would be, and should be.Say they hypothetically detained one of the shooters (as some are reporting), would anyone be against immediate torture to identify the others and where they may be?
Delete your post..That's the witness name, not the suspect. They read his DL# and phone number over the scanner... poor guy.XXXX is the suspect name on radio.
edited... anyone who quoted me, pls edit. thxsoulfly, I think that was the witness and probably would delete the name.
No, I'd let him sit in a cell and remain mum because of his rights while innocent people die.So you think we should torture people to get info?I wouldnt be against it.....of course, I doubt Mr. Manback and I would agree on much.Of course people would be, and should be.Say they hypothetically detained one of the shooters (as some are reporting), would anyone be against immediate torture to identify the others and where they may be?![]()
Because torture doesn't work? Because we gave up that line of thinking decades if not centuries ago?
For me because of the precedent. I don't want police with the responsibility of making that decision. It would surely be abused. Why? If someone had information that could save dozens of other lives (after they just killed some innocent people), you would be opposed to sticking his balls in a vice until he shared? That part of town isn't that bad. A lot of offices and restaurants, no?Man, this one hits close to home. Used to live out that way and still have friends and family in that area. Had a friend just a couple blocks away when the shooting started, they could hear it go down. San Bernardino isn't a great area but can't even wrap my head around this one right now. Thoughts and wishes to the victims.
Yeah, that particular part of SB is fine, but it gets dicey not much further out. That part of town isn't that bad. A lot of offices and restaurants, no?Man, this one hits close to home. Chock FullThen go to CNN or Fox or any number of dedicated sites to this story. This is a message board chalk full of people with opinions. Some of us are ####### tired of mass shootings and a country that does absolutely nothing to stem the tide of machine guns, assault rifles and all other sorts of mass killing machinery into the hands of the wrong people. We're all pissed off and want it to stop. Don't get all pissy when emotions run high and opinions are vocalized.
probably not a joy ride with that pattern...for sure.DHS plane orbiting the area: http://www.flightradar24.com/8266504
T&P, that sucks.A really good friend of mine regularly works with folk at that facility. She's trying to figure out if any of her friends, clients, or coworkers were affected.![]()
