2 round mock draft in the books ! (1 Viewer)

2.08 Buffalo Bills - Ko Simpson, SS, South Carolina - A tough young replacement for Lawyer Milloy. Simpson racked up 200 tackles and 7 picks in just two years of play. He's a little inexperienced, but the production cannot be ignored.

2.09 Detroit Lions - On the clock, took Justice, OT, first round...

A trade? Link please?

As far as I know the first pick trade is beginning round three... NO to Houston...
looks like I'm wrong. :banned: Crap. I want to get this right. Let's regroup with GBN's order. It should change very little in the way of picks... I hope...

They had Earl Holmes at MLB last year.. so Hodge would be a good pick. There secondary sucks and Marshall is a stud.. so that would be a good one too. The lions suck.

I may miss the Lions pick since I'm leaving for home now, but when their pick comes seriously consider secondary help.

I'll be back for teh middle rounds. Good stuff.

maybe Ko to Detroit instead of Buff?or another secondary guy a better fit?

I won't complain. Which is a bigger need. SS or CB?

Phones have me occupied. We did these picks in an hour or so, so we're making good enough time. I'll need a 45 minute break around 11:30 PST... an hour and fifteen minutes to push through to 2.20...

CB is a bigger need here than SS. Marshall Marshall Marshall

2.08 Detroit Lions - Richard Marshall, CB, Fresno State - Marshall was under the radar at Fresno State, but he supports the run reminiscent of Antoine Winfield and he single handedly took Dwayne Jarrett out of the game against USC. He is as solid and complete a corner as you can find in a rookie. I great addition to the Lions' secondary, and Andy loves him.

2.09 Arizona Cardinals - They may be the best player for Ko, but Adrian Wilson plays as much SS as FS. Ko can stay with the Bills if you prefer another position for AZ. OL, DL, lots of holes on this team. They took LenDale White in round 1. Lutui would be interesting, Spencer too...

Detroit has been unable to plug their holes at safety in free agency so maybe they do take Ko Simpson here?

Sinorice Moss or Dominic Byrd would add weapons to their team as well. Sinorice could be a Galloway type if Marinelli wants to use some TB stuff.

We're too slow right now. I'm going Lutui unless a quick protest for the TE wins me over.
I think they should go with the TE pick. They were the worst team in the league in the red zone by far last year.

2.09 Arizona Cardinals, Deuce Lutui, G, USC - LenDale White gets the guy that helped him run for 21 Tds last season. Lutui is a terrific athlete who may end up at tackle before he is done.

2.11 Cleveland - OTC - Took Bunkley in round one.

I'd vote for best available DB or LB. They are interested in pass rushers too. If I remember the Q and A, they were more interested in addressing the front 7 than anything else. Bunkley is a good start. I'd lean LB. Howard falling to far? Hodge up next?
