Sorry , that one was too easy. 
You mean the Defense should have stop playing??? Last time I checked there are three aspects of a team: Offense, Defense, Special Teams. Oh, and Green may not have noticed, but there are 60 minutes in a game. The Bears Defense and Offense played horribly in the first qtr, then , as most good teams do, the defense made adjustments and shut down and tore apart the cards in the 2nd half. They never gave up, and kept playing to the end, unlike the Cardinals.
Probably not, as it's only been done once, the odds are definitely against team that tries.they will not go undefeated....

Holt is a nightmare for that Defense. The Bears struggle against speedy WRs who run crisp routes with good open field moves. See Steve Smith in the playoff game & reg season game last year, and Boldin last week. Also recall how they were torched by Antonio Bryant last year...

They will be doing well to take 2 of the 3 road games in weeks 10-12: Giants, Jets, Pats. Even with the "padded" schedule da Bears will lose a couple games minimum finishing 14-2 or 13-3.

lmfao, there is not a 'bears hate'...it is just hilarious to see all the 'Bears the greatest team ever?!' threads disappear now that they have been exposed for the team that they are, which is a good team in a weak division that plays an easy schedule. They are obviously not a great team, but what is even more hilarious is watching all the Bears homers come out of the woodwork to defend the team.

Pure jealousy because the Bears are the charter team of the NFL and have a great history. Bad team or good team- all NFL teams and their fans just view playing the Bears as one of the high points of their season. When you are special you get the love and the hate!

I'm with you bro. Bears fans finally get a team they can be proud of, and everyone wants to pee on their parade. So a couple of Chicago homers went overboard? Gee, that NEVER happens with fans of other teams.
And what's with everybody pooh-poohing the reasons why they're winning? I guess the only way the Bears will get any amount of respect is if they do the following:--Play a 16 game schedule all on the road against every playoff team and Super Bowl winner for the past 5 years. --Beat said teams by at least 50 points, holding them scoreless with zero yards gained. --Score offensive touchdowns on the first play of every drive and on every special teams play.--Never make a mistake.Whatever folks. But regardless of schedule, miracle plays, or numerous turnovers in one game, 6-0 says everything that needs to be said.

The Bears line is built from the inside out with Kruetz, the Giants D line is just the opposite with Osi and Strahan outside. It's not strength vs strength at all IMO. As I said I think Pierce will handle the run game but I could see the Bears line pushing em' up the gut. However, who is gonna deal with Strahan and Osi when they have to pass? I think it'll be a well fought tug of war battle and am anxious to see it.Re the fins- I think Saban is a good D mind and he'll give Rex some probs but he'll settle down just fine. I expect Joey to throw safe passes all day as Saban inadvertently throws a ton of respect to the Bears D. No way I'd have Joey do anything but play conservative against that D. The Giants were supposed to have this ferocious pass rush but started the season "dead". Now they're awake with their 7 sacks last week. Without the sacks, their D was terrible. The whole D scheme is predicated on pressuring the QB.
If they can handle the pass rush and score enough, the Bears will win. I think it's that simple with Grossman or any young(little experience) QB.
The Bears are one of few teams that can match all the Giants offensive weapons with their D but they'll have their hands full. It appears that teams are taking the short sideline passes to try and confuse and move the integral pieces of the defensive secondary. The defense will have to get up on Manning the way the Panthers did last year in that playoff romp. The offense must be patient and pound the ball- wear their lines down. This is going to be a great game but e have a lot of games to go! Cannot wait....

I think the Bears are a very good defensive team with a mediocre at best offense (although the emergence of Berrian and the replacement of Orton with Grossman puts them in a better position than they were in last year). The loss of Mike Brown will bring them back to the pack with regard to how much better they were on defense than the rest of the league. They will still be an incredibly tough defense, but now there is a ***** in the armor.

They could easily lose to the Giants, Pats, and Rams. It is not out of the realm of possibility that they could struggle with the Lions and Packers (I know that sounds crazy, but without Brown I feel they will be susceptible to play action and pass happy teams).
In reality though, I only see 1 or 2 losses on the schedule followed by a second round loss in the playoffs.

I don't get this. If they get home field in the playoffs then they have a great shot at making the SB. The passing game is worlds apart from the one they had last year with Orton.

Last year, the Bears lost to the Panthers in large part because two different cornerbacks tripped or stumpled on two big plays to Steve Smith. In addition, Rex Grossman was starting his 3rd game of his season and 9th game of his career.By the time the playoffs starts, Grossman will have started 25 games in his career. The Bears special teams has experienced a huge improvement over last year. The Bears defense found an additional pass rusher in Mark Anderson and improved at FS and nickel CB in Manning and Manning. As for Mike Brown, he is a team leader but is a shell of his former self and the dropoff will not be large and that position will continually get better as the season progresses. Berrian is healthy and is much more than a deep target. Desmond Clark is a great target now. Their running game needs to improve but there is no reason to think it won't be as good as last year when it gets going.
Grossman played like crap in his first playoff game but rebounded to get the Bears back in the game and was a couple plays away from putting the game in overtime. He played like crap for most of the Viking game and yet calmly completed the passes to take the lead at the end of the game. Arizona was his worst game ever but he remained confident during the game and was apologetic yet upbeat after the game.
I have no doubt he will rebound. Will he have another bad game? Most likely. But it won't be this bad and hopefully it isn't in the playoffs. Because if he doesn't have a bad game in the playoffs, the Bears will be in Miami.

I'm extremely biased, but I'll guess some team will beat the Bears next August in a preseason game. The Bears will attribute the fluke win to the fact that they played slow due to the weight of the massive super bowl rings they should have taken off during the game.
