QB - Jon Kitna - 14

QB - Matt Schaub - 13

QB - Kurt Warner - 5

Wasn't comfortable with Schaub/Warner alone so I added Kitna late. Cutler has the same bye as Schaub so I didn't like that pairing. QB by committee article has Houston/Arizona as a great pairing.

Strongly considered Brees, Young and Ryan.

RB - Darren McFadden - 29

RB - Michael Turner - 28

RB - Chris Johnson - 14

RB - Ray Rice - 4

RB - Steve Slaton - 1

Took the top two because you have to differentiate yourself from the back if you are truly going to win it all, IMO. I have not seen many mentions of either of these two. The bottom three were obvious values. I think Ricky Williams value lies more in the early part of the season when Ronnie Brown gets up to speed and you win this contest in weeks 14-16.

Strongly considered SJackson, Gore, Barber, MJD, Portis, Grant and Johnathan Stewart.

WR - Calvin Johnson - 25

WR - Brandon Marshall - 23

WR - Steve Smith - 23

WR - Marvin Harrison - 20

WR - Robert Meachem - 6

WR - Jerry Porter - 5

WR - DeSean Jackson - 4

LOVE this group. Three of the top four should score for me every week. Meachum and Jackson will have many up and down weeks...perfect for this format. I think Porter will surprise people as the season goes on. I am thin the first week, but I only have to outlast 600 or so teams and then Marshall and likely Porter are back.

Strongly considered Cotchery, Driver, Curry, Hagen and Courtney Taylor.

TE - Todd Heap - 15

TE - Alge Crumpler - 11

TE - Anthony Fasano - 3

Went with a third TE over an eighth WR because of the 1.5 PPR.

Strongly considered Winslow, Gonzo, Scheffler, LJ Smith, Carlson and Keller.

PK - Kris Brown - 2

PK - Rian Lindell - 1

TD - Carolina Panthers - 3

TD - Miami Dolphins - 1

Defense by committee likes this pairing.

Strongly considered Minnesota.

IF you survive Week 10 without Romo, Portis, Mason, Witten and your #1 D....Having over 40% of your budget on Bye in a week where the cut projects to be pretty deep is not a good thing.

I seem to remember Greg Kellogg posting about a survivor draft years ago in which he had done some analysis that showed that point production was much improved by adding a third player at the single starter positions (in this case QB, TE, K, TD), but I can't find the relevant posts. I think he was posting specifically about kicker and defense, but it makes logical sense to me for any single starter position, particularly given the need to cover bye weeks. So I wanted to go with 3 at each of those positions. But I also wanted 5 RBs and 6 WRs, which meant I was one position short... so I took two top kickers and went with only 2 at that position, and met my target number of players at each of the other positions.

My team:

QB - Jay Cutler - 14

QB - Kurt Warner - 5

QB - Matt Ryan - 4

Kind of surprised not to see Cutler on more teams; he is a likely top 8 QB at a reasonable price. Warner has been discussed enough - big upside for low cost. I think Ryan will surprise with a few big games this year. Ryan and Warner have the same bye week - week 7 - so hopefully Cutler will play well that week. And Cutler's bye week is week 8, so I have to hope Warner holds the starting job at least that long to give me two options that week.

RB - Clinton Portis - 33

RB - Ryan Grant - 32

RB - Ricky Williams - 8

RB - Ray Rice - 4

RB - Steve Slaton - 1

It seems that Williams, Rice, and Slaton are among the most owned players, so no discussion needed on them. Portis and Grant seemed like two solid anchors for this group at reasonable prices. Portis and Rice have the same bye week - week 10 - and Grant and Slaton have the same bye week - week 8.

WR - Calvin Johnson - 25

WR - Brandon Marshall - 23

WR - Steve Smith - 23

WR - Ted Ginn - 13

WR - Jabar Gaffney - 7

WR - Antonio Bryant - 2

Surprised more people did not go for both Marshall and Smith. I am gambling that I'll be able to get through the first two weeks without them, but if I do, I think both of them will be top 10 performers the rest of the way - good value. I figured if the rest of my team isn't good enough to get me to week 3, then it was a lost cause anyway.

I am also surprised that Gaffney is not on more teams at his price. I thought the news of Jackson getting cut bumped his value considerably.

Unfortunately, Calvin Johnson, Ginn, and Gaffney all have byes in week 4. I missed that... hope it doesn't kill my chances.

TE - Todd Heap - 15

TE - L.J. Smith - 12

TE - Alge Crumpler - 11

I may have overspent here, but at least it's possible for TE to fill the flex spot... although if that is happening on a regular basis, that's probably not a good sign... I think all of these guys are top 15 TEs, and their combined scoring should be equivalent to a top 5 TE. At least, that's my theory. No overlapping bye weeks.

PK - Nick Folk - 5

PK - Nate Kaeding - 4

As mentioned above, couldn't go with a third here, so instead I took two top kickers. They have different bye weeks.

TD - Arizona Cardinals - 3

TD - Buffalo Bills - 3

TD - Cleveland Browns - 3

3 underrated defenses that will hopefully combine for good scoring. No overlapping bye weeks.

I plugged this team into DD with the latest projections and looked at weekly scoring, using starters only with strength of schedule factored in. It shows me scoring below 130 points only twice - weeks 2 and 8. However, it still has Marshall not playing in week 2, so that score could come up. Anyway, weeks 2 and 8 look like my most likely weeks to miss the cut. If I were to make it all 16 weeks, DD projects this team to score 2227 points. I have no idea how that compares to other teams here or in past years.

I really like my team...

QB - Tony Romo - 23

QB - Kurt Warner - 5

QB - Matt Ryan - 4

I'm pretty solid at QB for a full season.

RB - LaDainian Tomlinson - 60

RB - Marion Barber III - 40

RB - Ricky Williams - 8

RB - Ray Rice - 4

RB - Steve Slaton - 1

LT and MBIII are my go to guys every week, with some upside backing it up.

WR - Marques Colston - 30

WR - Brandon Marshall - 23

WR - Steve Smith - 23

WR - Derek Hagan - 4

WR - DeSean Jackson - 4

WR - Courtney Taylor - 3

WR - Steve Breaston - 1

I wanted the risk of the suspensions due to the lack of cuts after week 1/2 of this contest. I think DeSean, C.Taylor, etc will produce enough to get me through.

TE - Anthony Fasano - 3

TE - Dustin Keller - 2

I went cheap at TE, but in Pennington and Favre, I know I have 2 QB's who utilize their TE's pretty well. Not to mention Parcells loves Fasano already.

PK - Mike Nugent - 1

PK - Olindo Mare - 1

PK - Jason Hanson - 1

Just looking for one decent kicker per week, nothing great.

TD - Minnesota Vikings - 8

TD - Miami Dolphins - 1

Putting my eggs in the MIN defensive basket here.

I put some decent faith in the Cowboys, but that's pretty simple. Week 10, I have Warner vs. SF and Ryan vs. NO...so I hope one is playing and does well enough. Week 9, I'm without LT, Steve Smith and Colston...so I'll need the rest of the crew to step up big...but I would assume a lot of lower scoring in a week with SD, NO, Car and SF on bye...those teams all have decent fantasy producers.

Should have just started off with

K Warner

S Slaton

R Williams

R Rice

B Marshall

And let us fill out the rest from there.

There are a few "top guys" missing from these lists it seems.
Funny, I've got all of those guys:QB - Tony Romo - 23

QB - Kurt Warner - 5

RB - Steven Jackson - 50

RB - Ricky Williams - 8

RB - Ray Rice - 4

RB - Steve Slaton - 1

WR - Torry Holt - 32

Problem is, week 10 might kill me if Warner's not in the lineup for whatever reason.

We'll see. If he's in there for me...strong team.

QB - Tony Romo - 23

QB - Donovan McNabb - 16

Kind of iffy here only going with two guys but I think these guys are going to be strong. Probably should've grabbed Warner as my 3 but the deal was closes before I thought about it.

RB - Maurice Jones-Drew - 34

RB - Clinton Portis - 33

RB - Kevin Smith - 23

RB - Fred Taylor - 18

RB - Ricky Williams - 8

RB - Steve Slaton - 1

MJD and Fred have the ability to bust HUGE games off at any point. The problem with starting these guys in conventional leagues is you can never predict those big games. Here, I get the big game no matter what because of the scoring system. I think Portis will be a monster and Kevin Smith is just a solid play IMO. RW and Slaton are just wishful thinking

WR - Brandon Marshall - 23

WR - Steve Smith - 23

WR - Donald Driver - 16

WR - Muhsin Muhammad - 5

WR - Arnaz Battle - 4

WR - DeSean Jackson - 4

WR - Maurice Stovall - 1

Marshall and Smith? Aren't they suspended early in the season? Yes they are. And I'm guessing lots of you shied away from them. Except it is really hard to get knocked out in the first 2 weeks. And having Moose for 5 to fill in for Smith is a plus. I think Driver at 16 is uber value. The rest are just fliers.

TE - Ben Utecht - 5

TE - Anthony Fasano - 3

TE - Dustin Keller - 2

Lots of value at cheap TE's in this year's contest.

PK - Mike Nugent - 1

PK - Matt Prater - 1

TD - Tennessee Titans - 3

TD - Philadelphia Eagles - 3

K's and D's? Don't really care...Prater seems like a steal at 1

QB - Aaron Rodgers - 15

QB - Matt Ryan - 4

RB - LaDainian Tomlinson - 60

RB - Adrian Peterson - 53

RB - Felix Jones - 11

RB - Ricky Williams - 8

RB - Steve Slaton - 1

RB - T.J. Duckett - 1

WR - Terrell Owens - 36

WR - Brandon Marshall - 23

WR - Robert Meachem - 6

WR - Antwaan Randle El - 4

Posted my roster a couple of pages back, and we have a lot of the same players. I agree with you on being suprised more teams not having Gaffney. I have CJ, Marshall, and Smith as well, but I also threw in Cotchery instead of having big ticket TEs. I went with different RBs and took Romo instead of Cutler. Who knows what will happen..that's all part of the fun!!

They might not enforce it, but you better believe If (for some crazy reason) end up being #2 behind the winner, who posted his team after 11:59ET, you BET your butt that I will be suing....

FOR those of YOU that CHANGED your teams after 11:59ET last night, I hope you realize that if you win you WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PRIZE....

I don't think they have ever enforced the rule as long as the system allows a resubmit. The only DQ's have come from people who have manipulated the system to allow their team over the cap (several years ago).At least nobody can complain about submitting right at the deadline and just missing, then begging for mercy, they had somewhere near 5 extra hours from the looks of things.
I submitted mine on time, but if someone else submitted theirs at 1AM just how the heck would you even know?Even if your hypothetical were to play itself out good luck with that, whether you would be successful or not that's exactly the type of incident that could kill the contest.

There is absolutely no obligation for FBGs to even have this contest in the first place. Yet you're willing to sue them over it.
I think the easy solution is for them to just refund his subscription and be done with him. Problem solved. People like him are the reason that we now have over a million lawyers and have the term "lawyer up".
I'm a lawyer and I agree with this.

I think I may be in trouble weeks 9 and 10 (if I even last that long) since that is when LT and Romo have byes. Warner needs to keep the job in Week 10 or I am in trouble. In hindsight I may have done it differently since the cuts do become more difficult to make in the later weeks. Oh well. We'll see what happens.....

No
Each selection has a different cap value, but all teams must remain at or under the $250 cap. Note: Even though the software should show you if you are within the cap, it is your responsibility to ensure you have a team that is valued at $250 or less. Teams that have spent more than the $250 will be disqualified in week 1.

As I look through the various submissions, this team looks like it has a chance to be a good one.
Based on what?It doesn't look good to me at all. Absolutely awful at RB makes it tough to win here.
Better hope those WR's blow up every week (which they usually don't). Lots of options at RB and no real studs. Lots of possible value with the RB picks, but no slam dunks to offset the short WR staff with possible down weeks.
Yeah, my RBs suck. Looks like Slanton / Booker / Rice / Washington / Ricky have all been popular picks. My strategy was to get 2 solid TEs since they are 1.5 pts per reception. Moss is the only stud I paid for. Compared to the other top WR, Coth & Calvin presented great value.I think between Kitna / Cutler / Garcia someone should put up starter numbers...As always my  spirit has shown for the Bucs with picks like Stovall / Bryant / Garcia

Ysatnaf_Gnik - did you read the rules? Specifically, the release and consent provisions?

FWIW, given the large number of QB1/Warner/Ryan rosters, Warner and Ryan share the same buy week (7).

I actually went with Romo/Warner/Orton for that reason. Now THAT's over-analysis. :useless:

No, just has to be less than $251. Does HAVE to be 22 players, though. (I almost screwed that up)

Marshall and Smith? :useless: Aren't they suspended early in the season? Yes they are. And I'm guessing lots of you shied away from them. Except it is really hard to get knocked out in the first 2 weeks.
 You might want to peruse this thread a bit.

I think 90% of teams have at least one of those two on them if not both.

FWIW, given the large number of QB1/Warner/Ryan rosters, Warner and Ryan share the same buy week (7). I actually went with Romo/Warner/Orton for that reason. Now THAT's over-analysis.
So, in Week 7 it's no different than if you went with 2 QB's. You'd still have to rely on QB1 alone that week. But, in other weeks, you have an extra shot with 2 QB's for the same (or less) money than if you had gone with only 1 average-priced QB. Orton solves that slight problem, but somehow Ryan feels "safer".

So what's the final tally on this thing? How many are in?I couldn't find it posted anywhere.
I think I saw earlier were someone posted around 12,600.That means only 600 teams will be cut after week 1. I'm guessing that will primarily be invalid rosters.

I would think the invalid rosters will be disposed of even before the first weeks cuts.

Ysatnaf_Gnik - did you read the rules? Specifically, the release and consent provisions?
You can't possibly believe I was actually being serious ;)
Nice backpedal. Where did you get that law license? Hamline or cracker jack?

I am fine with my roster. Took a lot of the same guys I see everyone else got, but also seems my big dogs were a bit different, which I was hoping for. having the same entries as everyone else seems to be a recipe to get bounced in Week 10, which I did the last two years.

QB - Jay Cutler - 14

QB - Jeff Garcia - 8

QB - Kurt Warner - 5

I thought Garcia was value, he's the guy I am rooting for to separate myself.

RB - Marshawn Lynch - 40

RB - Darren McFadden - 29

RB - Earnest Graham - 26

RB - Michael Bush - 3

RB - Steve Slaton - 1

Casting my lot with the the rookie and Ernie Graham.

WR - Torry Holt - 32

WR - Brandon Marshall - 23

WR - Steve Smith - 23

WR - Jabar Gaffney - 7

WR - Kevin Walter - 6

WR - Jerry Porter - 5

WR - Antonio Bryant - 2

I like my wideouts a lot. Like all the other vets of this contest, early suspensions didn't scare me off, and Holt looks like he might be on few teams.

TE - Zach Miller - 15

TE - Dustin Keller - 2

they share the same week, but it's early. My TEs are weak, but I didn't like the value at the position.

PK - Mike Nugent - 1

Early bye week as well, and I'd rather take a shot with an extra defense.

TD - Philadelphia Eagles - 3

TD - Houston Texans - 2

TD - New Orleans Saints - 2

TD - Cincinnati Bengals - 1

I need a big defensive showing each week, and I figure I should get it.

Yeah, I know. I rationalized Orton by talking myself into thinking that although Ryan will probably be the better NFL QB, Orton will have more opportunities for multi-TD games (see long kick returns and ball-hawkiing defense), assuming he keeps his job (:crickets:).

Kind of surprised not to see Cutler on more teams; he is a likely top 8 QB at a reasonable price. Warner has been discussed enough - big upside for low cost. I think Ryan will surprise with a few big games this year. It seems that Williams, Rice, and Slaton are among the most owned players, so no discussion needed on them. Portis and Grant seemed like two solid anchors for this group at reasonable prices. Portis and Rice have the same bye week - week 10 - and Grant and Slaton have the same bye week - week 8.Surprised more people did not go for both Marshall and Smith. I am gambling that I'll be able to get through the first two weeks without them, but if I do, I think both of them will be top 10 performers the rest of the way - good value.
:bag: QB - Jay Cutler - 14QB - Jake Delhomme - 12QB - Kurt Warner - 5RB - Clinton Portis - 33RB - Michael Turner - 28RB - Chris Johnson - 14RB - Maurice Morris - 11RB - Ricky Williams - 8RB - Steve Slaton - 1WR - Santonio Holmes - 24WR - Brandon Marshall - 23WR - Jerricho Cotchery - 23WR - Steve Smith - 23WR - Steve Smith - 5WR - DeSean Jackson - 4WR - Steve Breaston - 1TE - Alge Crumpler - 11TE - Anthony Fasano - 3PK - Robbie Gould - 2PK - Mike Nugent - 1TD - Houston Texans - 2TD - New Orleans Saints - 2I might have considered a 3rd TD or TE, but liked the QB trio and felt the need to have depth at WR. Some risks, but you have to take risks here.

Posted earlier, but here's my rationale....critique at will as it's welcome!

(4) QB - Jon Kitna - 14

(8) QB - Matt Schaub - 13

(7) QB - Kurt Warner - 5

Wanted to go with 3 QBs with different bye weeks to maximize the chance one will have a good/great game each week. All thee have studs at one (or both) WR positions and Detroit and Arizona (possibly Houston) will be playing from behind a bit, ergo more passing opportunities.

(9) RB - Frank Gore - 49

(8) RB - Selvin Young - 21

(5) RB - Thomas Jones - 21

(6) RB - Chris Johnson - 14

In retrospect, another RB may have been a good move, but as it is now I've got one workhorse (Gore, who I haven't seen on many teams...wonder why with PPR scoring?), one potential steal (Jones if Favre can keep opposing D's honest) and 2 who will get a majority/at least half the carries with big-play potential. Again, no bye week conflicts, so my best 2 (or 3) will get me points each week. In addition, I avoided (right word?) the Williams/Rice/Slaton triumvirate that is populating a large percentage of teams which gives me some uniquness.

(6) WR - Santonio Holmes - 24

(10) WR - Patrick Crayton - 13

(5) WR - Donte Stallworth - 12

(8) WR - Kevin Walter - 6

(4) WR - Steve Smith - 5

(7) WR - DeSean Jackson - 4

My theory at WR was to get guys who will potentially get a bunch of looks or have big-play ability. this, IMO, is my weakest position, but has potential. I also never have 2 WRs off at the same time, again maximizing potential for 3 or 4 to put up decent numbers. I also avoided (again, right word?) Carolina's Smith and Marshall as many teams seem to have those to...another small, but possibly important, distinguishing characteristic for my team.

(9) TE - Vernon Davis - 16

(7) TE - L.J. Smith - 12

(8) TE - Ben Utecht - 5

Noticing a trend with the bye weeks? I fully expect L.J. to be a top-tier TE this year with the injuries to the Phil. WR corps. McNabb should look to him early in the season and then all year if he earns his trust. Davis is (hopefully) another receiver if Martz uses him to his potential and Utecht is a flyer I'm taking assuming Cincy is as unpredictable as many are predicting. He just may be an asset here or there.

(8) PK - Mason Crosby - 3

(10) PK - Matt Stover - 2

(8) PK - Matt Prater - 1

Went with 3 kickers to maximize points...if I make it to week 8, I may need a big game from Stover though!

(7) TD - Jacksonville Jaguars - 5

(6) TD - Buffalo Bills - 3

(9) TD - New Orleans Saints - 2

DTBC with the addition of JAX to combat the potential matching of others rosters....I think JAX should be a formidable defense this year, too!

Week 8 seems to be the week I need to get through to have the best chance as at least one from each position is off that week (except DST). With 6 teams off, I'm hoping others have similar situations.

What do you guys think?

Hey alright another Kyle Orton owner, I thought I was the only one.
I had picked ryan (realizing that both garrard and warner share a buy)...until I saw post turn in that Ryan has the same bye week too. :hifive:

QB - Matt Schaub - 13 -------------- 8QB - Kurt Warner - 5 ---------------- 7QB - Matt Ryan - 4 ------------------ 7RB - Marion Barber III - 40 -------- 10RB - Clinton Portis - 33 ------------- 10RB - Maurice Morris - 11 ------------ 4RB - Ray Rice - 4 -------------------- 10RB - Steve Slaton - 1 --------------- 8WR - Larry Fitzgerald - 35 ---------- 7WR - Calvin Johnson - 25 ----------- 4WR - Jerricho Cotchery - 23 -------- 5WR - Ted Ginn - 13 ------------------ 4WR - Darrell Jackson - 5 ------------ 8WR - Muhsin Muhammad - 5 ------- 9WR - Nate Washington - 3 ---------- 6TE - Randy McMichael - 12 --------- 5TE - Visanthe Shiancoe - 4 --------- 8PK - Matt Stover - 2 ----------------- 10PK - Mike Nugent - 1 ---------------- 5TD - Minnesota Vikings - 8 ---------- 8TD - New Orleans Saints - 2 -------- 9TD - St. Louis Rams - 1 ------------- 5
I'm okay with the byes. Week 10 is money for me.

Well, for what it is worth, here is my team for the quest for the cash. I am gambled by possibly overpaying on the TE position. But that is my stategy this year.I like the 1.5pts per reception. Last year I went heavy on the RB position which included S. Jackson (big disappointment). I made it to the final cut down week but didnt get into the playoffs. I didnt want to risk a ton of money on one player again.

QB - Donovan McNabb - 16

QB - Jay Cutler - 14

RB - Ryan Grant - 32

RB - Willie Parker - 23

RB - Thomas Jones - 21

RB - Steve Slaton - 1

WR - Brandon Marshall - 23

WR - Jerricho Cotchery - 23

WR - Steve Smith - 23

WR - Darrell Jackson - 5

WR - DeSean Jackson - 4

WR - Devery Henderson - 2

WR - Steve Breaston - 1

TE - Jason Witten - 31

PK - Mike Nugent - 1

PK - Rian Lindell - 1

PK - Shaun Suisham - 1

TD - Houston Texans - 2

TD - Atlanta Falcons - 1

TD - Detroit Lions - 1

QB - Jake Delhomme - 12

QB - Kurt Warner - 5

QB - Matt Ryan - 4

I really like Delhomme, this could be the death of my team per what alot of people have said, but I love the guy, as soon as Smith gets back, I figured Warner could hold down his starting gig for two weeks while I wait for Smith to return and then Delhomme starts going off (hope)

RB - Marion Barber III - 40

RB - Thomas Jones - 21

RB - Chris Johnson - 14

RB - Ricky Williams - 8

RB - Steve Slaton - 1

alot of the same, Barber is my anchor, hopefully good value on everyone else, and I hope Chris Johnson pulls off an occasional big day to compliment

WR - Plaxico Burress - 29

WR - Brandon Marshall - 23

WR - Steve Smith - 23

WR - Marvin Harrison - 20

WR - Nate Burleson - 18

WR - Antonio Bryant - 2

I was a little surprised not many people had Antinio Bryant, only two bucks and he has been rumored for weeks (official as of today) tht he would be a starter, nothing big, but to have a starter for 2 should contribute. I also saw that last year everyone advanced after week one so Brandon Marshal was a no brainer I thought. and along those lines I thought that Steve Smith was worth the risk for what he has done in years past, all you have to do is get past week 2 (I think a small IF considering what I have seen in years past). Nate Burleson is another person I thought was great value considering #1 he is the only healthy WR and #2 the amount of td's the guy had last year, whether he repeats it or not, his price tag was cheap and he is the number one option for Hasselbeck whi is a solid QB. Marvin Harrison has been mentioned quite a few times.

TE - Zach Miller - 15

TE - Ben Utecht - 5

TE - Dustin Keller - 2

My big find last year was Donald Lee for $1, Brett Favre threw to him all the time in the endzone, and I loved it, so Keller for $2 was a no brainer IMO. Zach Miller was my choice since the staffers seem to be big on him. but I had the same bye week so I threw in Ben Utecht for $5

PK - Mike Nugent - 1

PK - Olindo Mare - 1

PK - Rian Lindell - 1

Quantity, not neccesarily quality, although I think Mare is a steal now that he won the starting gig for a ussually high scoring team

TD - Buffalo Bills - 3

TD - New Orleans Saints - 2

I simply went with the Def by committee article written by Chase Stuart, it worked great for me last year. so that is what I have, I hope to go a littel further than last year, I gambled on 4 new QB starters and by week 7 I think they were all on teh bench or injured, so I had no QB going into that week and lost.

Sort of forgot about 1.5 PPR for TEs and top flex position (either RB, WR or TE). Might had added some more fire power at RB.

• Someone mentioned that it's a mistake to have three QBs. I disagree. I think it's a huge mistake to only have two QBs. It's one of the highest-scoring positions on your team. If you have two QBs and lose one to injury, you are relying on one QB every week. That's no good in a best ball format.

• A bit of trivia that I read recently: Steve Smith had some of his worst games as a pro when Mushin Muhammad was with Carolina. So while Smith is a top player, I think Muhammad hurts Smith's value some.

• I don't think I'd ever draft a rookie WR in this format. Rookie WRs seem to struggle their first year.
