2010 Offseason Dynasty Trades (1 Viewer)

10 Team Dynasty, Non-IDP, Non-PPR, Standard ScoringTeam A gives up - DeAngelo Williams and a 5.10 pick (we have a 5 round rookie/free agent draft, so this is the last pick of the draft)Team B gives up - Brandon Jacobs, Sydney Rice and a 2011 1st Round PickThis trade gives Team B (4) 1st picks in 2011, he is real high on next year's draft class.
Seems to me like Team B is overpaying, considering Deangelo is no spring chicken.
Team B just got owned here as Sidney is going before DeAngelo in most drafts.

PPR/IDP

IDP players are scored VERY high: 4pts/sack, 2pts/tackle, 1pt/a-tackle

Team A gives: Shonn Greene, LeSean McCoy, Elvis Dumervil

Team B gives: Ray Rice, Pierre Thomas

In this league Doom outscored players like DWill, JStew, Holmes, Palmer last year...

That would make Rice a big time sell in my book.

Team A ripped Team B off. I wouldnt give Ray Rice by himself for those 3 players. To acquire a player the caliber of Pierre along with Ray is just icing.

You think he overpaid in the 2nd one? That's an insane amount to give up, awful deal. Should've stopped after the first.

That is the kind of trade where a year from now it will either end up being a LOT or very LITTLE for SJAX (especially if the team getting SJAX is a CONTENDER & he puts up good #'s).....

I'm the team trading SJax away. I was sick of his constant injuries, and figured I should cash out for as much as I can get now. I didn't receive a ton of offers for him, so I went with what I thought was the most value. I like Garcon, and Bush and McFadden are solid backups for deep teams like this. I barely made the playoffs last year, and the team getting SJax had the 1.03 this last year.

Team A Gets: Crabtree, Michael SFO WR, Year 2010 Draft Pick 1.02

Team B Gets: Johnson, Calvin DET WR

Non-PPR 1/10 6, 1/2/2/1/1/1 w/ RB/WR/TE Flex.

I know this is probably heresy, but I'd rather have team A's side.
I'm team A so I agree, but it was a really hard one to accept. It took a couple of days to hammer out, and we were both on the fence whether to go through with it or not.

I like it for team A. IMO Crabtree + Matthews or, better yet Bryant > Calvin

No way would I trade Calvin Johnson for that if I'm trying to win now. If I'm rebuilding I would consider it, but it's not a slam dunk I would do it then either because of the talent of Johnson and him being so young. IMO he's the sure thing with Detroit getting better. Stafford will be better, Jahvid Best makes them better, their defense is getting better, and Pettigrew will be back. I expect Calvin Johnson to have a monster season this year.

Team C Gets: Crabtree, Michael SFO WR, 1.02 & 2.08

Team A Gets: Fitzgerald, Larry ARI WR & 2.02

Same league as the above Calvin/Crab/1.02 trade.

Isn't the whole point of this thread just for trades and not really posting rosters?

I mean there's a trade that I made where I sent Hakeem Nicks and got Benson, B. Scott, and 3.10 (Carlton Mitchell) where I was short at RB's and really deep at WR. (I'd rather see I needed this and that so I traded so on and so forth, seems more productive for this thread.) This is not a thread either to post whether you made a good deal in your trade or not, we have a sub-forum for that.

:) Context is good...your league history and roster...unnecessary.

Several trades, different leagues. Standard PPR scoring for each.

Gave: Mike Wallace, 1.12

Got: Reggie Wayne

Gave: Steven Jackson

Got: Jonathan Stewart

Gave: Dez Bryant

Got: Vincent Jackson

Gave: Steven Jackson

Got: Greene/LT/Breaston

Gave: Ben Tate

Got: Donald Brown

Gave: Sam Bradford/Kevin Walters

Got: Big Ben

Devy league with 18 college players rostered every year.

Team A gets Stafford, Chad OchoCinco, Emmanuel Sanders, 2 2011 firsts round picks (assume 1.04 and 1.07)

Team B gets Romo, Miles Austin, 2011 3rd and 2011 4th.

Gave: Steven JacksonGot: Greene/LT/Breaston
Strange, as a S Greene owner, I recently turned down a similar offer in a 10 team (start 3 RB) IDP PPRGreene & Maclin for S Jax.Recent threads are discussing the (premature) demise of S Jax based on the "aging RB" concern. I turned it down as a Maclin fan, but I am not opposed to moving S Greene in a S Jax deal. I think it is a fair offer.... but not one I would accept.

Have a couple offers on the table in my 10 team dynasty league with IDPs. Pretty standard scoring across the board... I am loaded at WR (Fitz, Marshall, Jennings, Boldin, Nicks, Harvin, Rice).

First offer: Nicks for John Beason

This is a pretty fair offer and I love Beason, but he's more of a luxury item at this point than a real need as my LBs are pretty solid.

Second offer: Marshall, Boldin, & Arian Foster for Jonathan Stewart (I could really use a solid young RB, and Stewart fits the bill)

The only reason I would consider this second offer is because I am so stacked at WR, but I think that I'd be overpaying a bit for JStew, and while I could use a young stud RB, it is not a huge need (currently have AP, Moreno, Turner, Portis, Foster, Washington).

Third offer: Nicks or Jennings or Rice for Romo

This is the one I am most likely to do, as my QB's going into next season are Carson, Matt Ryan, and Josh Freeman (Warner retiring was a dagger to the heart).

I am in win now mode, going for my second straight championship, so I really need a solid QB going into next season

I don't play IDP

Seems like a bit much, but if you are huge JStew guy I guess you have to pay the price.

Rice for Romo seems to make sense (considering you have Harvin)

Even in a heavy IDP scoring league you are getting taken behind the woodshed giving up Hicks for Beason.

Not really. Besides, his name is Nicks. In any case, as I said, I haven't made the deal and likely won't.

Heh, so the trade was basically:Calvin Johnson and 2.08 for Larry Fitzgerald and 2.02.Methinks that the Fitzy side won.

Correct. What gandalas has is just my part of what ended up being like a 3-way deal. I should have made "Team B" above "Team C". Or actually "Team A" would be more accurate since he (JohnnyU) is the defending champ with a scary young elite team.
