I kinda think the QBs both suck for fantasy purposes, and Moreno is definitely > Foster, which leaves Austin and Smith. I think Smith ha s acouple WR1 years in him, and Austin may only have one before Dez takes it away. He's [Austin] already working out of the slot this year anyway...Seeing this makes me kick myself again for waiving Austin in 2008...considering what he netted.Personally I am not a huge Moreno fan I would rather have Austin but the trade seems fair.Dynasty PPR

That depends on a couple things. If Best/Bryant fall to him, it was definitely worth it. If it's a team that needs a RB, and Best doesn't fall, I don't think it was worth it.If he needs a WR, it definitely wasn't worth it, because Bryant is better than anything else in this trade. However, getting Flacco could prove to be a very nice acquisition, and 1.04 isn't that big fo a drop, as most people (not me) have Spiller in the same tier as Best/Mathews/Bryant. I think Gonzalez is a wasted player, because there's simply no room for him in Indy and he wasnt that great pre-injury anyway. The 2nd rounder, while not worth much anyway, seems like it was a bit too much to throw in. 4.03 is like a 1 in 100 shot at a starter...not worth it to me.All in all, I would have kept 1.01, or found a better deal.Who won in this trade ? Don't try to convice yourself, it was an awful trade and you know it.10 Team PPR start 1QB 2 RB 2 WR 1 TE & 2 Flex.I got accused of taking advantage of the other team. Not sure how you managed to get a first rounder, but it doesn't look THAT bad otherwise. Some people look at Norv, the fact that Rivers has never had more than 500 passign attempts, and McNeil/VJax holdouts looming plus a high pick RB in town........................................and sell a bit low.Don't try to convice yourself, it was an awful trade and you know it.10 Team PPR start 1QB 2 RB 2 WR 1 TE & 2 Flex.I got accused of taking advantage of the other team. Yeah....Jacobs and Mason = done. Cotchery = 3rd WR on a non-passing team. Dwyer = lucky to ever be anything special. Flacco = maybe a top-12 QB, if EVERYTHING swings right for him? While Rivers = a top 5 QB, and a top-4 rookie pick in next year's draft is ridiculous. What does everything think of this trade ?I am in a league where the guy wants me to give up my 1.02 plus Slaton plus 2 1st round picks in 2011 (one of which likely top 4) all for just Stewart.I said no way that was too much but he says Stewart is worth all that. Then here I see Stewart goes Straight up for the 1.02.12 team PPRTeam A sends: 1.02Team B sends Jonathan Stewart
Give me team B's side here. Anytime I can trade a QB prospect for a 1st round pick I would do it.Is there a reason a QB is worth so much ? Is this a 16 team league or something ? QB's get 12 pts per TD pass ? You must start 2 QB's ?Hasselbeck is worthless but the other players might be something but if he really does get a top 4 pick for Stafford he got a great deal.Team A gets - Matthew Stafford QB-DetTeam B gets - Matt Hasselbeck QB-SEADevin Aromashodu WR, CHIDamian Williams WR, TENDeon Butler WR, SEAJermaine Gresham TE, CIN2011 Draft, Rnd 1 (projected top 4)

This one is interesting....I've done 2 dynasty startups this year where Matthews went off the board before Stewart, but Dez went off after. I could see Stewart for the 1.1 or 1.2 and a little more. Stewart reminds me of Calvin Johnson, some people really like him and some are just meh. It was a bit of a sell cheap I suppose but makes more sense in context. This is a PPR league, and the owner of Stewart already had ADP, Grant, Forte and DeAngelo as RBs (RBs 4, 12, 13 and 17 respectively-Stewart finished 15th @ RB FWIW), whilst his WRs are Fitz, Rice, Driver, Meachem, Knox, Thomas, Jacoby Jones. So he is probably looking to consolidate his young WRs with Bryant (I am 100% sure Mathews will go 1.01 given the needs of the 1.01 owner). I would normally value Stewart as 1.02 plus a bit more, so admittedly I think I got a good deal, even if the guy was loaded with RB.This one is interesting....I've done 2 dynasty startups this year where Matthews went off the board before Stewart, but Dez went off after. I'm not trying to defending the equity of the trade but he is sour on draft picks and there is truth to there being a considerable bust rate, even at the top of "can't miss" prospects. He wan't to get rid of his picks, get some established depth at WR and diversify his WRs where he only had Nicks and Smith (NY), and I mean nothing else. Many are picking Bowe to be a bounce back player this year. It was only a year ago that he was being talked about as the next great thing and now he has Weis to draw up the game plan. Many are also picking Boldin as a target hog; gold in PPR.I mean I love Nicks and Bryant but both are competing for targets with young, top level WRs on the other side of the field while Bowe and Boldin are clearly going to be the go to guys.Well, I guess I'm deffending the equity of the trade.
I (clearly) agree with this take.It was a had trade to make because I am in "win now" mode too (defending champ), but I always try to be.I guess everyone thinks Bowe is a bust. I beg to differ. He may well be a stud still.
I like the Nicks and 1.2 side but I think Bowe is getting way undervalued right now and that will change after 3-4 weeks into the season. He is a hass and that team will feature him in the passing game no doubt. Boldin will also be a load for another 2-3 years.
If that other team is close to a title....I can see why he made that deal. That is a win now deal.
But again I do prefer the 1.2/Nicks side but it is not a slam dunk. And if Dez does not fall I would be all over Spiller. I am not a Matthews believer long term.
I think it was a very good deal for both sides....these are the kind of trades that make a dynasty so much fun. I hope you do land Bryant and Spiller....as I think those 2 are clearly the blue chip elite talent of this years crop.I (clearly) agree with this take.It was a had trade to make because I am in "win now" mode too (defending champ), but I always try to be.I guess everyone thinks Bowe is a bust. I just saw a good opportunity to get a bit younger and build my core. Probably hurt my team a bit now and helped it a lot in the long run.
I'm sitting at 1.02 and 1.06 in the rookie draft now and seeing what it will take to move up a slot or two from 1.06 to grab Bryant and Best or Spiller.
