2011 In Season Dynasty Trade Thread (2 Viewers)

10 team ppr dynasty

$120 salary cap

1QB/2RB/2WR/1Flex/1K/1DT/2DE/3LB/2CB/2S

Traded Kyle Vanden Bosh ($1 - 1 year) for Julius Thomas ($1 - 5 years) and Aaron Maybin ($2 - 3 years) Maybin was immediately bought out.

I traded Mcgahee for a 2012 2nd rounder. 12 team PPR and we keep 18 players. Not a lot, but my team is brutally bad for 2011 so just trying to get what I could.

at 2-4, decided to give up on 2011 since only four teams make the playoffs and traded my best RB that i rented for 2 weeks

12 team graded PPR, start 2RB/2WR/TE and can flex any of the three:

Traded:

Wells

Hass

Got:

2012 1st

2012 2nd

Vereen

part of my logic was that i don't want to win games the rest of the year, and Wells just may be the difference a week or two.

now have 3 1sts in 2012 (records 0-6, 2-4 and 2-4) and 3 2nds (1-5, 2-4 and 2-4) non-snake draft.

14 team non ppr dynasty league

I gave Matt Cassel, Randal Cobb and my 2012 1st rd rookie pick

I received Matthew Stafford, his 2012 2nd rd rookie pick

I made two trades in the last couple of days:

14 team PPR (1.5 TE)

Trade 1: (Last Friday....before week 6 games)

Gave Drew Brees, James Starks, and Victor Cruz

Got Adrian Peterson, Jake Ballard, Derek Hagan

Trade 2: (Monday Night during Jet-Dolphin game)

Gave Reggie Wayne, Roy Helu, 2012 1st rounder

Got Vernon Davis, Brandon Pettigrew, 2013 2nd rounder

That first rounder better be a projected top 5 or you murdered him in Trade 2.

Start 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te

keep 6 dynasty, 72 players kept year to year, 12 round rookie/vet draft every year

I gave Romo, Turner, Witten and 2012 1st and second round picks

for

Newton, Gore, and Gates...

my team just missed the playoffs last year and is doing well this year so the picks shouldn't be that early...

got younger at qb with I think a little better of a ceiling...

brings my core nucleus to QB Newton, RB McFadden, RB Mendenhall, WR Nicks... all 25 and younger

5th keeper would be Gore and 6th keeper will come down to either Tebow, Gates, or Aaron Hernanadez

what do you guys think? I gave up a lot but I like the young nucleus... I should be comepetive for years to come barring major injuries

Depends on scoring, but it seems like kind of a lot to give up. But I guess Newton may be worth it in the long run. I sometimes forget how high his ceiling could be with all the rushing TDs. He's the only truly long term keeper that changed hands, so from that perspective, you definitely got the best player in the deal. I'm almost talking myself out of my initial reaction which was that the 2 picks were too much for a relatively minor upgrade...Also, Aaron Hernandez seems like a no brainer as a keeper from my perspective. He's still only 21 years old and currently 2nd in TE points per game (ppr). I personally have him as a top 4 dynasty TE along with Finley, Graham and Witten.

I didn't think it was that bad, but thanks...and barring injury I think Aaron Rodgers, ADP, Bradshaw, Vernon and Pettigrew will keep the team in the hunt for a playoff spot.

I think he won both trades by a solid margin.TE=WR, so TEs aren't quite as valuable as they are in 1.5ppr leagues with a set TE spot. But they are plenty valuable and fairly consistent.

anyone traded ingram recently in a dynasty league?
tried to get him in all three leagues i'm in and the owners are holding pat.if i was in contention, i would offer a couple of 2012 1sts, or send a young WR in the 12-18 range (Maclin, DJax, JJones range)

10 Team PPR 2QB,3RB,4WR,1TE- Big Trade-

Team A- Matt Stafford, Jahvid Best, Maurice Morris, 2012 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th

for

Team B- Cam Newton, Andre Johnson

A couple of trades I made in the last few days in my 12-team .5 PPR, one of which involved Mark Ingram.Team A trades LaGarrette Blount and Delone CarterTeam B trades 2012 1st round pick (likely mid 1st and currently 3-3)I was offered this one of the blue. Seemed likely an easy accept unless I'm overvaluing my team (in signature). Basically, this one probably isn't a good measure for Blount's or Carter's value in my opinion.Team B trades LaGarrette Blount, Delone Carter, Ben Tate, and Team D's 3rd round pick (likely mid 3rd and currently 3-3)Team C trades Mark Ingram and Ryan Torain

Some Zealots Leagues trades:

T Gonzalez TE ATL for 2012 #3

V Jackson WR SDC for D Brees QB NOS

M Cassel QB KCC for A Smith QB SFO & 2012 #4

14 team PPR Dynasty

Team A: Fred Jackson

for

Team B: Jacquizz Rodgers, 2012 2nd, (2) 2012 3rd's, 2013 1st.

Team A is tied for the best record, Team B is rebuilding.

16 team 0.5 PPR

I'm not either of these teams.

Team a face

Vick

Mike Thomas

Lt

2012 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th

2013 1st

For

Fitzpatrick

Chris johnson

2012 1st

I hated processing this as the 2013 1st should be late and the 12 first early. Add in the fact that the team getting Vick had Newton do doesn't really need him and it's just a terrible deal.

He got traded in one of my leagues this week for Delone Carter and Christian Ponder. It is 14 teamer w/ QB as a flex option (and no negs. for INTs) so QBs are obviously worth much more than normal, still a nice value for the guy who got Ingram in my opinion.

Not involved in this one...

Team A gave up:

Gibson, Brandon STL WR

Washington, Nate TEN WR

Team B gave up:

Obomanu, Ben SEA WR

Williams, Mike TBB WR

Has Tampa Mike really gotten this cheap?

I gave Felix and got an early 2nd round 2012 pick. I gave Decker and got an early to mid 2nd round 2012 pick.
I offered a 2nd for Decker and the guy won't even listen he wants a 1st and more in my league.Felix went for a 1st, 2nd, Vereen and Burleson in my league.I think a 2nd straight up for Felix looks pretty cheap.

How does anyone trade Britt away for Colston ? I tried that trick in 1 league the guy won't accept Coslton, Ridley and a 1st next year for him

Pretty solid deal to get a starting QB (who IMO will be a solid starter for the next 3+ years with young hungry weapons) in a 14 team league for a 2nd & 3rd. We may not see all the results until a full offseason together, but I think Palmer will thrive again in Oakland.

Not to hijack the thread, but I would prefer Colston over Britt myself. Colston is 28, has been a very consistent WR2, and is playing this year. Of course, he has questionable knees. Britt is a very talented WR with characters issues and a torn ACL. If I were the Colston side, however, I would have probably tried to push for a bit more based on the perceived value of the two players involved.

This one surprises me since I haven't seen Leshoure go for much more than a 3rd rounder, and Stocker hasn't done anything.
