Ignore the fact that Peyton is doing well this season - he is a 36 YO QB with neck concerns and a declining right arm. Wilson is not a throw in, but this deal isn't treating him as one. It is treating him as a top 12 RB, which is what you would need to add (at least!) to Peyton to get RG3, who is outscoring the vet this season, and is well over a decade younger. Again, I know this isn't the AC forum, but I would strongly suggest that you give that deal another look over. RG3 is a game changing player that doesn't come around every rookie draft; a rookie that will be valued as a 1st round start up pick the following year - again, that doesn't happen often.

I'm not sure I would do that deal myself. I would want someone besides Garcon personally.

I agree. HORRIBLE trade for the team giving up Trent. Not to mention I'd rather have Nelson than old man AJ and head case Bryant!

Nelson's good, but he's no Andre Johnson.

Accepting that trade is a nobrainer IMO. In addition to what Coop posted, you get some value out of clearing two roster spots you can use for other prospects.

I concur. Trent was the guy I wanted, but it's nice to get Jordy as well. I think Trent is going to finish with monster numbers.

Spiller is a tough guy to gauge. He obviously has explosive skills, but he also has a slight frame and hasn't been trusted with feature back touches yet. I like his upside, but I think Stewart has just as much potential (and they're about the same age). I'd probably rather have Spiller because I think he has more instant boom potential. I could see Stewart catching up with him over the next 3-4 years though. Williams is 4 years older than Stewart and simply can't play forever. Jennings >> Tate for me.

I like that one for you. Trent is one of the best players to have right now. I have him in a couple leagues and probably wouldn't trade him for anyone. I do like Dez Bryant though and I think he's underrated. I have him right up there behind Calvin/Green/Demaryius/Julio as the next best combination of youth/talent.

There's no denying Dez's talent. The question is: can he take it to the next level on a team with a lot of receiver options with a QB that's good at spreading the ball around? I wasn't so much down on Dez and Andre as I was really wanting Trent.

Great trade for you, even if Jennings does bounce back full strength in a few weeks. Spiller next year is going to be NASTY. Of course, if D-WIll and Stewart EVER get separated, we might say the same thing. But I think the chances are greater of Spiller getting 70% of the carries next year than the Panthers coming to their senses and moving one of their RBs.

Spiller is a tough guy to gauge. He obviously has explosive skills, but he also has a slight frame and hasn't been trusted with feature back touches yet. I like his upside, but I think Stewart has just as much potential (and they're about the same age). I'd probably rather have Spiller because I think he has more instant boom potential.
