John Clayton said he thinks it will be Flynn. I will be extremely disappointed if that is the case.Haven't seen an announcement. I am going with Pryor.i've lost track. who's the week 1 starter at QB?
Maybe Allen's decided but they've been able to keep it quiet. Maybe he's decided but Reggie's trying to "persuade" him otherwise.massraider said:Haven't seen an announcement. I am going with Pryor.Tool said:i've lost track. who's the week 1 starter at QB?
Allen said he knows who will start and he has informed Pryor and Flynn, but he may not announce till Sunday. This should give us just the edge we need to dominate the Colts.Maybe Allen's decided but they've been able to keep it quiet. But it's gotta be Pryor. He gives 'em the best chance to "compete" (note, I didn't say "win").
Even if it's not one of the two scenarios above, I think Allen is clueless. Every picture I see of him screams "doofus." And he's not impressive when he speaks either.
Can't wait til they can his sorry be-hind.
If things go south in a hurry (a distinct possibility), those numbers seem pretty realistic. And I think Luck will chew that D up. Hopefully Pryor can match him with a few plays and the passing numbers will be a little bit better.Someone asked for a Pryor projection...
I would guess something like: 8/20, 135 yds, 0 TD, 1 INT; 75 rush yds, 1 rush TD.
Yeah, all the secrecy IS probably keeping the Colts' coaches up nights. "Do we gameplan for the guy with the noodlearm or do we gameplan for the guy who can run and has a cannon for an arm but can't hit the broadside of a barn?"Allen said he knows who will start and he has informed Pryor and Flynn, but he may not announce till Sunday. They will both Start Sunday with the Raiders using a two QB approach. Sanchez/Tebow will wear #0/#00 respectively and alternate snaps.
i really hope this hype about wilson is the real deal. i was very unhappy with the pick when it was made, but i'd love to be wrong!
I didn't draft them but I grabbed them off of waivers just for this week. I hope Pryor shoves it up my ### with 150 yards rushing and 3 TDs.i picked indy's D with the last pick in my fantasy draft![]()
I'm with Fabiano on this one. The last guy on my rosters are turnstiles. Pryor won't be a free agent in my leagues after tonights blind bidding, but then again I'm only throwing a dollar at him and see what happens. Like the Raiders season, what's there to lose? Last dude on my bench will never have Pryor's upside.I was watching the fantasy football show on NFLN. The opinions on Pryor are all over the map. Fabiano says he's getting him in every league he can, comparing him to Tebow two years ago in that you can be a good fantasy QB without being a good NFL QB. Matt 'Money' Smith wants nothing to do with him, saying he's terrible and will not be able to throw against real defenses.
I'm somewhere in between. I think he'll have some good games and some absolutely awful games.
Wow, I didn't realize he had any perceived value. He should still be available in most leagues. May have to rethink that dollar bid. Maybe 5 bucks?Picked him up and already flipped him for a WR upgrade. I really don't see him lasting the season, much less sticking as a starter in this league. He can't pass. Facing vanilla defenses, often second-team vanilla defenses, this preseason, he struggled mightily. I know he had a good third game, but the 4th was terrible.
I could be wrong but I think the best time to sell on this guy is now, before people see him play in a real game.

Tony Pashos?Good grief, we can not catch a fricken break. Per Rotoworld:
Menelik Watson - T - Raiders
Raiders LT Menelik Watson suffered a knee injury in Wednesday's practice.
Watson's availability for Week 1 could be in jeopardy after he "tweaked" his knee and was unable to finish practice. The Raiders would be forced to start Tony Pashos if Watson can't go, with Khalif Barnes moving to left tackle.
Here's a better question. I have 5 spots in a local survivor pool... almost $8K first prize. I am seriously thinking about using the Colts in all 5 spots. They do not have a matchup this juicy the rest of the season; not even close. So I don't know when/if I would use them again.ICON211 said:OK so Pashos and Barnes are the starting tackles Sunday. Pryor is the only wildcard in your equation. Otherwise, I think you're pretty safe on that call. Here's a better question. I have 5 spots in a local survivor pool... almost $8K first prize. Talk me off the ledge here.
Just think of how many entries will be knocked out, with you left standing, if you do not take the Colts and the Raiders shock the world on Sunday. Here's a better question. I've given up thinking like that.... it never works out. Survive and advance. Don't worry about what the next guy is doing.I picked Tampa Bay in my survival pool this week......that way if there is a miracle and the Raiders steal a victory a majority of my survivor pool contestants will be out....I know...wishful thinking but still....
I have three in an NYC one here (4,000+ entrants and counting!) and am taking Colts in all,Here's a better question. I have 5 spots in a local survivor pool... almost $8K first prize. Almost prophetic. To any "Raider fans" picking the Raiders to lose today in all their suicide pools,
I hope Pryor drinks your milk shake. #unpredictableweapon
Carry on.
I kept imagining Pagano screaming at his defense.... "HE'S GOING TO RUN!!!"huh...can't tell if the colts suck or we played pretty well.
