Pryor is the starter..

In 2QB leagues is Pryor worth starting?

What kind of stat line would people guess for Pryor?

who's the WR to own? seems like everyone's on Streater this year whereas Moore was the fan favorite last year.

I would say Moore will be the WR1 if he gets his act together and if he and whoever the QB is can establish any chemistry. That being said Streater will have his big games, and actually might be more consistent. Moore will probably have more big plays but Steater would probably be less frustrating to own. Just my opinions though.

Haven't seen an announcement. I am going with Pryor.
Maybe Allen's decided but they've been able to keep it quiet. Maybe he's decided but Reggie's trying to "persuade" him otherwise.

But it's gotta be Pryor. He gives 'em the best chance to "compete" (note, I didn't say "win").

Even if it's not one of the two scenarios above, I think Allen is clueless. Every picture I see of him screams "doofus." And he's not impressive when he speaks either.

Can't wait til they can his sorry be-hind.

Allen said he knows who will start and he has informed Pryor and Flynn, but he may not announce till Sunday. This should give us just the edge we need to dominate the Colts.

Someone asked for a Pryor projection...

I would guess something like: 8/20, 135 yds, 0 TD, 1 INT; 75 rush yds, 1 rush TD.

If things go south in a hurry (a distinct possibility), those numbers seem pretty realistic. And I think Luck will chew that D up. Hopefully Pryor can match him with a few plays and the passing numbers will be a little bit better.

I think Pryor is at the stage in his development that he'll be much better at home. I think it's gonna be ugly Sunday...

Yeah, all the secrecy IS probably keeping the Colts' coaches up nights. "Do we gameplan for the guy with the noodlearm or do we gameplan for the guy who can run and has a cannon for an arm but can't hit the broadside of a barn?"

The more the doofus schemes, the more money gets laid down on the Colts:

The Raiders have a master plan to acquire Mark Sanchez and pick up Tim Tebow on Wednesday of this week before waiving all the QB's they currently have on the roster. They will both Start Sunday with the Raiders using a two QB approach. Sanchez/Tebow will wear #0/#00 respectively and alternate snaps.

i like it

Ha! I'm starting TY Hilton and Coby Fleenor. If its gonna be a down year I at least want to make something positive out of it for my own selfish purposes.

I was watching the fantasy football show on NFLN. The opinions on Pryor are all over the map. Fabiano says he's getting him in every league he can, comparing him to Tebow two years ago in that you can be a good fantasy QB without being a good NFL QB. Matt 'Money' Smith wants nothing to do with him, saying he's terrible and will not be able to throw against real defenses.

I'm somewhere in between. I think he'll have some good games and some absolutely awful games.

Having a couple of reliable WRs he can trust is going to be critical. Even the crappiest defenses will not allow him to run with any success if they realize that's Oakland's only chance of moving the ball.

I'm with Fabiano on this one. The last guy on my rosters are turnstiles. Pryor won't be a free agent in my leagues after tonights blind bidding, but then again I'm only throwing a dollar at him and see what happens. Like the Raiders season, what's there to lose? Last dude on my bench will never have Pryor's upside.

:football:

Picked him up and already flipped him for a WR upgrade. I really don't see him lasting the season, much less sticking as a starter in this league. He can't pass. Facing vanilla defenses, often second-team vanilla defenses, this preseason, he struggled mightily. I know he had a good third game, but the 4th was terrible.

I could be wrong but I think the best time to sell on this guy is now, before people see him play in a real game.

Wow, I didn't realize he had any perceived value. He should still be available in most leagues. May have to rethink that dollar bid. Maybe 5 bucks?

Good grief, we can not catch a fricken break. Per Rotoworld:

Menelik Watson - T - Raiders
Raiders LT Menelik Watson suffered a knee injury in Wednesday's practice.
Watson's availability for Week 1 could be in jeopardy after he "tweaked" his knee and was unable to finish practice. The Raiders would be forced to start Tony Pashos if Watson can't go, with Khalif Barnes moving to left tackle.

It's a 2QB dynasty league. Any starting QB has value.

Trade was Pryor+Stills+2014 4th for Garcon+2014 3rd

OK so Pashos and Barnes are the starting tackles Sunday. Do we have an Official 2013 Season Thread or just skip right to the Official 2014 Offseason Thread?

Here's a better question. I have 5 spots in a local survivor pool... almost $8K first prize. I am seriously thinking about using the Colts in all 5 spots. They do not have a matchup this juicy the rest of the season; not even close. So I don't know when/if I would use them again.

Talk me off the ledge here.

Pryor is the only wildcard in your equation. Otherwise, I think you're pretty safe on that call.

Just think of how many entries will be knocked out, with you left standing, if you do not take the Colts and the Raiders shock the world on Sunday.

RN, I think you use the Raiders in 4 of those slots without hesitation, and choose someone else with the 5th as a safety in case the most improbable miracle of miracles happen.

Nah, wait, that will never happen. Go all in. :IBTL:

I picked Indy in my survivor pool without hesitation.

And my $$$ on the under 5 1/2 looks better by the minute.

So depressing but I'm gonna turn this effin lemon of a season into lemonade if it kills me.

I picked Tampa Bay in my survival pool this week......that way if there is a miracle and the Raiders steal a victory a majority of my survivor pool contestants will be out....I know...wishful thinking but still....

I've given up thinking like that.... it never works out. Survive and advance. Don't worry about what the next guy is doing.

Little to no chance given the state of the Oline. Injuries to the tackle position have eliminated any hopes I have for the team this year. I am now focused on watching Bridgewater in hopes of a brighter future.

Oh, and start all your Colt players with confidence.

I have three in an NYC one here (4,000+ entrants and counting!) and am taking Colts in all,

check out this pool:

Packing up to head to the stadium now. My only hope is that McFadden returns to form under the new offensive scheme; the Colts run defense was horrible last year and I don't think it has gotten much better.

To any "Raider fans" picking the Raiders to lose today in all their suicide pools,

I hope Pryor drinks your milk shake. #unpredictableweapon

Carry on.

Almost prophetic.

:scared:

We just may have something here. First time I've been excited about this team in a long time.

And I won't make a habit of picking against the Raiders again. Too much fun rooting for Pryor.

huh...can't tell if the colts suck or we played pretty well. we played better than i expected. i still think pryor is black tebow, but it was at least fun to watch!

if we lose to jax, que the death knell

Really proud of the team effort today. You could see the pride and the Colts really had no answer for Pryor, and really underestimated his wheels. Pryor is going to have to learn like all young QB's how to come back and win games late. This team has been the butt of jokes all off-season, and folks who don't watch the games and just the box scores are going to have to eat their words on their judgment of the Raiders. Sucks to lose like that, up by 3 in the 4th quarter. Give Andrew Luck a lot of credit, but it's nice to see us in an upward track.

BTW,

Where did unknown coach go? It would be nice to see this thread get updated to "Regular Season Thread" now.
