2013 Off Season Dynasty Trade Thread (for completed trades) (1 Viewer)

12 team PPR. Start 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 3 FLEX. 4 pts per passing TD. 6 pts per rushing/receiving TD.GAVE: QB Aaron RodgersWR Greg JenningsGOT:WR Justin BlackmonRB Ryan Mathews
That is about the 5th league you have acquired Mathews in (I don't know for sure, but seems like it). Putting all your eggs in one basket is fine if you guess right. :pickle: But not so much if you guess wrong. :sadbanana: Actually, though, I do like this trade providing Rodgers is expendable (and you probably have Luck). Jennings doesn't excite me and even if Mathews is a bust, this works out fine if Blackmon becomes a first or second tier WR.

The QB scoring in that league is quite flat compared to most formats, 6 PPG from top to QB15ish range.

Backup was Schaub. I made the move to shore up my RB corps and get younger at WR. Blackmon is the key piece for me. Doubt he will hit the Dez or Demaryius level, but really like the combination of youth and talent. I also like Mathews as a not too cheap, not too old, not too crappy RB buy this offseason. He'll be my #1 RB whenever he's healthy. I gave away the best player in the deal, but I think it puts me in better position to be competitive than standing pat would have. It's never too tough to find a serviceable QB starter in these leagues. With 12 teams and only 4 pts per TD, there's always someone available. Having said that, I offered the #2 straight up for Russell Wilson to the Matt Ryan owner after this trade and was shot down. Surprised by that. Guess his stock is sky right now (which I think it should be).

I WOULDN'T trade russell Wilson for a first. Rather have wilson than lacey or patterson or whoever from this class.

Schaub? You dumped Rodgers and your best backup is Schaub?

And finding a serviceable QB starter has already shown to be tougher than you think. I would have acquired Wilson first before I made the trade, so I wouldn't have to rely on Schaub to carry my team until I found someone better. You should be able to improve on Schaub, but then again he may turn out to be your starter for the entire season.

For

Jennings and picks 5, 8 and 14
I like getting Dez for that price.
I would too. This was his offer for Dez and was shocked I didn't accept.
So this isn't a real, accepted trade? Meaning he posted it with an agenda? Can we just ban this Phenix guy from this thread?
:goodposting:
[*]DJ Jizzy Jeff gave up Jennings, Greg MIN WR; Year 2013 Draft Pick 1.05; Year 2013 Draft Pick 1.08; Year 2013 Draft Pick 2.02

[*]Wrath of Bud gave up Bryant, Dez DAL WR

How would he know, is he in all my leagues? How does anyone know what trades I make in any league? I posted a trade I made similar to one I'm making in another league.

LMFAO, the self entitlement of some. "Can we ban this guy?"... Can we ban you for thinking you make the rules?

ETA: And to be honest I hought I paid a lot giving 3 top 15 picks. Dez is a headcase but like the talent.
You think that's a lot for a guy whose ADP is in the 2nd round?
Things change fast in fantasy...last year in my start up I got Dez after the guy took Jennings in my draft.

Not sure, don't understand what rolling-aka posted, was him who he was potentially gonna trade w/ in help board
We completed the deal. I am uneasy about the qb situation. I bet I can get Moore back for a mid 2nd when the wheels fall off in oak

Dude it was a completed trade, and not to harp on this, but it is not your board to officiate.

Also, tell me, how can you be certain and prove a trade was not made? Its assumption, do you know ever league I'm in? Do you know every move I make?

Thanks but put me on ignore if my posts bother you. thanks.

You've already posted a trade that wasn't an actual trade and now someone from your league questioned whether you had already pulled the trade.

I think Flying ace came on top by a big margin..wow
I could see both sides but I liked the other side more. I could look at this simpy as Scoop picked up the two best players in the trade in Crab and 1.1 and that's usually going to win most trades. Or I could look at it as a small difference between the 1.1 and 1.2 and I'd still take that small difference and Crabtree over Leshoure, Hilton, Wright and 2.2.

I don't quite see it that way. To me this is HIlton, 1.02 and 2.02 for Crabtree and 1.01. I would prefer Crabtree and getting the top pick in the draft over what Scoop gave up.

In this draft, there is not much difference between 1.02 and 1.01. So, I wouldn't be looking tobring them into the trade. also, why did you not count leshoure at all? Bush had one average season where he is not injured and leshoure is still young and productive?

The 1.01 you get your pick of the best player, the 1.02 you may still get what you consider the best player, but you may not. And for trade bait, you can't beat the 1.01. As far as Leshoure, he is a throw in as far as I am concerned, not impressed from what I have seen and wasn't on my radar even before Bush was signed.

Whether you like him or not he's still worth a 1st. I still like the Crabtree side though.

I don't think anyone can say with any degree of certaintity right now that there exists a huge difference between the 1.1 and 1.2. Remember this time last year everyone said it was a huge difference between the 1.1 and 1.2. When Doug Martn landed in an attractive spot their still existed a value difference but not as huge as everyone tought at this time. Now look at this year. A lot of people consider Lacy a lock at 1.1 no matter how the draft unfolds. How valuable is Lacy going to become to this people if he actually landed in a prime spot like GB or Pittsburgh? I'd venture to guess we'd see a wide divide between the value of 1.1 and 1.2 if there were to take place.

As for Leshoure I thought he looked a little worse than Bell last year. I don't want to say Leshoure can't improve as he still might not have been 100% back from his injury, but to me he looked like slightly better pass catching version of Ced Benson. I thought Bell looked like the better player last year. I specificaly recall watching the game on Thanksgiving when Bell ripped up the middle for TD run. I was at family's house and they had no sound on the TV and when I first saw the run unfold I tought it was Leshoure and I recall thinking that he looked more explosive than I'd ever recalled seeing him and this was good news to me as I was starting Leshoure in a few leagues that day. Obviously turns out it was Bell. That was just one run of course but on that one run Bell showed more explosion than I saw out of Leshoure on any carry last year. So faced with comp from not only Bush but Bell and I see Leshoure as just another guy and a guy you won't want to start unless you have to, not because you want to.

The trades I made in a IDP dynasty league with 6 pts for QB TDs, 1 PPR and 2 points for a tackle

I got McKnight, Joe NYJ RB;Pead, Isaiah STL RB

I gave up Jones, Jacoby BAL WR; Year 2013 Draft Pick 1.12;Year 2013 Draft Pick 2.12

What do you think?
I would love to get a first and a second for Pead.
Yeah. I agree. I backed myself into that corner. I had ganaway and just traded for daryl richardson. The only way to make sure to get that backfile is to get paed. One of those two should get the starting job which might be worth it.

I don't play IDP and can't really comment on a couple of the trades. I love the first and last trades for you. Getting Big Ben, Ballard and 3 1st rounders for some aging, though still good, players is well done. Also think you got Nicks very cheap in that last deal. The only one I don't like is the Roddy White trade. I think you arguably gave up the 2 best pieces in the deal. Both DJax and Mathews are kind of boom or bust though, so decent chance it works out for you if one or both put it together.

Very cheap for Wilson, I hope owner giving him up has a top 5 starter already if he made this deal.
No he has Freeman Bradford and now Eli. He really wanted pick 8.
Doesn't seem like a good decision with Bradford and Freeman as the other QBs.

Much rather have Crabtree/1.01
I prefer Crabbs and pick 1 here also.

No idea why some people would think this is huge the other way at all.

I can see taking either side, but not by a lot, especially not the other way

Not a Wallace fan per se, but wouldn't deal him for that....
shorts scored 2 pts less last year and didn't even start the 1st few games, QB play should improve
Wallace had Leftwhich and Batch throwing to him for a few games and was in a new offense that didnt suit his strengths and should now be the main focus of the passing game.

yeah he sucked for.those 3 games, but Shorts only started 9 games from what yahoo says, doesn't that balance everything else out?
