Harvin and Charles are the main issues here. You we're plenty good enough at QB in my opinion. Personally think WR needs a good injection from somewhere as well. Given the pieces you traded away, you would hope for a few more established pieces across RB and WR.

Alas, if you felt like you needed a rebuild.

Big trade in my favorite league. 12 team PPR, 1.5 for TEs 1/2/3/1 and 1 flex:Rob Gronkowski, Larry Fitzgerald, 3.01, 4.02ForDez Bryant, Kyle Rudolph, 1.06. 1.12Looks pretty even to me. I think you have to discount Gronk just a little due to the arm. If so, Gronk is pretty close to Dez in value even in this format. Rudolph and the two 1s is pretty close for Fitz. I like the Gronk side a little bit more, but if the other owner hits on the draft picks, lots of upside for him.Looking at both rosters, should be win-win. The guy trading Gronk has Witten and some very good flex options. Other than Witten, his roster is really young and now adds 4 more good young players. The guy getting Gronk gets the potentially huge TE upgrade and may not lose too much at WR. In talking trades with him, I know he didn't value the rookie picks too highly this year.

This is awesome in 1.5 for TE. I like the Dez/Rudolph/picks side but balls on both ends.

Bradford and Palmer have been in the league long enough to show their true colors...QB 15-20 is their upside...tops. And with the influx of QB talent the last few years I'd even call that a pipe dream. Realistically I'd say either would be lucky to crack the top 20. Tannehill has the highest upside of these 3 and even then I'm not sure his upside is that of Matt Ryan. So he's trading 3 QB's who aren't as and likely never will be as good as Matt Ryan (who's still a young QB) for a top 10 QB and oh yeah the best RB in the league since Barry Sanders. Horrible trade. I'd like to see that other teams roster beforehand but there must have been another option for him to acquire a 2nd viable QB. Way too early to panic which is what he appeared to do here...unless he's cheating.

Part of me wonders if the Practice squad can carry players year to year without counting against the 6 keeper limit. Another part of me wonders about the size of the league. In a 12 team 2 QB league, all three of those guys would have started games at some point during the year. A keep 6 league also is tremendously different than a true dynasty.

So, how did you help yourself at RB? Who's to say the top 3 RBs don't go 1-2-3 in your draft? All in all, with your WR depth it's an OK dynasty move, but if Julio or Fitz or Nelson (assuming you roll with 3 WRs each week) have a longish term injury, you'll likely be kicking yourself.

I feel like having multiple darts per say (1.4, 1.8, 1.8, 2.4, 2.8) give me a better odds at landing a RB that might be able to help. And if a great WR falls at 1.4, then I can always draft that WR, and try trading a different WR or player. I just know in my leagues at least, youth and picks are sometimes far more coveted than proven players in their 30s, whether that is smart or not.

AJ production over the next 3 seasons will be worth more than 1.04...people get hung up in dynasty......there is a cliff for RB's at 30.....not WR's...so people thinks a player like AJ is old is crazy.....he was a top 5 WR in 2012 and top 20 overall.....he is an uber stud(uber studs seem to be relvant longer)....1.04 is a total crap shoot

I'm an Andre Johnson owner and noticed he's in a strange spot in dynasty circles. He seems to overproduce what his current going price is and I tend to get offers for him that are far below what I would expect. That said, I'm still in the camp of "a year too early instead of a year too late" for trading and if I can get solid value for him and have the depth (in this league I don't feel I do: Cobb, Crabtree, Gordon, Britt) I'll pull the trigger. I know what you mean about the shelf life of WRs but their trade value above 30 falls off quickly. I'd rather extract the value than ride him for the next three years and then get nothing, with the exception of if I feel I'm pushing for a championship.

I now start Stafford -- Spiller -- Dez, DT, Julio, Calvin -- Hernandez, with potential short-term starters DMC/DWilson/Rudolph, so a bit of consolidation with limited starters.Rob got the better value end, and also now has a better chance of competing this season than he did previously, so seems it works out for both.

He should still fetch more than pick 7 in this draft and a 2014 1st.

I need a QB bad in a few leagues would love to pay this for Brees but that deal is still light years better than the deal I seen for Brees 2 years ago in my league that ended up like this.

Probably able to get Seferian-Jenkins with a later 1st who will be a more elite prospect, and QB situation can't be much worse.

Well, I wouldnt take a very late 1st this year, unless rebuilding. Gore has SOME immediate value making him worth say pick 10 or so in this draft this year if I have a good team and need the RBb depth
