Urias had a tumor removed from his left eye as a child, but his eyelid is noticeably droopy and this surgery will presumably take care of that. The Dodgers were planning to have an innings limit on him this season anyway, so this will give him a bit of a break. The 18-year-old sensation has a 3.00 ERA and 46/9 K/BB ratio in 36 innings over seven starts this season with Double-A Tulsa. May 18 - 4:32 PM

Well their offense is a lot better, as one would expect, but the defense is abysmal. And their pen is complete garbage.

They're pretty much drawing dead to win the division, and an outside shot at best to get the wild-card. BP's 2nd and 3rd order standings don't paint a rosy picture: http://www.baseballprospectus.com/standings/

And next year, Upton's a FA, Kemp gets real expensive and still looks awful, and they've strip-mined their minor-league system. I realize they were moving slowly and their offense was gross in 2014, but I think Preller could have possibly crippled them for the better part of the decade.
