Did Harden just air ball a 12 footer?
Thanks bro. Same here and to several others. Of course this thread is just turrrrble but it's all we got. Fun start.Bummer. Always nice to have a friendly adversary.
In all seriousness I've enjoyed your contributions to the thread![]()
Wait until he updates the thread title at halftime!Damn man, Capela is a beast at offensive rebounds tonight
They are actually involved in the game, not standing around for 15 to 20 seconds watching Harden or Paul dribble.Rockets secondary scorers are having a much better game. They're shooting like 75%.
Clearly Kerr’s throwaway game.Warriors playing like they were happy to split the first two road games.
Would be surprised if they aren't at the airport by 10pm local timeDon't the Warriors sometimes pack it in and just quit games when they fall behind like this? I wonder if they will keep trying.
Hard to attempt a shot when your sitting on the bench resting for the start of the 2nd quarter for the first 3 minutes and 30 seconds. I guess LeBron shouldn't be allowed rest ?More like great 1Q. Three shots attempted in the 2Q after that torrid start? I know part of it was he missed a few minutes after the collision, but if I read the box score right, he didn't attempt a shot in the 2Q until almost five minutes in to the quarter. While I understand he's not going to be able to keep playing the whole game like he did in the 1st, I don't know why he wouldn't continue to force the issue until he cooled off.
They already traded their 2019 1st top 10 protected. There's a reason teams make their picks lottery protected now a days. Even all those 1st the Cavs have already traded they are all lottery protected to some extend because if LeBron left they are going to give away top 5 picks ? They are smarter then that.if I were a GM in the league I would be salivating at possibly trading with the Cavs for some of their future 1sts. I can't figure out what value Lue brings to the team, and it just seems that the team is going to be in bad shape for multiple years

Rockets are also easily the best team they have faced over the last two years. Much harder to overcome a sloppy start. They had comeback wins from the highest point differential in the league this year and went 16-1 in the playoffs last year, so no.
Everyone on GS has sucked except Durant tonight. Sure was lucky for GS that Durant and OKC choked that 3-1 lead away and that Durant just happened to be a FA that year. They might have never won another championship without him.
Change might to probably after watching this beat down. Good thing Kyrie and Love were injured in 2015 and Durant went to GS otherwise GS might have never won any championships at all.Everyone on GS has sucked except Durant tonight. Okay. Maybe it just looks like it to me, but I think this is what is happening. They had comeback wins from the highest point differential in the league this year and went 16-1 in the playoffs last year, so no.

Stick a fork in themnot sure how Golden State recovers from this loss, tbh
Two days ago you said Durant ruined the NBA. What is wrong with you?Change might to probably after watching this beat down. Good thing Kyrie and Love were injured in 2015 and Durant went to GS otherwise GS might have never won any championships at all.
For real? Confetti?i take it back. confetti after game 2?
Houston is finished
I've had fun watching Tatum progress the same way. If you break his season into thirds, his first third was a get to know you kind of thing and he exploded onto the scene with his high 3 point percentage. Then the second third of the season he came down to earth and looked, lost, weak, and looking around like he had no business being on the floor. Then in the final third of the season, he just jumped to a level I didn't expect. And now in the playoffs he's even taken it to another level. No rookie wall, very aggressive and not backing down from anyone. I love it!Gotta say, the story of the season for me is Jaylen Brown. I was on him all last year and most of this for his tiny Trump hands & stoopit choices, the one-step-forward-two-steps-back of the tencentheadedness that went with those amazingly quick & hoppy hands & feet. Can't count the number of times he'd pick a pocket, snipe a lane or make someone fumble by being soooo quick on a switch, then fumble the ball himself, get picked back while cueing up a megajam or make a showboat pass out of bounds. Drove me nuts (admittedly, a short trip).
Somewhere in March, tho, he not only stopped doing the stupid stuff but, more&more, gamexgame, he replaced it with really bright choices & clean mechanics to go with them lightning feet & long arms. A month a go, i woulda swapped Tatum & Brown for Kawhi, coupla weeks ago Brown & change, now you aint gettin NONE of em cept from my cold Green hands.
Already retracted the statement you were quoting, so thanks for reading the whole thread.Hard to attempt a shot when your sitting on the bench resting for the start of the 2nd quarter for the first 3 minutes and 30 seconds. I guess LeBron shouldn't be allowed rest ?
They still have their best asset and virtually all of their best players save for one guy that they got for nothing this season because he forced his way off the team they happen to be playing, and saying they are "closest to the NBA Finals" is sort of like saying Gary Johnson was "closest to the Presidential election" for a while because he was officially nominated before the people who actually had a chance to win, but sure. I know how much Boston fans like to pretend they're the lovable scrappy underdog.Just so I’m clear, the Celtics B team is closest to the NBA Finals after two games in each series, correct?
Fair point, in my defense I was close to black out drunk when I made the post.
