Yeah. That was awesome. It ended with Cleveland's point guard hitting a 3-point shot.

No difference in generation at all to account for that either.Ya wanna know who did it (not as a rookie). Magic ####### Johnson, that’s who.

the system worksESPN's BPI has Boston at 72% and Cavs at 28% to win this series.
Ben is obviously a little better than Brevin Knight. No argument there.
please don't cite BPI ever againESPN's BPI has Boston at 72% and Cavs at 28% to win this series.
Please just pick ClevelandMy new terrible prediction:
I think the Warriors are going to roll the Rockets in 5 or fewer. I think it's a good matchup for them on the court- as their length, athleticism and ability to switch 1-5 will allow them to contest the Rockets at the 3 point line in a way other teams can't. I also kinda suspect they've been on cruise control basically since signing Durant and this Rockets team- really the first team since then that the media and public have treated as their peers- will motivate them to play at a level we've never seen before.
I've given up on trying to figure out anything involving the Celtics.
Check and Mate.Ya wanna know who did it (not as a rookie). Magic ####### Johnson, that’s who.

@Major says how dare youAnybody want any action on the GSW/Houston series? I don't remember any Rockets fans around here besides @Abraham but all are welcome. @BassNBrew and I bet last year but that was on the Finals. $500 max.
Don't worry @Capella I'm not risking your winnings, at least not yet.
Lebron and Magic-like improvements straight ahead.Ben Simmons said he is not planning on making any major adjustments to his shot this offseason.
"Minor things. But changing the whole shot, no," said Simmons when asked about tinkering with his form this summer. His inability to knock down jumpers, or even attempt shots outside of ten feet was a significant limitation in his game as a rookie. Last season, Simmons became the first guard in 30 years to log more than 2,500 minutes and not make a single 3-pointer. He also shot just 56.0 percent from the free-throw line. Some pundits have suggested he start shooting with his right hand, but Simmons is apparently not planning on making such a drastic change.

guy is so unselfish that he even gave away self awarenessLebron and Magic-like improvements straight ahead.
if he could only choose one to improve, which would be better for Simmons and his team? To be a 30% 3 point shooter or an 80% free throw shooter?Last season, Simmons became the first guard in 30 years to log more than 2,500 minutes and not make a single 3-pointer. 3 pointer easily. Any credible threat of him hitting an outside shot should do worlds for the offensive flow.if he could only choose one to improve, which would be better for Simmons and his team? To be a 30% 3 point shooter or an 80% free throw shooter?
The one landing spot I wouldn't be able to cope with. No funeral.Oh man, Kawhi went to the Dodger game last night. That should play well.
A bit strange that the coach of the year would get fired a few days after getting the award. I'm not questioning the decision--his playoff resume with the Raptors is certainly not on par with expectations. With that being said, he'll probably land another gig pretty soon.DWANE CASEY WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111
Milwaukee...who knows what the Toronto roster looks like next year.Is Toronto now the most attractive job? Or Milwaukee better still?
I'd love to see him in LA, but I wouldn't read much into attending a Dodger game. He grew up nearby. It's home for him in the offseason. The one landing spot I wouldn't be able to cope with. No funeral.
What's attractive about Toronto? I'd say Milwaukee easily. They have a legit star.Is Toronto now the most attractive job? Or Milwaukee better still?
3 pointer. Spacing the floor will be huge for Embiid. Plus defenders having to respect his outside shot leaves him to drive and do what he does best and that is find the open man.if he could only choose one to improve, which would be better for Simmons and his team? To be a 30% 3 point shooter or an 80% free throw shooter?
Bucks by farIs Toronto now the most attractive job? Or Milwaukee better still?
Toronto has a great GM and a ready-made team. Their problem is that Casey has major shortcomings in the playoffs. What's attractive about Toronto? I'd say Milwaukee easily. They have a legit star.
Are the Bucks that much worse than the Raptors? I would say no and the Raptors have peaked, I don't think the Bucks have.Toronto has a great GM and a ready-made team. Their problem is that Casey has major shortcomings in the playoffs.
The above point about the potential roster turnover is a good one, but who has a better chance at getting to the finals next year (with a good coach)?
I suppose long term, getting with Giannis makes sense. Just something about the Bucks organization makes me a little leery.
I'll take 30% 3s in a heartbeat. This is the new NBA. It isn't an optional shot for your perimeter players. The free throws are a problem and can be used against him but there's workarounds. 56% from the line is unacceptable for a primary ballhandler but it isn't a devastating game changer. The lack of a perimeter threat gives opponents a devastating advantage. The Clippers of the recent past who failed so often in the playoffs had reasonable injury excuses for some of it. But having Blake (who fixed it this past season) and DeAndre as featured players allowed defenses to over-extend on JJ and Chris while packing in everywhere else. Draymond used to beg Blake to take threes and Blake would back him down and do something dumb. It's much worse if the non shooter is running the offense. Philly is the new Clippers until Ben becomes a 3 point threat.if he could only choose one to improve, which would be better for Simmons and his team? To be a 30% 3 point shooter or an 80% free throw shooter?
you guys are so reactive in this thread. He was asked a question and answered. For all we know he could start working with his other hand this week. it is a press conference, and the kid is just answering questions. Maybe paying attn to what his coach says holds more weight?:How do you know your shot is broke?

Agreed. Ben probably doesn't know what he's in for this summer. I'm sure they'll try several different approaches seeking something that helps. We had this discussion about Ball a couple months ago. Try to tweak it or tear it down and start over. Experts have long held that at a certain age, I don't know when, but sometime around Ben and Lonzo's age, it's too late to change everything. So they try to work with what they got and improve it. Plenty of debate about that. I land squarely in the tear it down and start over camp.you guys are so reactive in this thread. Brett Brown reiterates that there won't be a complete breakdown in Ben Simmons' jumper. Phrases it as "intense refinement" instead. Will spend time with John Townsend this summer.

The major shortcoming is that they kept facing Lebron James.Toronto has a great GM and a ready-made team. Their problem is that Casey has major shortcomings in the playoffs.

30% on threes on a decent volume.if he could only choose one to improve, which would be better for Simmons and his team? To be a 30% 3 point shooter or an 80% free throw shooter?
and it sounds like they will consider that (i edited my post above with another quote from Brett that was more specific. saying they need to have a "candid conversation"). my guess is no matter what, we won't have Simmons with 0 attempts beyond 12 feet from the basket next year. Here is hoping some of those go itAgreed. Ben probably doesn't know what he's in for this summer. I'm sure they'll try several different approaches seeking something that helps. Not sure how many times @Jayrod has jerked it to this article so far but pretty sure he ends up in double digits.

I'd probably be a terrible franchise owner because I tend to blame players (mine and the other teams) more than coaches. Most coaches at this level are going to be really good if given really good rosters. Fans focus on coaching because they get desperate for better results when the answer is poisoning Lebron James, not firing a very successful coach loved by the player and respected league-wide.The major shortcoming is that they kept facing Lebron James.
Ironic you misspelled "in"and it sounds like they will consider that (i edited my post above with another quote from Brett that was more specific. saying they need to have a "candid conversation"). my guess is no matter what, we won't have Simmons with 0 attempts beyond 12 feet from the basket next year. Pretty much this. Hell I thought Toronto could make the finals, but I had a little more faith in Stevens than you.I don't know what to expect from this next round. My heart says that one of either the C's or Houston can make the finals, but my head says we are in for Lebron v. Warriors 4.0.
I think both series go 6 with Cleveland losing to Golden State in 5. Sucks, but that is where we are at.
Of course, I thought Boston would lose to Philly in 6 and that Toronto had a really good chance to beat Cleveland.

look one of these cities is incredibly cosmoplitan has gorgeous architecture is full of nice canadians on holiday has great festivals all summer is home to wonderful food in sausage form mostly and the other one is toronto i think the choice is pretty easy brohans take that to the bankIs Toronto now the most attractive job? Or Milwaukee better still?
