2017-18 NBA (Playoffs): A gasping, wheezing thread begs message board poster arguing how Jordan never lost a Finals to just let it die in peace (2 Viewers)

Loved when Bobby Marks, 6 minutes into the telecast nervously talks about Cleveland getting the 8th pick....30 minutes BEFORE it was announced.  OOPS!

My hot take on the Cavaliers vs the Celtics:

In Game 1, the Cavaliers only scored 1 3-pointer in the First Half. They ended up 4 of 26. That's 21 less points than their season average from the 3-ball alone. The crazy thing about missing 3s when you're behind is that it actually forces to you TAKE MORE THREES. I think we see a classic Lebron James comeback. The Cavaliers will go as far as Kyle Korver and JR Smith will let them.

It's easy for a team to run away when they're ahead by a ton. Lebron is going to have to make his own shots early and open up some wide-open 3s. I'm not worried about the Cavaliers defense. It seems to go the same speed as the offense. When the offense is cooking, the defense heats up too. Cavaliers by 8.

That whole thing was so awkward and uneventful.  Here's a blank stare everybody.  Now, an uncomfortable interview.  Wait, let's go to another blank stare in the seat over there!  And right before, to top it off, let's hear what an old exec has to say about the Penny doll he's holding from the 90's. :lmao:   If you weren't pumped up enough already, that should've done it!

WTF???

I'm staying out of this because I know whoever I pick will lose and I want to enjoy the game without knowing.

I still don't get how Lebron can hit impossible buzzer beaters. But struggles from the free throw line.

ETA: Dude misses 2 FTs, then drills 2 consecutive threes. Lebron James you are amazing.

Now I think they might take him.

Whatever the wrong thing to do, Orlando will do.
Then they trade him and he becomes Oladipo 2.0.

What is worse, having good players and making them bad, or just never having any good players and just grasping at straws like my team?

I love the ‘ol he missed a shot so blow the whistle. Seems to be a theme in the playoffs, at least eastern conference
