the worst part of this, is that this is simple behaviorism. NBA refs have to be the absolute worst parents. Kid doesn't get what he wants, he pouts and whines, and they give in immediately.Wow good call Refs on Love he moved out of the way and Tatum gets the call......wow that was so bad even announcers said it was phantom call and now Love is forced out of the game because of it.
the best is the idiot expert trying to excuse all of it. Great stuff. And thats not a foul knocking Nance out of bounds and #### talking afterwards????
it is the m.o. of the playoffs. My guess is the Warriors won't have to deal with the same shenanigans, but yes Cavs need an almost perfect game to overcome the "mysteries of Boston garden"Cavs should have won more regular season games. Not going to win a game in Boston.
Refs probably talking about throwing a guy out of the game for pushing the guy half as hard as he just got pushed while vulnerable in the air. Love it.
JR Smith says hiIf by play D you mean knock the guy out of bounds and talk #### while he is upside down into camera guysMorris plays defense, Nance shoves him in the back and yet Morris is the trash
They screwed that one up, too. I said the refs are horrible in this series, both ways.JR Smith says hi
Stevens tooI would have kicked out Morris, Rozier, Nance, Tatum, and Horford.
Dig up Red and toss him tooI would have kicked out Morris, Rozier, Nance, Tatum, and Horford.
Carriage return, GB.Chaos Commish said:I'm watching it again with coffee and without company and audio. Harden worked hard on defense throughout this game. His defensive energy, steals and blocks to close the half changed the tone of the game. What at one point looked like a laugher for the home team was suddenly a problem. From Chris's 3 tying the game at 44 with 2 minutes to go, to another of his 3s giving Houston a 10 point lead with a minute to go, it was Harden's defense was making a mess of the Warriors. He was sick on offense most of the quarter too. The half ended with Harden swatting Curry's shot out of bounds and both teams walking off the court with completely different attitudes. Without that defensive effort to close the half, the third quarter onslaught probably would have given us another blowout. I have two thoughts this morning that I thought I was past. One, this is how these teams looked for big stretches of the season and why Houston has home court. They work harder and play a little better if not quite as talented. Two, I have no idea who I expect to win this series, but it could be epic. The possibility of the Dubs backs to the wall in Houston for a game 7 championship game makes me giddy.
Livingston is so very underrated.Bull Dozier said:Kinda like Liningston's dunk over Capella.
So much for not complaining about the refs.I would have kicked out Morris, Rozier, Nance, Tatum, and Horford.
Yep.Cavs role players can't make anything and Marcus Smart is hitting banked in fadeaways. Home and away is weird.
Did you coach the Mighty Ducks in that one movie? So what I have noticed in this series is that if you flail around you get the call. Just like George Hill just did.
Guys that trip on their own feet get bailed out by the refs calling a foul on someone from the D.
That would be my halftime strategy. "Hey guys, just keep falling down and flailing your arms every play".
Please make sure to tag @mr. furley and maybe @Frostillicus on these posts going forward. So what I have noticed in this series is that if you flail around you get the call. Just like George Hill just did.

If you were in this thread earlier this year you would have seen the post that Kev made, I believe it was him. That the refs have never been better at any time in sports. So forgive me if I and many others in this thread don't want to hear your constant whining from your couch about the refs when you have no clue how to do their job or how hard it is. Your insight on these fouls is the equivalent of me going to have foot surgery done by a construction worker.WHich movie, the Pelican Brief? Yes, that was me.
Just how hard does someone need to hammer Lebron to get called for a foul? On the flip side, he has had several phantom calls go his way in the series. It is just so, so bad both ways.
Well, he is wrong. It is so, so bad right now. Not even the remotely slightest hint of what constitutes a foul and what constitutes not being a foul. Zero consistency in any of it. Both ways. Both teams are getting hosed on a regular basis. If you were in this thread earlier this year you would have seen the post that Kev made, I believe it was him. The looked at it with science and stuff and they get like 94% right or something. I assume this doesn't take travelling into account.Well, he is wrong. It is so, so bad right now. If you are saying that the refs are the best they have ever been because they screw up equally both ways, then I guess ya got me there.
That's been rebranded as 'Eurostepping'. Get with the times. The looked at it with science and stuff and they get like 94% right or something. I assume this doesn't take travelling into account.
