Dropped Goff for McCown this morning. Hoping I can get Goff back next week to use until Rodgers is ready to return. Also still have hopes of using DJ before the season ends. Losing 2 top picks is certainly making my decisions tougher each week.

 
Tried to get Ryan.  No dice.

Any suggestions on this delimena...start 2 of 3.  Sanu (NYJ), Ginn (CHI), and Hunter Henry (NE).  I haven't started Henry all year and those early donuts he delivered worry me, but it is against the Pats.  Gina seems up and down.  Atlanta may not throw much against the Jets.  I'm not looking for upside so much as avoiding a bad week.

eta - Dodds has them ranked extremely close together.

I am rolling Ginn out.     He is getting targeted for more than just the long ball now.

 
What if I drop Ryan for something I need from you? Like a WR? 

You pick up Ryan and I pickup the WR off the wire.

no guarantees we’d get these two off the wire because there is a risk of somebody grabbing them first. Unless we timed it or something.

i don’t need Ryan but I’m getting nothing from outside trade offers and my team sucks donkey balls so my interest in is pretty low in this league at this point.

ill do whatever to help the team though

lol...He picked up Ryan off the wire.  I hope you told him to #### off.  Sucks they are in first place by a ton and cleaning up on the wire too.

I've got Dak and Cam so I don't need a QB.  I was just trying to get Ryan to cut him for one of you guys to pick up.

Please don't do this. Not only is it against the rules, but we've called out other boards for suspicious looking stuff like that.

(Not to mention this is public and occasionally visited by other boards...meaning you'd never get away with it!)

 
I haven't done all the math, but looks like I am sitting well at 143.  7-0 would be much needed for Team FBG.  Also would put me in striking distance for the Champions tier.

win 6 if Butker _ Kielce < 20 pts : no happening

Not a bad result for 114.52 points and Dak crapping the bed.

Oh well, grinding along to 39 wins.  4 weeks to pick up another 11 wins and then pray Woodhead and DJ come back

 
I was offered Powell for Hunter Henry.  Not sure if this helps me at all.  I don't have a RB this week.  Powell is expect to score 9.9 pts this week per MT.  I can probably find someone off the wire that will get in the neighborhood.  Ertz hasn't had his bye so I'd be exchange a problem this week for one next week.  Based on Dodds top 200 moving forward Henry was the better asset to have.  Powell plays Buffalo on Thursday.

 
Lost another TE for the year. :(

Got 6 wins though, solid performance considering the injuries

Mea culpa from my end ... just getting back into this after 1.5 weeks overseas with no time to spare (funny how I'd never schedule a call at 10am CET and expect my US counterparts to dial in at 4am, but they have no problem scheduling 4pm ET meetings and depending on my presence).

5-9 combined the last two weeks knocks me down to the ragged edge of the top tier. WR was the strength of my team but I've taken some hits with the loss of A-Rod and Palmer and Martavis going looney tunes. KB shuffling off to Buffalo helps me IF Funchess can step up and be a true 1 (personally I have my doubts).

Just as I predicted at the start of the year, this is a "good but not good enough" team. In my shoes, would you move Engram and/or put together an RB2/WR2 package for a WR upgrade? How successful have people generally been making package deals in this league?

just chiming in...last thing I saw about DJ was that Arians said he might not play at all this year....cards sitting at 3-4 and have brought in ADP so unless they really turn things around, get in contention, and think they have a shot to do something I'm just not sure they bring him back, especially sooner rather than later....

Agreed, but better than keeper two kickers and two defenses rostered.

 
Pryor is out there.  Probably the highest drafted guy to date who hasn't been injured.

This boat could take on some water if Freeman misses time...I look at Blount/White as possible flex plays some/most weeks if needed...little buyers remorse currently on Perine as he seems to be losing steam from the preseason hype....my gut says Rawls ends up being a steal and possible every week play when Lacy doesn't work out....Thompson PPR flex if needed

so dealt Freeman for CJA and Diggs, which seemed ok, but then Diggs immediately gets hurt....Freeman currently RB15 and CJA RB21....Blount checks in at RB27....swing and miss on Perine and Rawls....pretty much story of my draft that my list pick (Thompson) is my best guy RB8....have added Dion Lewis and Collins to round the biggest group of average RB's around

I probably like this group waaaaaaaaay more than most will....feel I'm solid at the top 3....two upside guys in Davis and Lockett that if they assume the roles I think, could be nice additions...and then two steady eddy guys in Boldin/Beasley for some depth....Beasley is probably a weekly flex play in this league anyway IMO as he finsihed as WR32 and averaged over 11 points a week last year....probably reached a ton for Boldin but curious what his role may be now...

so felt really good about trading Thomas for Jordy and then yeah....the whole Rodgers thing crushes that.....and Diggs goes down....and Davis who had a nice week 1 can't come back....swung and missed on Pryor so that definately hurts, but never thought it would be THIS bad.....Hill has actually soewhat justified his pick as he is rolling in at WR7 right now...need Diggs to help out and justify the trade in the second half....

I did this just to try and take a look back and see how things went sideways cause I feel bad about my effort for the team....kinda just thinking it wasn't my year....took a stand on a few guys and it didn't pan out......massive disappointments with Ryan, Pryor, Davis, and Bennett.....and then Rodgers injury and Diggs....oh well.....will try to make a push.....first step is to get back to .500 somehow.....good luck boys....keep fighting the fight.....

You're still good.  39 wins is in, 38 goes to tiebreaks.  50 wins has always been good enough to make the championship tier in the past.  I'm beginning to question that with 34 teams within 14 wins (or .667 the rest of the way) of hitting 50.

I lucked into 4 wins this win with a 104 score.

 
Another year, same story.  Rene, can you take over the keys to this team?  Two guys who were announced out early in the week started.  Carrying two kickers and two defenses, one of which was on a bye this week.  4 wins pissed away.

Yep. He was also the FBG IBL commissioner in the early days and recruited me to the team 5 or 6 years ago. He's been less involved every year it seems.

We're obviously out of it this year but hate mailing it in. I'll manage it from here out.
