Bjelica is starting over Bagley at the 4 and has been really good. It’s a shame Minnesota and Philly didn’t close the deal with him because he’d be a weapon on a good team. I think those two will pretty evenly split time regardless of who is starting. Bagley may also get backup minutes at center going forward if Giles can’t get it together.

They’ve barely beaten three of the worst teams in the conference plus the sixers without Ben Simmons and 3 of the 4 were at home, so not really.

however, Blake has somehow really remade his game and they did do a nice job in the game against the sixers, plus Casey is probably a coaching upgrade, so they may have slightly more upside than in recent years.

Well yeah, that's the joke. It's my annual post. 

 
the officiating in this Lakers game in the 4th is a wee bit suspect. i'm guessing this will be the new normal.

McGee is a funny guy too. Everytime i watch him play he is not impressive in the least bit, but he always puts up good numbers. Gotta stop hating i guess

Pretty sure they had something drawn up for George, but when you're wide open 6 feet from the three-point line and a terrible shooter you just have to let it rip. 

 
Nothing personal @Moe., but I'm enjoying the early season debacle that is the OKC Thunder.   

"Unfinished Business" = not making the playoffs?

Certainly looks like a strong possibility at this point. I don't think these results so far are very fluky - it's tough to win when nobody can shoot.

Absolutely.  If we end up with AD (as rumors suggest may happen, later rather than sooner), you're right that we dodged a bullet.  But it will be a fortuitous break, b/c LA wanted PG13 and LeBron.

Clippers F Luc Mbah a Moute (knee) will not play tonight against the Rockets. Crazy fact: He’s the only player on the Clippers’ roster who played with Chris Paul in LA — and Mbah a Moute spent last season in Houston.

i thought about posting about that game.  this morning, I was trying to remember the score at end of the 3rd to figure out the 4th q scoring.  I thought it was like 41-10 or something.  it was totally insane how GS just sleptwalked through the whole thing and then suddenly went berserk.  if durant had made that 32 footer to cap it off, i would have believed in god, and his name would be KD.  

 
THAT is what Fultz needs to do!  End to end and dunk on a dude. Stop giving it up as first option and standing around!

and if simmons cannot get comfortable taking a 12ft open jumper this team isnt going anywhere.
