That's honestly the worst part about it, imo. The presidents trophy banner already encompasses it..

 
getting to a point where you can even have questionable banner practices sounds fun.

The Bruins have a single banner listing the years of their two Presidents Trophy wins, plus banners listing all of the years they won division titles (three banners total) and Prince of Wales trophies (two banners). The six Cup titles are the only ones that each fly solo.

Red Wings used to have all the Norris Division banners up at the Joe, but I’m pretty sure they had to downsize going to Little Caesars. 

 
I might be able to score playing on a line with Ovie and Kuznetsov.

I think the Canes are still paying Semin 7 million.

Edit: Quit paying 7 million last year to Semin.

glad i used bernier today.  perhaps murray, schneider, crawford will be born again one day.  trotting out bernier and ward is getting me in a hole i won’t be able to dig out of.

Impressive comeback by Edmonton. i was kind of hoping McDavid would have a part in every goal they scored this year though. He was in on their first 9 before it was snapped on the Nurse OT winner.

Is there a more underrated sneaky great trade than the Devils picking up Kyle Palmieri for a 2nd and a 3rd? He's basically played at a 30 goal pace the past three seasons and he may go way beyond that this year.

 
Big game for Caps tonight. Schedule has been too crazy to get a read on the team but tonight they’re home and rested playing a visitor who played last night. If they don’t win, it’s worrisome

Thinking about taking my son to Raleigh for the Hurricanes games on Dec 22nd and 23rd (Pens and Bruins).  The 23rd is the Whalers Jersey night.  (Cav gave my son the Hurricanes Jersey that I posted in last years thread).  He's never been to a Hurricanes game and neither of us have ever been  in Raleigh.  We will be driving, about a 11 hour trip.  (Flights at that time of the year look to be too expensive)

Looking for recommendations on where to stay near the arena, places to eat and what seats others would recommend.  Also, best place to buy my tickets.

I'm looking at seats on the glass behind the bench for the game on the 23rd, they are pricey, but would be a cool experience.

Appreciate any feedback.

let me see if i can get you seats......rdu takes southwest, aa, delta, frontier, jetblue, even allegiant.  i wouldn’t stay near the arena, nothing there.  i’d stay downtown at the marriott and uber over.

We are driving.  We're a little worried about getting a flight canceled and not even being make to make it. I'll take a look at the marriot downtown.  Would that be difficult if driving?  I do not want to drive around the city, just driving in and out.

nah, downtown is pretty easy in and out, but more to do rather than being by the arena.  i was able to get you 4 with parking to 12/22, the 23rd was taken already.  Section 106, Row T.  I-40 runs 5 minutes from downtown, which is closer to I95, it’s further west.  PM me your email address, when i get them, i’ll forward.  Take Cav, he buys pretzels.
