Except they’re considering tinkering with things based on how well Pastrnak and Krejci played together. And DeBrusk’s eventual return will change things again. That Bergeron chap seems to be pretty good at the hockey.
First game back after missing 16, and puts up 2 goals and 2 apples.
Best line in hockey is back in full flight.
This post is the gift that keeps giving all year. Also, still fun to look back at that draft and remember the Bruins could have had Barzal, Connor, and Chabot instead of Zboril, DeBrusk, and Senyshyn.
My wifes 16th bday present was seeing the rangers at the whalers since it was easier to get a ticket in hartford than NYC at the time. She saw Messier and Leetch in the elevator of the hotel.Old Whalers fans are losing their minds over the Canes wearing the retro jerseys and busting out the Brass Bonanza for today’s game against the B’a (and for the return trip in March).
I get it ... as an Expos fan, it would frost me if the Nationals suddenly busted out their uniforms for a game or whatever. But I went to a lot of games at The Mall, whether it was the B’s or just to see some random team because it was easier getting tickets there than at the old Garden. I actually live closer to Hartford than Boston where I am now.
I should have worn my Whale jersey to my family party tomorrow as an “ugly Christmas sweater”.

The Tuukka Rask Experience is starting to wear thin.Wow. What a game. 2 shorties against the Bruins. The arena was full and rockin. What an experience for my son! An unbelievable weekend. Well, only have an 11 hour drive to go home.
that's nuts... has CTE for sure.
I was really hoping this was a picture of Gritty.Working at a benefit game this morning and look who came out to support his hometown!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday, FFA HockeyGuys!
So much goodness in that. Not sure how I was unaware of this video's existence for over 30 years, but...
Merry Christmas, and Happy Whalermania

Awful posting......move fla Panthers to quebec city..and Arizona to hartford.....lets do this....F the Whale.
Houston is next upAwful posting......move fla Panthers to quebec city..and Arizona to hartford.....lets do this....
no more expansion now that they are at 32 with balanced conferences. I think the market size of Houston would be a big draw for the NHL if they did decide to move a team from Arizona or Florida. Quebec is just so small that it's going to be tough for them to get a team back, but they would certainly get one before Hartford ever did.For expansion or relocation?
Looking forward to watching some of the games. Unfortunately, one of the last cuts for Team US was a coach for my son last summer (Cole Coskey) I was hoping we would have the opportunity to watch him play this week.World Junior Championships begin Wednesday!!!![]()
Any idea how the Dallas antecedence look? AKA to lazy to google myself.no more expansion now that they are at 32 with balanced conferences. Sabes. 92.0% . shame. shame.attendance?
http://www.hockeydb.com/nhl-attendance/att_graph.php?tmi=5404
per this, they are at 95.5% of capacity this year.
I thought teams like Colorado and Vancouver would be higher than they are. Both around 91/92%.
have you seen their on-ice performance the past 5+ years?Sabes. 92.0% . shame. shame.
LOL... They get good finally and avg attendance goes down 10%. WTF?have you seen their on-ice performance the past 5+ years?

no bandwagoners there.
it always picks up after the Bills season endsLOL... They get good finally and avg attendance goes down 10%. WTF?
Is Brass Bonanza in the Bad News BearsWhen I watch the Canes all I hear is the theme music from the Bad News Bears.
That puck was zipping on that power play.Maybe, just maybe, you might want to mark Stamkos.
I was born and raised outside of Pittsburgh. I decided to become a Canes fan and STH. I still embrace the Canes and the city that gives me my livelihood. Most people can't understand or adapt like that. They move here, make a living, dress their kids up in gear from loser cities that they can't make a decent wage in.rockaction said:Since 2000, the Hurricanes have cracked the top twenty three times, never finishing higher than 15th.
I'm sure they have some great fans like Cav, but they get very little support. They've finished dead last at times, and they hover around 24th, if I had to average it from a cursory glance.
Hartford is never getting a team, not only because they already had one and couldn't keep it, but also because they're too close to the NY and Boston markets. So the Whale ain't coming back, but I'm not sure the pastures were all that much greener. Regardless how you feel about public funding for stadiums, twice-convicted Gov. John Rowland (who I interned for) decided. to go with trying to lure the Patriots from Foxboro, got a deal in place, neglected the Whale's request for a stadium, only to be jilted at the alter by Robert Kraft, who got his stadium built In Foxboro. So went the Whale.
Houston does have a history with the Aeros, that's interesting. Glad Seattle is getting their team after the Sonics debacle.
