So far he is the #1 guy that today is making me need to go study. Well today and his measurements. Just improved to unofficial 4.46, and he is freaking huge, at 6'5" with 34'1/4" arms he might only trail Butler in size/length.Jazz Ferguson 4.50

I think Harry is the 1.01 or 1.02 depending on what Metcalf does today. Of course, RB destinations could change this and push one of them up into the top 2.Harry 4.54 second run
The one draft I hold 1.05 I feel extremely uncomfortable. No way do I really want a piece of this RB class early.
Right now I’d have Butler, Harry, AJ Brown, Fant and possibly Metcalf before I’d think RB. I would even consider Murray early this year considering he is going to be a hell of dual threat.I think Harry is the 1.01 or 1.02 depending on what Metcalf does today. But if Harry goes to the Ravens all bets are off. Still a lot of info needs to be gleaned before our rookie drafts.
Even WR rankings are all over the board. Some even have Harmon as their #1 because of his tape. Thought there was a 2nd group of WR’s seems like a lot haven’t done anything yet including Metcalf, JJAW and Isabella.Did Isabella sit out? Haven't seen a thing on him.
Yes, there is a second group but not sure if JJAW is in it, I thought he did his verticals with first group so not sure on him.Thought there was a 2nd group of WR’s seems like a lot haven’t done anything yet including Metcalf, JJAW and Isabella.
Oh good. Those are 3 of my top 4 WR's, so I'm expecting big things. There was talk Isabella might run under 4.3.Thought there was a 2nd group of WR’s seems like a lot haven’t done anything yet including Metcalf, JJAW and Isabella.
Nah, that was a false report about JJAWYes, there is a second group but not sure if JJAW is in it, I thought he did his verticals with first group so not sure on him.
Good TV. Metcalf and Isabella are two of the more intriguing 40 times, making us wait for it.
4.46 on Isabella's 2nd run. Still was expecting faster, but he's still a top-5 WR on my board.RIP Andy Isabella 4.56
Metcalf 4.33
McLaurin 4.36
Ya, Isabella is back from the dead for me after the second run. Metcalf may end up 1.01 despite his lack of production. Tough to ignore the athleticism.4.46 on Isabella's 2nd run. Still was expecting faster, but he's still a top-5 WR on my board.
Metcalf is looking like Julio Jones out there. Starting to think he's got a shot at flying up boards, like maybe as high as Jets at #3.
Metcalf was my 1.1 going into the combine, he's probably a tier of his own now.Ya, Isabella is back from the dead for me after the second run. Metcalf may end up 1.01 despite his lack of production. Tough to ignore the athleticism.
Thinking the same thing. Could be really stiff and #### the bed in the 3-cone and short shuttle.kittenmittens said:Any reports on Metcalfs route drills? Not sure if they have done that yet...
Everyone expected him to be an athletic beast. I hope he looks fluid and flexible as well.
Hopefully I find some time to rewatch the WRs since I missed them live but I want to do a full summary of some of my thoughts when I do that.kittenmittens said:Any reports on Metcalfs route drills? Not sure if they have done that yet...

Fear not: there was a laser issue during UMass WR Andy Isabella 40-yard run. His official time, as is listed in the system NFL teams work off of, was 4.27, per source. Hand timings were from 4.27-low 4.3’s.
Wait, what? So the laser timer was off twice for him and not for anyone else?Fear not: there was a laser issue during UMass WR Andy Isabella 40-yard run. His official time, as is listed in the system NFL teams work off of, was 4.27, per source. Hand timings were from 4.27-low 4.3’s.
I don’t think that’s how that works and they take the lower of the two times. Jim Nagy was saying the only reason they don’t do MPH at the combine is because most schools don’t have the technology due to it being expensive so the 40 is still the only way to get consistent readings. Hopefully we get there in the next decade to stop this nonsense.Wait, what? So the laser timer was off twice for him and not for anyone else?
There’s no way he ran a 4.27 and then a 4.46.
Yes there is, this happens all the time. Usually it's about a tenth of a second difference, this is twice that but still isn't crazy.Wait, what? So the laser timer was off twice for him and not for anyone else?

I believe most sites including NFL.com either do an average of the 2, some other formula, or show both.I don’t think that’s how that works and they take the lower of the two times. Could easily see 5-7 players picked before a RB is off the board in FF rookie drafts. Weird year.
It might be the best combine performance since Calvin Johnson. Johnson had the proven elite complete WR skills and production to go with it... But Johnson didn't have a guy like Brown on his team either.Metcalf broke the combine for WRs. I felt the same way about Barkley for RBs last year.

I don't know if I'd go that far. I could see a couple WR's go ahead of a RB, but when the RB's get good landing spots, it'll be tough to pass. I'd put the over/under on WR's going ahead of the top RB at 2. Metcalf and TBD.Could easily see 5-7 players picked before a RB is off the board in FF rookie drafts. Weird year.
Were they considered average or below average? what were they?DK's 3C and SS times were less than stellar. Not sure how much it matters.
7.38 and 4.5. Well below average....Were they considered average or below average? what were they?
Well that stuff kind of tested the stuff I was mainly concerned about so.....DK's 3C and SS times were less than stellar. Not sure how much it matters.
Bottom 2-3 I think of all WR's who particpated in both. Were they considered average or below average? what were they?
Yeah the combine is more about finding red flags than about confirmation of what we see on the field.Well that stuff kind of tested the stuff I was mainly concerned about so.....

And to be honest what DK has done on the field while at Ole' Miss really isn't that impressive. From a volume standpoint anyway. We will see.Yeah the combine is more about finding red flags than about confirmation of what we see on the field.
He bombed a couple drills though too. Calvin still holds the crown for best ever combine as a WR.Metcalf broke the combine for WRs. I felt the same way about Barkley for RBs last year.
