The NFL.com draft profile says that he has erratic accuracy, makes too many questionable decisions, and may have problems reading defenses. So basically a shorter EJ Manuel.

But I agree, grab those lottery tickets. You never know, some guys it just seems to click for after a few years and Taylor has been in the league for a while now and hasn't proven to be mediocre at least.

I think McCoy is a much more special RB than Murray. Yeah, Murray had a great year last year, but that O-line was responsible for a huge portion of that. He also has a major injury history that needs to be taken into account. Last year was the first year he managed to stay healthy all year and he has not only had more touches than McCoy over the last 3 years, he's older as well.

My bet is that last year was the anomaly for both RBs and that the Bills bought low on McCoy and the Eagles bought high on Murray.

FWIW, looking at last year's FA decisions, I think Whaley and the Bills deserve some leeway. They got hammered for letting Byrd go and it's pretty clear that was the right move. They got hammered for letting Levitre walk the year before and that looks like it was the right move too. Graham was an excellent signing last year. The Sheppard for Hughes trade was a home run. Chris Williams was probably not a great move and Orton was pretty blah as well.

Overall, I think they've done above average at the very least in free agency.

I think trading was a great move because buffalo doesn't have the draw other cities have and it takes away that risk that no one wants go come here and we even more over pay

Huh? McCoy has more touches in the last 3 years than Murray, and while Murray is a whopping 5 months older, he has been in the league for 2 fewer years.

It's almost impossible for the Bills to have "bought low" on McCoy, considering he's likely to be the highest paid RB in the NFL over the next 4-5 years.

Having watched a large number of Eagles games last year, I think PFF is way off on their offensive line rankings and numbers. They were not very good all year.

FootballOutsiders ranked the Eagles as the 30th ranked rushing O-line last year. Dallas was #1.

Philly was 29th ranked in runs stuffed (1 being best, 32nd worst).

His tender would pay him $7M this year- $3-$4M was never on anyone's radar.

Fasano was terrible last year (blocking too). No thanks.

I agree the money would have been better spent on Barksdale, Wisniewski, or Blalock. RT or Guard are needs imo. Kouandjio may be moved to guard plus I think it's more likely they choose a Guard at pick 50.
