Someone mentioned Jokic had foul issues earlier in his career. I didn't recall so I just checked. His foul per game numbers have always been around 2.5-2.8 over his career. I dug a little deeper. He fouled out only three times a rookie, and had a eighteen other games where he totaled four or five fouls. He had like sixty games of three fouls or less. He only had three total foul outs over the next three seasons, one each year.

ESPN already takes away some area of the screen but to have to watch a severe weather storm warning impacting NO ONE and a ticker across the top of the TV the entire time
ABC 25 WPB, get a clue

I wonder if YouTube would be better to watch

Live Radar Yeehaw Junction taking up the entire Right side of the screen my house, I **** you not
I drive through Yeehaw Junction a couple times a year. True story.
Previously called Hazard?

For the love of God Caleb, wide open under the basket and he passes it to Bam at the foul line, WTBleep!
And then Denver scores on the other end, 4-pt swing just like that and Spo throws up in his mouth and calls timeout
Mother Bleeper!

If the Nuggets win this series Aaron Gordon is going to be this year's Andrew Wiggins.
He was their second best player before the All Star break. Hella allys on the reg too. He fell off a bit with his offensive touches in the second half when Murray really picked it up. He's been a great defender all year.

Jokic played 22 min/game as a rookie. Guys playing that amount shouldn’t foul out too often, unless their last name is Wiseman.

Jokic on the bench all 4th with 5 fouls and the Heat still look hopeless

Sometimes I wonder if we are watching the same game. He missed like 5 minutes.
He left the game at the 9:24 mark in the 4th. He’s missed 2/3 of the quarter. I get your point though.

Edit to add: of course you are right that ultimately he will play half the quarter.

Unless he fouls out he will play almost 7 minutes. The Heat don't look lost at all, they played great defense and Murray, Brown and Gordon all hit tough shots. Pope and Gordon have made great defensive plays with Jokic out. The Heat aren't lost, the Nuggets are just better.

Meh. The Nuggets look awesome, but the Heat look lost this quarter too. They’ve missed a bunch of defensive rotations. It’s been surprising.

The Nuggets have made at least 4 contested 3's this quarter and a couple of tough shots in the paint and only scored 22 points.

It was the asterisk season, 98-99, where the Spurs thumped the Knicks 4-1 in the Finals. This feels similar. That Knicks team was something. Sprewell and Houston.. Ewing too, right? (I should know). Was Kurt Thomas there too, or am I buzzed?

I could be wrong, but isn't that the playoffs the Ewing broke his hand and barely played in the playoffs?

How in the hell was Bruce Brown a free agent?

He wasn't a great shooter early in his career. And other teams didn't know how to use him. Great signing by Denver. Unfortunately, it will likely be short lived. He's gonna get a lot of interest in the off season and I don't think Denver will be able to afford to keep him.

I think you're right. I forget the exact year, but that was an ESPN highlight for days when Ewing fell awkwardly.

The Nuggets GM should walk into the team HOF with his roster upgrades from last year. They had G league type scrubs in the rotation like Will Barton, Austin Rivers, Campazzo, Monte Morris and freakin Bryn Forbes. Bones and Boogie were decent at least.

Now they got KCP, Brown, and Braun cleaning up that mess. Huge upgrade. Thomas Bryant was really the only big roster mistake. I would argue that coach never really gave him a chance though.

I think he's locked up for next year also but I could be wrong.

Per Rotoworld it's a player option, at about 6.5 mil. I don't see him picking up the option unless no one is willing to pay him more than that, and I don't see that happening either.

Denver REALLY needs to find a way to keep him and lose Porter. Good news for them is everyone loves playing with Joker.
