2022 Philadelphia Eagles - Leave Gannon in Arizona and let’s run through the NFC again in 2023. (2 Viewers)

Eagles went 9-1 against winning teams this year. This has only happened twice in the history of the NFL. They did so by an average winning margin of 17 points. The narrative that they had an easy schedule is so wrong its crazy.
Lions: 9-8
Vikings: 13-4

Commanders: 8-8
Jaguars: 9-8
Cardinals: 4-13
Cowboys (no Dak): 12-5
Steelers: 9-8

Texans: 3-13
Colts: 4-12
Packers: 8-9
Titans: 7-10
Giants: 9-7
Bears: 3-14
Saints: 7-10

Which part of that schedule wasn’t easy?

And before anyone goes off the rails, I’m not saying that the Eagles aren’t a good team.
But to continue saying the schedule wasn’t easy is …….cmon man
But your metric, every team has an easy schedule. Half of our games were played against teams with winning records and/or made the playoffs. And to be clear, we didn't just beat these teams, we trucked them. I mean, for real, the last time we played meaningful football in the fourth quarter was what, Indianapolis? That was in November! 10 weeks ago (including two playoff game).

Apart from the Cardinals, Texans and Bears, I wouldn't call any of the other teams "easy".

Still going on this eh. What was difficult about the Chiefs schedule? Didn't they lose to the Colts and take the Texans to OT.
Guess other teams that finished with 5/6/7 wins or so, easily vault up to a 14-3 record if they simply had that easy Eagles schedule.
9-1 against winning teams. No other team has had more wins against winning teams in a single season.
5th team ever to beat Divisional + Conference Title Game opponents by 21+ points each.
Other 4 teams all won the Super Bowl and all were DOMINANT teams (78 Steeler, 2 80s Niners + 85 Bears)
I am definitely ready for the next phase of this, will be some sort of

"Well you didn't beat a 100% Mahomes"
"Well, you NEEDED A SUPER TEAM to win a Super Bowl"

Def some mix of jealous, envy, and loser talk for sure.

We are trying again, no? In the Super Bowl. That what team that make and then win the conference championship play in, in case you (understandably) weren't familiar.

How about this, if the schedule was the same next you would be thrilled or nervous?

Excellent! Never heard that one before

you know who had the easiest schedule going by win/loss percentage of opponents in 2022? The niners. it's annoying no one talks about that yet the Eagles schedule is constantly brought up.

i bet next is, well that proves eagles had the easiest run in the playoffs.

can't win.

Still talking about the Niners. Lol.

Going into this season, Eagles had the 2nd easiest and the 49ers the 5th hardest.

Niners also handed all of their division opponents each 2 losses which helps drive down their opponents winning percentage for 2022. Just sayin.

No, I don't imagine you would have. Hard to hear the new jokes when you're keeping yourself in a 1996 time bubble, from the last time your team was relevant.

I love it. The dude complains when Eagles fans post in their sacred thread but here we are, a week after we handed them their asses and he’s still in here posting. Go focus on the draft or something. Good god.

i think i definitely fit in the "old" category, but holy moly that was a tough sit through to listen to her just ramble on. Worst part was i got a call for work, and didn't realize that it just autoplays her next videos and keeps going :wall:

honestly kind of hope Fred Warner gets traded here this off-season after that.

Some these girls are just trying to get clicks and follows. I don't know her nor listen to the video but I'm betting she's some IG model a lot of these players end up with and trust a lot of these guys need to stay away from these women.

Micah Parsons will be cheering for the Eagles on Super Bowl Sunday The Dallas Cowboys pass rusher believes in NFC East Supremacy and isn’t afraid to tell you about it.

Say what you will about Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons, and believe me I have, but he is a man who doesn’t care what the haters and losers think. After the Philadelphia Eagles punched their ticket to the Super Bowl by drilling the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game, Parsons — a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania native — was singing the praises of Birds’ All-Pro offensive tackle Lane Johnson.

Parsons has had the Eagles on his mind a lot this season and has had plenty to say about them too, with not all of it being complimentary, but he told Johnson “Love you big bro!” and to “go win a bowl for our division!”

Love you big bro! Keep going! Not many like you! Definitely not playing like you healthy or with a torn groin! Go win a bowl for our division!
— Micah Parsons (@MicahhParsons11) January 29, 2023

When you combine Parsons’ comments with the Empire State Building being lit up in green on Sunday night, it would appear that we are just waiting on Daniel Snyder’s Washington Commanders to build some sort of statue of Jalen Hurts, that will invariably collapse and injure someone, to complete the NFC East Circle of Support.

Everyone had an opinion on Parsons’ vocal support of a division rival winning the Super Bowl, most of which was negative, but he does not really care what anyone thinks, saying “I have no Shame! The league is a brotherhood ! I’ll never pray down on another man success nor be ashamed to say I’m happy for my brothers success!”

You people are sick! You will sit in your own misery because of lack of accomplishments than root for others!! I have no Shame! The league is a brotherhood ! I’ll never pray down on another man success nor be ashamed to say I’m happy for my brothers success! https://t.co/eMwd2UgpZg
— Micah Parsons (@MicahhParsons11) February 1, 2023

As a long-time Hater of many, many things, I would find it difficult to cheer for the Cowboys even if they were playing against an invading army of space monsters for the fate of the planet, let alone in the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. I find it gauche when Arkansas fans crow about the SEC winning national titles in football when they themselves haven’t won one since 1964 and I, as a Wisconsin alum, won’t cheer for other Big Ten teams in bowl games either, but Parsons is not confined by my narrow-mindedness apparently.

With Cowboys writers proclaiming the Eagles as the “modern standard” of success in the NFL are we entering a new, more convivial, era of NFC East football? If it results in Philadelphia’s rivals supporting them as they win Super Bowls I think I’m all for it.

This guy sounds like he's gonna be a lot of bark and no bite in a lot of big games during his career. Absolute ghost in the playoffs this year

I guess he's a back up?
I assume they will cut him or part ways prior to the SB?
Distraction that was not needed

He was on the 53 man usually inactive on game days. Had a good preseason as a UDFA which helped him make the roster. They got guys on the practice squad like Opeta who was on the roster and release when guys were brought back from IR and put on the practice squad they can bring on.

Might think about this. Do you know how long this will go for? I got an event in Center City but don't need to be there till like 2. Not worried about getting to the event just don't want to spend a lot of time killing. Hate to go to the Linc then back to the suburbs only to go back to Center city a few hours later.

You play who you play. You beat who you beat.
Of course

But let’s not pretend it’s something it’s not. Fair?

But that falls upon Eagles schedule detractors as well. Sure...at the beginning of the year if you told me that a schedule with DAL(x2)/Min/Giants(x2)/Commies(x2), Jags and Lions would have 4 playoff teams and 2 teams eliminated in the last week..I'd have told you you were nuts. But those were the good teams this year.

Think the team flies out at noon (schedule arrival in PHX is 3pm local time which is 5pm EST, and it's about a 5 hour flight), so this probably won't be more than an hour or two, at most.

Considering I got to be in the city closer to 2 I just don't see being in both is worth it and I have to do the 2 thing as it's part of a club I'm in and my President and VP are both out of town. Nice event but for me not worth it. If it wasn't for the event I usually have work at 12 on Sundays and I'd say I'd go

Sleep on this, but I'd be wide awake at these prospects:
Defending Dak INTs for the next decade
Repeating over and over "Well when Jerry is gone we'll have a REAL chance"
Looking back at the memory bank, the great years when you beat the champs, albeit it was Gardner Minshew.
Telling yourself "Zeke was a good pick man, but the contract was even better"

Or you can keep coming in here like your buddies that go "5 rings" and turn that repetition into "Eagles had an easy schedule"

A life to live that no one would envy.

Yea just saw this and thought "who the **** is that?" Nagana... Nagana... Not gonna be here anymore anyway.

See ya later. My only question is this happened in 19" so why did anyone let him play or make the team? No way this was hidden if this was in his records or maybe the Eagles got info that there wouldn't be charges and the case would be thrown out? Honestly any type of crime like that or DV I want my team to have zero part in said player. Its why I was totally against draft Joe Mixon.
Innocent until proven guilty. I'm sure a lot of these guys get accused. They were probably waiting for actual charges to happen. Now that they have, doubt he's around long.
Pretty sure he's charged with offensive holding, unnecessary roughness, illegal contact, illegal motion, illegal use of helmet.

If only there was some kind of objective stats...say, wins and losses...to determine how easy a teams schedule really was.

i love that some of these videos are getting so much attn. it is hilarious she is complaining because some people said the F word around her, and some drunk idiot said something about her plane crashing. In all honesty, she should be happy the Eagles won in a blow-out. All of these monstrous stories would have been filled with a little more content if the Eagles lost that game.

and it is just funny it is against the 49ers team and fanbase. As the Crossing Broad guys point out, these are the same fans that recently shot a Raiders fan because he wore an F 49ers shirt, and stabbed a Falcons fan after the 49ers won.

it is all silly, and my guess/hope is that the authors of all these videos, etc. didn't know this would all blow up and this is more due to the sports media not having stories to write about yet so they go the lowest common denominator. and grrr if it doesn't work and i have clicked on way too many of these things today :bag:

you know who had the easiest schedule going by win/loss percentage of opponents in 2022? The niners. it's annoying no one talks about that yet the Eagles schedule is constantly brought up.

i bet next is, well that proves eagles had the easiest run in the playoffs.

can't win.
Still talking about the Niners. Lol.

Going into this season, Eagles had the 2nd easiest and the 49ers the 5th hardest.

Niners also handed all of their division opponents each 2 losses which helps drive down their opponents winning percentage for 2022. Just sayin.
This argument is silly and stale. yes...the Eagles had the easiest schedule based on LAST YEARS win %s.

And yes....it turned out that if you measured strictly by THIS YEARS win %, it was the hardest.

The truth lies in the middle. The schedule turned out to be more difficult then projected, but perhaps the highest win % part is a little misleading due to a lack of overall depth in the NFC this year (inflating the records of teams like Washington, NYG, and Minnesota?)

All that aside, the Eagles dominated many of their opponents, including several who made the playoffs and had good records on paper. Yes....Minnesota was absolutely a fraud, but BAD teams don't win 12+ games.

Luckily, Philly gets another quality opponent to prove itself against. Arguably the best team they'll face all year (SF may have been better when healthy)

Morons like these are egging the crowd on with marches, flags, airhorns, etc just so they can try to generate and capture that "awful Philly fan behavior" for the "fans" back home that love the narrative. What did you think was going to happen, free beers and hugs?

Funny, for how mistreated the poor Niner fans were I haven't seen a photo or video of anyone being harassed - aside from Bosa.

We can all agree that any harassment of Bosa is not only warranted but also encouraged.
