2023-2024 NBA Salary Cap Draft - SECOND Annual Battle for the Wikkid Cup - Preseason Rankings are In! (1 Viewer)

Team Trader Jake
11.04 LAL SG Max Christie $1.7 mil

Second year pro plays solid D (most players from Michigan St do) and he hit 42% from deep last season. That ability to shoot is the key to his long-term success.

He looked really good in Summer League for the Lakers and already sounds like a 10 year pro. Deep bench spot here for cheap.

It was brought to my attention I could use a wing defender. I'll take Anthony Black on Orlando. Gotta love the hair! Him, Cason Wallace, and GPII should be able to lock down the perimeter when needed.

Ousmaine dieng, thunder. Probably more potentially good than actually good right now, but hoping for some more development this year.

I’m going to take an expensive gamble on upside here with Scoot Henderson. Hopefully he’s not this year’s Jaden Ivey or worse.

@the moops
I wonder how much earlier he gets drafted if the season hadn't started yet.
definitely ahead of Miller, for example. He’s been pretty horrific so far though so the fall has been deserved.
I’m just not sure why people expected his game to translate to the NBA well. Maybe 10-15 years ago.

11.16 KJ Martin/Kenyon Martin Jr. F
$1,930,681

Something of a combo forward with very plus athleticism and a shaky but not terrible shot. I don't know if he is going to get real playing time in Philly, but I feel like they are going to give him a shot as his cap hold is tiny this offseason and it's possible he's a very solid rotation piece.
