Whatever...whatever...Do you mean AC Green? The amount of women that throw themselves at NBA players, especially successful ones, is insane.
For that reason, Michael Cooper will always be the GOAT.
@msudaisy26 what are your thoughts on Jaden Ivey? I've got some tough keeper decisions to make, wouldn't mind a knowledgeable Pistons' fan's take on him. Thank you!

He looked like a promising rookie last year. He had lots of ups and downs and his shooting was bad, but how much did he work on it over the summer? I am not sure. Monte Williams is known for being a good coach for younger players and especially guards, but for fantasy purposes this offense will run through Cade and Bogdan. I think he is worth stashing, but it would depend on who you would have to cut. The other good thing is his family is from the area and he wants to be here so the effort will be there.
I haven’t played fantasy bball in a while, but my suspicion is that Ivey won’t provide much aside from scoring. And I don’t know how soon he would get enough volume to make it worth it. Depends on what your roster needs, but I would consider trying to trade Ivey.@msudaisy26 what are your thoughts on Jaden Ivey? Much appreciated. I've been rebuilding for a few years, so I'm inclined to keep younger guys vs more solid vets. Problem I have is what to do with players like Saddiq Bey and PJ Washington.....they’re all ranked right around each other, but I feel like Ivey's upside is greater.
@General Malaise I'd be interested in Ivey, assuming this is Uber
I need someone more like the opposite of Klay Thompson - I have plenty of points, need other stuff.@General Malaise I'd be interested in Ivey, assuming this is Uber
It is, but I want to stay young. Klay Thompson Available.
I also have Tyler Herro who is available for LeBron James, Eyebrow, Michael Jordan's 1991 season, Omar Asik and some 2nd round swaps. Could even toss in some Heat Culture.

Join our salary cap league. No charge/stakes other than board cred (can’t believe I typed that). We vote on the best teams after the draft and after the season (if I don’t wait too long), and I run it on a fantasy site during the season. I’ll get the new league thread going in the next week or two.Anybody here run a fantasy basketball league? Thinking about jumping back in. It's been a few years. Prefer 8-cat weekly H2H, but would do anything.

Yes he is.Wemby - he is going to be a problem

I really hope he doesn't fall into injury issues. The league will be a lot of fun if him, Chet & Zion are playing all season.
Starting to get excited for the season!
His last sentence is would bother me if I was a Bucks fan. Dame just has it in his head that the Blazers weren't going to trade him to the Heat no matter what and it has been reported that the Blazers talked with the Heat and didn't like their offer.
Dame just sounds salty and it isn't a good look. It is over and time to focus on winning with the Bucks.

Seriously. Was his goal to wear Crocs in January, or the win a ring before he retires? Because it it's the latter, this was the best trade possible for him.
I think Dame getting divorced and being desperate to go to Miami is an unappreciated part of this story.

Miami and Milwaukee both start with the letter M!

ill give it a shot. Never done a salary cap league.
I would still like to find a H2H though if anyone runs one
if only there was another rookie in that same game, on a better team, with a better stat line oh wait there wasWemby should be minus 50000 to win Rookie of the year.

He's a pro and will play well for the Bucks. Still, Dame was the line in the sand when it comes to player empowerment. Not Durant (who always got to go where he wanted), Not the beard (never happy where he is), Not Westbrook, Dame, the good soldier is the one who gets the "shaft" when it comes to his preferred destination.

I don't agree with this...he got his overall wish and was traded and it appears it was to his second choice...after seeing the results of this deal I don't know how anyone can question that he got the shaft...the guy got every dime possible out of the Blazers and they did trade him after years of him saying he would not go that route...not asking for a trade and actually performing the job you are paid to do does not mean you should be considered for a Medal of Honor...the Blazers took care of him but they are a business and not the Salvation Army.
The sound bite seems to say different. Again, The blazers did well by them, and Miami may have been arrogant about this "sure thing" but Dame didn't get his first choice and all those other guys (including Beal) all got to go where they wanted to go.He's a pro and will play well for the Bucks. If he got what he wanted the Blazers would have had to accept 50 cents on the dollar compared to what they received …I am sure if Miami offered Bam than Dame could have gotten exactly what he wanted…it appears that obtaining Dame wasn’t as important to them as it was for Dame going there. The sound bite seems to say different. fanduel has Wemby at +130, Chet at +270, and Scoot at +300. Has there ever been a better trio of rookies who go by just one name?
And Jimmy wanted to go to Miami and ended up in Philly instead. I get it, but since then that isn't really what has been happening (and I think in the Paul case, much like the Dame case, the league stepped in). It works well when you only use examples that fit your narrative. Chris Paul didn't want to the leave the Suns especially for the Wizards, Kawhi wanted to go to LA and got dealt to Toronto.

Exactly. Well said. This isn't Make a Wish. It's a ruthless business. Portland had a duty to what was best for Portland, not Dame.

I can’t believe anyone would think differently…Portland treated Lillard well…not every team wins a title and if that was his most important goal he should not have signed that last contract.

Portland wasn't ever going to win a title with Dame here. There was a small window when trading CJ for help made sense, but Olshey refused to part with CJ. Olshey also thought Zach Collins was the missing piece and unfortunately, he could never stay healthy. It was a pipe dream, but you could see the logic. In the absence of being able to land big name free agents, a team like Portland can't have misses in the draft and that's what Collins was.
The other big part of this is that Golden State stood in Portland's way every season. They stood in everybody's way, but Portland especially just couldn't get over the Golden State mountain. No shame in that - I think the Warriors are one of THE great NBA teams in history. Defensively, they owned Portland. And Portland was helpless to stop them when they got rolling. Then, teams like Denver, New Orleans, Phoenix, LA just kept getting stronger, landed big free agents and that was the ball game.
I think everybody that lives in Oregon is rooting for Dame and would have rooted for him if he somehow wound up in Miami. But Miami just never had the chips to get him. It has nothing to do with their GM being 'petty' or not listening to Miami's offer.....the offer sucked. It sucked. There was never any realistic shot for the Heat to get him. Not with Herro, not with late round picks, not with culture, not with Riley, not with anything. And the Portland GM has a fiduciary responsibility to the team to do what was best for the team and I think he did that.
Once Dame and the Bucks start rolling, all this will be forgotten and as NBA fans, isn't this just a little exciting? I for one can't wait to watch Dame and Giannis together. I'm more excited for that than I am watching the new young guns for Portland cut their teeth. Their time will come, I hope, but for now, I'm thrilled to see what Milwaukee can do with Dame there.
Definitely. Jrue is a better fit for what they have than Lillard. He is an upgrade over Smart and Porzingis is an upgrade over RW3. It cost them depth in Brogdon and Grant Williams. They are better if all healthy, but worse if there is an injury to one of the key 6 guys.
Totally agree and oddly enough as a Celtics fan I am happy Lillard ended up with the Bucks because it got Jrue to Boston and he is exactly what they needed.
