GB America.

Iowa makes, what, $70 million a year on their TV contract?

$70 million of actual currency that comes from folks' hard work is shipped to the the University of Iowa, every year, so that the American public has the opportunity watch their football team play on the television.
You guys watch this crapfest. It's been 10, maybe 20 years since I've watched a non-playoff bowl game. It's mind boggling how the American public has been enticed into watching Alabama play Northeast Tennessee State. Not picking on Bama, it's an example that applies at most top programs. The level of competitiveness is abysmal.
Do you pull for anyone?
AppState solely because they beat Michigan. My cycling buddy went to Michigan so I started wearing an AppState kit.

Any SEC team to tweak the LAC10 and Little10 fans of inferior football.

Really would just like to see good games. Maybe the moves towards super conferences will give us that. I think the new playoff format will be a huge improvement.

I assume that's not reviewable but how in the world do you miss that? Isn't there a ref whose job it is just to watch that?

Very strange idiotic play by Michigan. They haven't had this many dumbass mistakes in the season. I guess we saved them all up for today.

Michigan looks like they're winning the battle up front on both sides of the ball.
Came here to post the same. Good news for Michigan fans this far seeing that.

Everyone else must be seeing it too because live bettors appear to be hammering Michigan. Was hoping Bama would score on this drive so I could flip my bet over to Michigan but looks like that ship has sailed.

Michigan isn’t taking enough advantage of the momentum yet. They’re letting Alabama hang around too long.

Tommy’s looking like he did at ND thus far - one game plan with limited adjustments.

What was #1 doing on defense on that trick play? Running in towards McCarthy 35 yards away when there were plenty of guys there instead of covering the WR right next to him.

Two ways to look at it -

  • Michigan dominated the lines, got 5 sacks, and is only up 3; or
  • Michigan played its dumbest mental half of the whole season (by a lot) and is still winning.
I'd like to lean to the latter.

Milroe isn't very good at recognizing the pressure.
Listening on the radio, I can’t tell if the OL just fell apart or Michigan’s pressure is that great. Both probably.
They're mostly just sending a lot of guys. Milroe gets so locked in on a certain part of the field and is just oblivious that there's pressure coming. Michigan is timing the blitzes well. Bama needs to do some hard counts to try and get Michigan to show their hand.

UGA is significantly better than ALA. forget what they did to FSU backups. UGA had a lot of injuries for the sec championship game. Therein lies the problem w conference championships. Your best team doesn’t even get to play in the final four. Happened in B10 before too.

Need more output from offense for my comfort, but I agree with you

UGA played Saturday

A little surprised so far, thought Bama would roll. Michigan is much better than I thought. Very physical and defense swarms. BIG team more physical than Bama??Corum is a tough little RB. Bama has to protect the QB, 5 sacks half?? Muffed punt and the missed PAT or it could be 14-0. So we have a ballgame.

Michigan does have cool uniforms.

Same thing with Oregin in Pac 12 championship game (and in Seattle). Oregon is better than Washington but key injuries killed them.

Didn’t Washington beat them TWICE?

Yes. If they played a 3rd time on a neutral field Oregon would be favored again.
