I stoped watching years ago especially after the dog and pony show of Lebrons decision. They deliberately ignored certain things when talking too. Colin Cowherd talked about division between Bill the Patriots and Brody and ESPN acted like everything was alright. During deflategate they seemed to try and figure out “how the hell cab we defend this” and then the Donaghey nba investigation it was like let’s all just **** on the ref and defend stern in this.I mean I think they are just honestly catering to the largest audiences they have and that definitely starts with Cowboys fans. Those guys have been going after any media systems all year long if they are not praising their team and throwing roses at certain players' feet. They did this with the Patriots for the better part of 2 decades. They are just more about making money, generating ratings and igniting hot take convos. Its what the people want these days I guess. They are more in line with WWE style of "reporting" these days and the barstools kinda fanbase with them having McAfee and all their other loud characters. I stopped taking them seriously a long long time ago. It’s perfectly consistent with their business model which prioritizes generating outrage among Philly fans. How surprising. Definitely a great system they got going on over there.
The best way to deal with this is the same as the best way to deal with the Cowboys trolls: ignore it.
ESPN use to be good now they are like the amateur blog hour.
