Totally. It might not be fixable. To be fair, if you clean up the turnovers, this is a different game. It seemed like every time we were finally driving and getting something going on offense, we'd fumble. And its everyone. Jalen, AJ, Davonte all had fumbles on big gain plays. Its back breaking.
From your lips to God's ears. I'm honestly not convinced this is the case-at least on defense. Our LBer's are sub-par, secondary is old and it shows and the D-line-which is supposed to be a strength-isn't getting anywhere near the pressure they should. Run defense used to be great, now its marginal. We have the worst third down defense in the league. Thats not hyperbole. We're ranked 32nd. Its just really bad.
I think as of week 7 they were the 7th ranked defense in the league. Playing Dak, Mahones, Josh Allen, Purdy, then Dak again I think would have any defense in the league looking much worse then they have.

Had the toughest strength of schedule from last year's teams. Kind of an earned benefit with the brutal stretch of games for the Eagles to face in a row, with the 2 toughest games having each opponent on 10 days rest. I appreciate you reminding us Eagles fans about when the schedule is easy though haha.
the last four weeks are cupcake easy but I'm looking at the whole year. Projecting by last year's wins, it was a tough schedule. But it's much more realistic to look at Las Vegas odds and projected wins. I will say nothing is easy about traveling all the way to another coast and winning on the road. And Sharp Football and Vegas Odds are literally a compilation of people's opinions. Even on the website its says its based off of "projected win totals" but that's fine by me if people want to believe we are still living off an easy schedule. NFL changes every week with injuries and how good teams are, and I'm pretty sure this site doesn't take into account how well rested teams are vs their opponents, etc. We were a 1st place team, got a first place schedule. Are 10-3 thru 13 games even after losing 2 in a row, and we beat a lot of good teams along the way. Still got a chance to handle business.
Yup this is how I see it. It’s sort of what banker guy said weeks ago. They don’t pass the eye test to me. Last year they looked like the most complete team in all of football pretty much the entire year. They should have won that superbowl (and probably would have won it 6 out of 10). They look off this year on both sides. Maybe it’s a combination of fatigue and age catching up? No doubt they have had a brutal schedule.
This is my issue as well. Overall we are 10-3, the world isn’t ending losing to good teams at the end of a brutal stretch with less rest than your opponents. The play calling though has to be near worst in the league. End of the first half they could have run clock to ensure they had the last drive for example. Drive stalls on horrible play calls, settle for FG, then end up giving up another TD. Maybe Johnson grows into his role and becomes good, but it’s time to learn from mistakes and not keep repeating them.

Last week there were short plays to be had, and Hurts didn't see them, and held onto the ball too long. But yea - run the ball, use motion, get some screens and quick hitters. Whatever they're doing these past two weeks isnt working.
They played SF with a lot more heart then we did...
And so did the Commander to us compared to when they got beat by Tommy Devito and the Giants. Divisional games are always a "lets see what happens" kinda thing. We know this.
Defense will still be weak for a contender, but getting back to how they held up for the first 10 games will put them back into the conversation.

No, I expect the Seahawks to keep it competitive. Giants COULD keep it that way in NY....but probably won't. And there's always the luck factor, such as how the Jets got four turnovers, three of which were kind of bizarre and lucky (the pass off Goedert's knee that bounced up for an easy pick anyone?)
I feel the same. As much as I feel like s*** today and all the S*** I talked to the Cowboys fans I know IRL, I'm just expecting us to finally win in Seattle. The pass rush and the defensive calls need to wake TF up though if we want to have a chance at anything in the playoffs.
I generally agree, but regarding the bolded, I'd be shocked if that happens. They'd have to lose another game-probably to Seattle-and Dallas would have to sweep @BillS, @dolphins, Washington and Lions.
I'm with ya here. I don't see Dallas winning all 3 games against the 3 winning teams they face next, including the 2 toughest being on the road in Buffalo and in Miami.
ugh. but then AJ and Davante both had drops that should have been scores and Hurts' fumble was in the redzone so that's a lot of points left on the field. I'm going with the "tired" narrative and that makes me feel a little better about the playoffs fun.

We can run the ball if we want to. Had we came out and ran the ball to open the game last night, I feel the narrative would have been different. Keeps the defense on the sideline (who is gassed), run blocking is more fun for the O lineman, keeps the WR's more juiced instead of running more routes, keeps the defense for the opposition honest, etc.
Before the last 2 weeks there was this lame drumbeat of "The Refs love Philly" to the point opposing fans were posting the names of refs like a criminal facing 4 felonies in different districts across the country posting the names of judges/family members and potential witnesses.
I would say refs have loved the Eagles most games. This Dal game was sooo one sided.

What does the bolded mean? The way the pendulum of random refs calls have favored the Eagles in some sort of odds way where just we have benefited from it
For me is Brian Johnson and its not close. Has had a healthy offense all season.
Yeah you might want to check the numbers of teams' success against us when we actually do blitz and tell me if you want more of that.
I cant remember a single Eagles game this season where I was annoyed at the refs. I do recall thinking "huh, we got that one"
