What's the point of replay if they can't actually get the call correct? That should be an offensive foul on Auburn and Haugh not have his 4th.

They can’t add a regular foul via replay, only a flagrant.

I know the rule but it's stupid. That play was clearly an offensive foul. Luckily, the ball don't lie came into play on the free throws.

He was slated to be a 2nd round pick before the tourney. Sure he's looking late 1st/early 2nd now. Undersized for an NBA guard and weak on D but seems like a gamer ala Brunson or Van Vleet.

1. Houstonians put the clamps on the inbounds and Duke couldn't figure it out.
2. Everyone everywhere knew Flagg was going to take the shot and he almost no separation all night. I thought the lob was there for him, but he took took the fall away, hand in the face jump shot and front rimmed it.

I'm just glad the whole "jump on the guy on the ground with the ball, touch it with a finger but it's a jump ball" didnt stop the gator win.

No, Duke looked favored because the refs let them play physical all game and Duke is a bigger team. To let physical play happen all game long and then call a ticky tack foul(that didn't even look like a foul on the replay) with 18 seconds left is terrible reffing. That said, Duke should've never been in that situation. They choked.

The tournament is about experience and guard play. These one and done freshman roster teams never fare well. Houston is like all 5th year seniors, much like San Diego St. a few years ago. You have 23 & 24 year olds with Tourny experience going up against 18/19 year olds. He!!, Duke had Zion, RJ Barrett & Cam Reddish and got bounced in the Elite 8. Kentucky was another example a few years ago.

Duke would probably have won if they dribbled out the shot clock without shooting every possession that last two minutes. Houston's got full-grown men and they beat up the preps down the stretch.

When did I say they “favored “ Duke? I was simply talking about one call at the end of the game (which was a bad call). I wasn’t arguing about who got more calls in the game.
