Mikal Bridges played 6 seconds to keep his Ironman streak alive at 556 games.

Jarrett Allen played 1 minute so he will have played in all 82 games this season.

Probably some others. Not sure if anyone that mattered needed today's game to get to 65 or not.

In Allen’s one minute, he launched a 3 pointer which is about 22’ longer than his normal shot selection and then quickly to the bench.

for some reason the national media handed the MVP to SGA like months ago.....I get it, he is the best player on one of the best teams....but Joker put up possibly one of the best seasons ever in NBA history in almost every stat that they keep...(not just PPG, Rebounds, assists.....talking steals, 3 point shooting, etc)...Joker fatigue and probably another factor I won't mention seem to be playing a bigger role this year then ever.....this will be an incredible injustice.....

Both of these guys had great seasons, and I don't think one clearly outshines the other.

SGA actually had better VORP and VORP/48 numbers than Jokic did . . . and you just spelled out how well Jokic played. Check your stats, some of this is completely false. Jokic out-paced SGA in VORP by a good bit.

And yes, SGA is #10 all time in WS/48, but Jokic comes in at #11 this season just .0008 behind him. And of all of the comprehensive metrics, WS & WS/48 are the most heavily influenced by quality of teammates and team performance.

TBH...I don't even know what half of those stats even mean..... .....and I guess it comes to down to two things...

1. what is your definition of most valuable
2. how much credit do you give the overall record success of the ENTIRE team.....

to me #2 is hard to put your finger on because it involves other players/coaches....you could argue OKC would still be pretty good without SGA.....Nuggets a bottom five team without Joker

Joker is the best player in the league....would be the first pick of any draft if all players were thrown in to start over....has had an even better season then last year.....and like I said above the "other factors" .....Joker fatigue, etc.....play a big role......it also is kind of interesting that there seemed to be this push by the national media, that this thing was "ovah" months ago and it was being gift wrapped to SGA......Joker is not exciting, he's already won it three times, it will be good for the league to give it to somebody else.....blah blah blah....

What's funny is the years ago, many were clear that they gave Westbrook an MVP because he averaged a triple-double despite the Thunder finishing like 5th or 6th in the West, but I'll get money that most of those same voters will be hypocrites and not give it to Jokic this year (who just became the first center to average a triple-double). And to be clear, no, I don't think averaging a triple-double should guarantee you the MVP, but it will merely show how the standards of the voters change based on who they want to win (and they clearly in the tank for SGA).

Being the best player has never been the sole consideration for MVP - I understand and am sympathetic to the argument that it should be, but it isn't.

forgot to subtract the "makes"....lol....but 136/303 puts him at .448 percent.....so "almost 45"....think Seth Curry led the league at %45.....either way, think most get the point....he not only shot 57% from the field but improved his 3 point shooting and is also one of the best.....as a 7 foot center...
