Such a different team than what we saw week 1. A Lions offense that can run effectively is essentially Rams or Chiefs - lite.
Next 5 weeks tell us everything: vs Seattle, @ Minnesota, @ Chicago, vs Carolina, vs Chicago on Turkey Day. I think they can beat the Seahawks if they defense the running game more or less like this game. Similar to Carolina & McCaffrey, though it's harder to say how they'll fare there, given the Panthers looked dead for 3 quarters and still won. At the Vikes is probably a loss, but if we cover Thielen well it could be close. The two Bears games depend partially on Mack's health. Chicago lost to NE on special teams more than anything, but definitely have still looked beatable (by Detroit) the last 2 games.
After that you have an almost sure loss vs the Rams, and hopefully wins @ Arizona & Buffalo before two more division games the final two weeks. So, penciling in them at 5-4, they need to go at least 3-2 the next 5 to have any playoff hopes, and maybe better to truly make in it. Then again right now 10 of the 16 NFC teams are .500 or below (leaving the Packers currently #6 at 3-2-1), so it's not like the field isn't open.
