*** 2024 Pittsburgh Steelers: one and done again. (2 Viewers)

Not ready to consider what they’re going to do in the offseason.

The question at hand is whether they get the 3rd, 5th or 6th seed. Obviously the division and therefore the 3rd seed is unlikely, I’m hoping to hold onto the 5th
I see the Steelers getting the 5th seed. The Baltimore game is the first game played for Week 18. Baltimore will play to win and to keep the 3rd seed by beating the Browns. The Browns should tank there 1 of 4 teams that are 3 - 13 in the hunt for the 1st pick in the 2025 draft.

If the Steelers lose and the Chargers win, then the Steelers could face the raging Ravens. Easy first round exit unless turnovers and a miracle occur.

A playoff game against the Texans is a winnable game. Then TJ and others will get their first playoff win.

Bengals game set for Saturday January 4 at 8:00. It’s going to be a cold one.
Shocked they did't play these teams on Sunday at 1PM, both playing at same time.. You have a real chance of Pittsburgh resting starters if Baltimore wins..
Steelers can’t rest players if they want to hold onto the 5th seed
I get what you are saying, but Steelers have a ton of guys banged up, or just coming back from missing multiple weeks (Porter, Pickens, Casey, Fields), plus I am not sure Watt is 100%.. So it;s a double edge sword.. If Baltimore wins the early game the division is over..

Personally, I rather be healthy and play Baltimore.. They have beaten Baltimore before, know Baltimore.. Houston may be a better matchup on paper, but Stroud would be a nightmare.

Stroud has looked like dog crap for much of this year. Lamar on the other hand is the best QB in football. I just want to see a win and there is no way that facing Baltimore (the same team that just annihilated us and Houston) gives us the best shot at that. Give me Houston all day.

I would much rather play Stroud than Jackson and it isn’t even close.

If you’re looking for the best chance to finally win a playoff game, the 5th seed is probably better than the 3rd or 6th seed.

Superbowl path of Baltimore, KC, Buffalo sounds simple enough to me. No fear, play who we play.

I don't get the fear around here facing Baltimore. Sure Houston looks better on paper with a QB off his game, but Steelers have Raven's and Lamar's number. Pittsburgh comes out ahead most games lately. Don't need no * around the first playoff win in forever. Would be satisfying to end the ratbirds.

KC is another story. They know how to finish games and Mahomes is Mahomes. Tall task but any given Sunday.

The Bengals could beat KC if they get in. That is probably the best chance to get to the SB

Steelers injury list clean with the exception of CB Donte Jackson who is officially listed as questionable and will likely be a game time decision.

It’s going to be very cold with wind chills in the low teens. I’ll be bundled up but judging by the low prices on Ticketmaster there are going to be a lot of no shows.

The Steelers had won 4 straight in Baltimore before losing a couple weeks ago. If the Steelers would be healthy heading into next week, Id expect a close, one score game. I can't imagine they'd be underdogs by anything more than 4 or 5, at most.

Granted, a matchup vs Houston would be easier, but I don't think a game in Baltimore is unwinnable either.

I can’t believe I got points with Cinci. Desperate team at home? I mean, BAL hadn’t clinched yet, but still…

This game has boatrace, Bengals written all over it.

Tomlins game day management is still terrible. Going for it on 4th and one with less than a minute in the half at that point on the field was ridiculous.
His terrible game day management is as consistent as the non-losing season streak. It’s maddening. And, honestly, the Steelers just aren’t that good of a team.
Tomlin has looked completely clueless the past 4 weeks. Thank goodness we signed him to a 3 year extension.

I got to ask a few things.. Number 1, can we stop with the Calvin Auston crap.. Dude sucks.. 36 catches in 17 games.

Second, can we move on from Pickens? Problem child... Dude literally on the sideline tonight, fighting with the fans.
