2025 College Football Thread: James Franklin decides losing big games wasn’t quite enough (15 Viewers)

UCLA using the clock well too. Who is this new coach? He's doing great!
The offensive coordinator is Jerry Neuheisel, Rick’s son. He’s been hanging around the program for years, somehow surviving every coaching change. Today is his first ever important job.

Bruins hanging tough. Really impressed.

He looks just like his dad. Wow. Good stuff. Finish this off!!

I mean, it happens.

This game looks like an actual football game between actual football teams.

Would love a win but this still looks legitimizing.
Agree 100%. Vandy is legit
Very impressed with Vandy, had not seen them play until today.
Coach Lea is awesome.

Don’t know what it looks like in a future season without a great college QB returning, but I want to find out!

Vandy boys showing a lot of fire and losing some composure over the imminent loss. I love that the crowd’s enthusiasm is grating on them. The will to win, and belief in it, exists in black and gold. ⚓

Those of you who haven’t followed UCLA this year have NO idea how shocking this score is. The Bruins have been incredibly awful this season, offensively, defensively, the worst team they’ve had in my lifetime by far. I am stunned by this.

Foster was a disaster. They do have some talent on their roster. But yeah, still shocking.

Texas vs Penn State in the Music City Bowl will be something none of us saw coming a month ago
I promise in Austin they have. They’ve been in denial locally, but I saw Arch struggle vs San Jose State and I told them this would happen.

If Mateer could possibly be back for Red River, it could get ugly ugly down here. Arch is essentially Chris Simms now and fans are hoping there’s an Applewhite to be found.

Who’s the QB that subbed for Arch when he had to come out? He showed a better presence in the pocket than Arch and delivered a strike in a high pressure situation.

Thought the same thing. He fired that ball into his receiver. Play that guy!

No one can possibly say Arch is a #1 overall pick.

Doesn't have the pedigree and the 8 figure NIL deal.

He has started 7 college games. No one should have ever claimed he was the #1 overall pick.

He needs another year in school
