Jalen throwing 4 picks. He never turns the ball over, its one of his strengths.
AJ dropping multiple passes. He rarely has a drop, let alone three.
Elliot missing a 48 yarder. He hasn't been great this year, but thats atypical.
Going 0/2 in the red zone. That has been one of the few strengths of this offense.

All of this happened and they still were in position to win the game at the end of over time.

I thought the offenseive play calling was much better than it has been, it was tarnished by the picks, but generally I thought it looked like a functioning offense.

I think Jslen is obviously not running it as much and he needs to. I'm of the belief that he has been holding back on that with the intention of unveiling more designed runs at the end here. Call me tin foil hat or whatever, but Jalens no dummy. He knows what makes this offense lethal and it is his running ability and the defense having to account for him that opens everything else up-both for Saquon and for the passing game.

The two years the Eagles went to the Super Bowl he averaged 11 carries per game and 10 carries per game. He's down around 6 this year and most of those are scrambles, not RPO / designed runs. I'll be shocked if he doesn't get to double digit runs tomorrow and its going to amake the rest of this offense look very good.

Great rebound game for Jalen. I know it was an awful team, but he was accurate and quick. The running was a nice complement - but when he gets the ball out in rhythm, he gets results. Running backs got going too as the game went on. Can't imagine anyone wants to face this defense in the playoffs.

It was indeed just the Raiders, but it was a complete game, and a level of dominance we rarely see. Raiders had like 40 yards on their opening drive...and something like THIRTY FIVE for the rest of the game. Last I checked Vegas is still a pro team...that level of dominance has meaning.

It's the complete game part that had me happy. Run game still not great, but it was effective enough. Hopefully they can continue the balance going forward

Hurts is better when you give him less to deal with. Quick design plays to get the ball out plus a good run game sets up playaction and running hurts helps. Where he really gets issues is when they force the 30plus throws a game and go with longer designed passes where he has to read the field longer.

I'm at where I need to be. Rooting for a team that for sure will be hosting a playoff game, that for sure is getting a Hall of Fame OT back for at least those playoffs and also getting back a for sure very good DT in Jalen Carter for the same playoffs.

And we just scored 34 points and held a team to 0 points and it could be argue those 2 guys are THE most important players on offense and defense.

Come on man...give the Eagles a LITTLE credit here. Nobody is claiming them championship worthy base don this result, but it was still impressive. Especially on the defensive side. On the offensive side they did what we should have expected...not special at all on that side...but that has us happy because the offense has been the bigger question mark, the less consistent piece all year. IN this game at least, they WERE consistent.
It's the defense that should have impressed you...or ANYBODY taking an honest look. And yes, the Eagles backup offense really did put up more yards on one drive then the Raiders did FOR THE WHOLE GAME! IDGAF if it was the Raiders...that is absolutely a mind blowing and impressive stat, so gtfo with the ultra-negativity.

Not concerned about seeding. I think Philly has the best roster in the NFC and just needs to get a healthy Lane and Jalen back for the playoffs and we'll be good.

yeah, I think the 1 seed is no longer even mathematically possible. The scenario you lay out seems plausible, but I'm assuming we end up the 3 seed. I think I saw on ESPN that we have like a 15% chance of getting the 2 seed and like an 86% chance of getting the 3.

Just win. We have at least one guaranteed home playoff game. As it stands today, we'd most likely host the Niners in the WC round. Just win that game and theres a number of scenarios that we could host another home playoff game.

The good news is, IMO, we are going to be getting healthy at the right time (Lane looks like he'll be back this week and Carter should be ready before week one of the playoffs). We look like we may have turned a corner w/r/t offense. Saturday's game will tell us a lot; In Buffalo next week will tell us more. Most importantly, we have a Super Bowl defense. With the talent on this defense and with Fangio calling the shots, we just need the offense to be efficient and to protect the ball. If we do that, we can beat anyone.

If he can find a way to unleash Phillips and get non stop pass rush from a trio of Hunt/Phillips/Smith I'd be very encouraged. With that said, the defense is pretty damn good right now and adding Carter will certainly help. Jackson as CB2 is going to be the thing that worries me the most once the playoffs start.
